New WWE.com Photoshoot: Summer - Enmeshed

The Photoshoot Gods are smiling on us! This is the second - and I'm hoping one of many, many, many :) more to come - bikini shoot released by the Big Dub this month. Score! As with Lana's 'shoot, the location is paradisiacal: palm fronds, white sands, luxurious cabana...just the right kind of place for wearing a bikini with stilettos, rocking sexy poses and playing your hair ;). Summer does all of the above in her set of snaps. She gives us two different bikinis to savor. The first is a pretty peach underwire top, paired with a printed bottom that's accented with a touch of lace. I love the femininity and fun way she's pulled the sherbet shade of her top out of the mix of options in the print. She's accented it with a massive, fluttery fringe necklace and delicate knotted wedge espadrilles that are perfectly in keeping with the feel of her bikini. The casual luxury of the cabana is alluring and fitting setting for this sweet look, although the variety of colors and texture perhaps doesn't set off the bikini quite as well the sand and sun of her  second look. Speaking of which :), s gorgeous as ensemble #1 is, it's completely blown away by her second bikini, a sporty triangle top with black mesh overlaying a white suit, paired with white string bottoms. This suit is simply SCALDING. I love the rebellious, athletic vibe of the top so much! Summer softens it with a luxe multi-hued jeweled flower statement necklace and, sometimes, with a shot of bright color from an orange floral scarf tied at her waist - what a great idea for a cover-up! With this suit, she really lets her glam side show in her poses and nails all the classics, including the kneeling-on-sand pose and an over-the-shoulder shot or two. PS If killer legs and abs rock your world, this set is a must-see. This 'shoot is about garden-y seduction - a heart-of-gold glamour girl reveling the simple goodness of a magnificent, ocean-side play-spot..and the beauty she adds to it. That's definitely a scene worth taking photos of! Are you jealous of the photographer yet? Just wait until you see the rest of the set ;)

Inspiration Board: Brie - Lazy Days

The fashion-forward feel of this outfit from Brie immediately caught my attention! It's such a fantabulous way to do casual ...but still throw a really stylish, bold twist into it, which makes it an amazeballs look to play with for weekend happenings. The crux of this look is the contrast between Brie's carefree, boho cami and her mod oxfords. Her shoes have a solid, masculine vibe that gives a voguish twist to this outfit. Since the styling really hinges on the shoes, recreating that styling gets a bit interesting, but I have some thoughts :). Step 1: grab any fun, boho top from your closet and/or dresser. Brie chose black, so I've gone with that here, but tan, camel, ivory and khaki neutrals will work just as well. If your top has multi-colored embroidery, so much the better; crochet, beading, tassels or other artisanal detail are strongly encouraged. Fringe is a perfectly acceptable option as well.  If you are sans boho camis entirely, try a crocheted sweater over a tank or bralette. It will create the same free-spirited feel to contrast with strong shoes. Distressed denim is a flawless choice for this look, not only because of its laidback vibe, but also because of the ventilation potential ;) (fashionality doesn't always require suffering :)). Non-distressed will work too. The crucial aspect of your pants is the silhouette; you need something with some width. Wide leg designs are precisely right, straight-legs will do nicely and you can probably get away with bootcuts if need be. Leave the skinny jeans home on this one. If you are anti-denim, follow these same principles with chinos. If you own culottes in any cotton fabric, this would be the time to haul them out of whatever recess they are currently in. Ok, now to the ride-or-die: shoes! Lace-up oxfords - especially chunky-soled versions are the ultimate foil for this breezy look. In the absence of such a pair, go for a flat espadrille. It still gives you that grounded vibe, albeit a bit more classically than Brie's choice. Lace-up gladiator flats will do the trick as well. Happy laidback styling!

