Velvet has been releasing a bunch of new pics to RatedV.net. It looks like some of these are sold out at the moment…but we’re going to review them anyway because FASHION :). Looking at these made me smile because they are trademark Velvet: gorgeous, sexy, fun. First up is a straightforward workout gear snap. I love how the pink piping ties these two seemingly disparate pieces together. Velvet completes the pink pop by adding a candy-hued lip. I also love the bright blue background – it sets off Velvet and her outfit perfectly. This is the kind of snap I’d pin up to remind myself to get my derriere to the gym! –it makes working out look so affirming and joyous! Next up is probably may favorite of all the new snaps. Velvet pairs a tied black “Queen” (but, of course, dahling!) tee with a denim mini skirt and rounds out the outfit with black OTK boots. This is one of those classic, spot-on pairings that just slays. It has that breezy girl-next-door grunge-fierce vibe that always gets me. Vel’s pink lip works flawlessly again here. She takes things in a more formal direction with her next snaps, a blue bodycon dress in a mesmerizing shade of bright blue. She added a bold silver choker and a cerise lip that pops beautifully against the blue. This looking-over-her-shoulder pose is stunning too! We don’t get to see her shoes, but I’m imagining silver heels. Finally, she leaves us in no doubt as to her mood with her next look, a pairing of a white tee labeled “savage” and one of her trademark ruffled mini skirts. I love how her sexy, radiant pose and expression contrasts with her shirt’s message; it conveys such a fun duality!
Angelina also took her turn with a workout snap, pairing a camo crop top with black low-waisted shorts. Angie looks amazing as usual – the warm strawberry tones in her hair are gorgeous! As I would expect of a TBP alumnus, she nails her pose as well. Now, if we could just get these ladies together in one snap, that would be some seeeeeerious gym motivation! :)

With Halloween fast approaching, here's look back at a fun little feature we did four years ago: a somewhat tongue-in-cheek guide to becoming a Superstar or Knockout for Halloween. I had a blast doing this piece...so much so that I'll be reprising it this year. Look for that to kick off in the next week :)
There is so much going on with TNA...no, Impact...no, GFW..Wrestling that I can hardly keep pace wih it all! Among the many goings on are the "One out, one in" game among the Knockouts. Angelina love asked for and was granted her release in August. She did not explain the situation further, but appears to have left the company on good terms. As always, we wish her