OK...I am not quite done with June ;). There were a few bits and bobs and bibbitybobbityboos of fashion that were just too good not to blather about with you!
First up is this super-cute outfit from Gail...super-cute, but also super comfy! She paired a simple tee with knit pants and sneakers. But it's her cropped jacket that really gives this look its zing. I love jackets like this one; they have a biker/motorcycle inspired silhouette and detailing, but are created in a sweatshirt fabric. They're as easy to wear as a sweat jacket, but far more stylish and polished, i.e. perfect for travelling, as Gail seems to be doing here :). She also gets props for adding olive to break up the black. After a long hiatus, this dusty brown-green shade is showing up again in fashion. Hint: it works just as well with camel and ivory as it does with black!
Next: heeeeeellllo, Natalya! Girlfriend sent this snap out on Instagram and once you get past drooling over how amazing she looks (yes, I understand that it could take awhile ;)), you start to notice that she's exploring a color we don't often see from her: red!  I'm so used to Nattie rocking the pink and black, but this shade definitely suits her. The intensity of the color is gorgeous...and would probably be even more so if the lighting allowed us to see the contrast of the bright strawberry with her blonde hair. Actually, we should prob be grateful that it doesn't, or we'd all keel over from drool dehydration. (Is that a thing yet?)
We also got a couple of killer looks from the Bellas. This all-black outfit from Brie pairs high-waisted wide-leg pants with a tie-front top. I'm a huge fan of the tie-front look, as well as of the modern-meets-70's vibe it creates when combined with these pants. The other detail I completely adore is Brie's white floral choker. It provides that tiny nod to her boho sensibilities, but it also brightens the look and brings a soft, gardeny vibe to this chic, dark style statement.
Aaaand then....there's the twins spread in Latina Magazine! Nikki and Brie rock the cover, as well as giving a fantastic interview...and wearing some seriously fabulous fashion. They kick things off with lace: Brie matched a lace halter top that I'd wear any day with wide-leg pants (like, super, extra wide!) for a daring, trendy look, while Nikki rocked a navy top with lace accents paired with high-waisted skinny pants and a hot pair of lace-up sandals.

Remember When: A Look BackĀ @ Diva-Fierce's Ring Gear Awards

Ogh..I get so nostalgic going through all these collages! I really can't believe we've had all these amazing years of Diva-Fierce and fashion and awards and memories. All the feels, loves, all the feels!
Since we've moved to the new hosting site, I've been trying to keep the history of Diva-Fierce alive and recorded for newbies to catch up on and goldies to take a hop, skip and a trip down memory lane with. I don't know who here at the site came up with the original concept of the Ring Gear Awards, but it was -and is!- an amazing fit with our nexus of wrestling and fashion; gear is the couture of the ring! And we're the only site to consistently, year after year, give great gear the call-outs and podium placings it so richly deserves, which makes the RGAs a very special and unique part of the Diva-Fierce lexicon. So, let's strap in and take a look ...all the way back to the first days of fierce when we were just a cute, tiny, fledgling website with nothing to our name but passion and a dream :)

Inspiration Board: Maryse - All About Those Shoes, 2.0

So..this fierce-shoe-makes-the-outfit thing: it doesn't have to be all about black. It can, as demo'd by Maryse, be a much lighter proposition. The blonde beauty blended (alliteration pointsssss! ;)) almond and taupe-gray for a cool-meets warm effect. If you have several coordinating neutrals that walk that line of cool milky-brown and warmed cloud, you may want to experiment with that complexity. I've envisioned this look done with all warm tones: beige, caramel and tan. Ivory would be stellar here as well. Dusty gold could even work. Now that we've got the colors sorted out, let's get on to elements. Denim shorts t if you do with the latter, do do with a strapless bra or bandeau underneath. Showing lingerie straps is hot, but it will also make this look more casual and less classy, and those are both crucial concerns when utilizing shorts, which are generally super informal anyway. To elevate this look, it takes a shoe that really has presence. This high lace-up gladiator of Maryse's is spot on: it's bold, daring and trendy. If you have a lace-up that goes this high (or even to mid-calf)  in a flat shoe, you can def do that here! Anything lower will mostly likely need some kind of a heel to be dramatic enough to give this outfit some panache (unless you own some strappy, fringed, beaded confection that a goddess accidentally dropped to earth. If you do, by all means, go with that ;)). If gladiators aren't your glass of wine, a mega-strappy sandal will do nicely. Peeptoe booties would be another fabulous choice. Even an ankle boot will work, but you're looking for something a bit formal and not minimal. "Statement bootie" is the key term. (PS if you have one of those, but only in black, go ahead and use it; just swap your top to a medium to light gray to keep the softness of the look.) Other shoe options are a lace-up wedge sandal or pretty much anything laser-cut, multi-studded (don't be seduced by crystals; they're a bit too formal for this look (omg did I really just say that?)) or tasseled. As with Dana's look, choose fierce over delicate, romantic or classic. Grab a bag of a hue that's in between that of your top and shoes, add a bold pair of earrings - in gold if your ensemble is warm, or silver if it's cool -,  throw on a pair of sunnies and go slay your day! Happy styling!

Inspiration Board: Dana - All About Those Shoes, 1.0

Sometimes, all you need is one solid shot of fierce to make everything fall into place :). Such is the case with Dana's recent outfit. Skinny denim+halter top is a so-fab-right-now combo. But what really takes this look to new heights is the studded shoes. Hello, Fierce! A dagger necklace, cuff bracelet and statement earrings are just icing on the cake. So, let's play and light our stylish fires with this idea of fierce-on-foot as the raison d'etre for a look. Because there are so few pieces involved, the outfit has to be built via carefully selected and balance elements. Take the event into consideration. For date night or a concert, do it Dana's way and pick a top with a bit of interest. Don't think full-on sequins...more like a fringe detail, interesting straps, cute pleats, a special fabric (like hammered silk), but done in a  simple tank silhouette. You're looking for a piece that's not run-of-the-mill, but isn't a stop-traffic conversation piece either. Bottoms = skinny jeans. Easy enough. However, if you have a personal vendetta against skinny jeans (hear ya!) or just plain don't feel like them today, consider slim chinos or ponte pants. Color is equally non-challenging: black, black, black! It's edgy, it's chic, it's just right. And now, the moment you've been waiting for...the zing! ...The YAAAS!....The ha-cha-cha!...The shoes! Whaddaya got, babes? Studded leather pumps? Bring 'em! Lace-up sandals? Right on! Strappy booties? Hell, yeah! Crystal or fringe accented stilettos? Spot on! If it's prim, proper and chic ...leave it home. You're here for the fierce and nothing but the fierce...so, take no prisoners. Post-shoes, throw on a bauble or two if the spirit moves you. Or don't. It's all good. Now, let's say your event is a little more chill...lunch with the girls, paint night, etc etc. So, essentially, it's the same deal...just tone the whole thing down by going with a basic top...a rib knit body-skimming tee, a slouchy tank. Add a studded wrap bracelet to bring in an extra touch of flash. If you want to split the difference between the two options, consider something like the oh-so trendy off-the-shoulder blouse. It's chic and sexy, without being overly dressy. And, as always, fierce shoes will raise it to new heights. Hope you bust out your most ferocious stilettos sometimes soon! Rock that shiz, girlfriends! XO

So...ummm...it took me legit several minutes to form words again after seeing this dress from Lana. This. Is. DIVINE. And it slays my life. The square neck, the gorgeous red shade, the intricate golden print..it's glorious in every possible way, bespeaking glamour and luxury. It is the very definition of beauty. And I can't even. Even now. Lana adds a vaguely gothic, modern counterpoint with her black nails which adds subtle interest to the look. She goes with soft lips, but a strong eye - a perfect choice to balance the bold statement of this dress.  I'm imagining fierce black shoes completing this outfit. PS The worn patina of the metal bench she is sitting on contrasts with the elegance of the gown in an interesting way. If only it could be placed in a garden!..Can you envision the photoshoot?
Maryse went with what seems to be a favored combo of taupe and almond, pairing this mock-neck halter dress with peeptoe pumps. A black bag created the contrast in this combination of modern nuetrals. If minimalism gone sexy is your thing, this is how it's done!
Renee has been playing with the oh so trendy romper quite a bit lately. This polished version has an architectural quality, due to the blazer-esque details. There's a formidable air to the piece which she counteracts with feminine sandals. Though they maintain the minimalism, they soften the strength of the romper's lines. A slim choker carries the black upwards and adds one more delicate touch to this smart, stylish ensemble.
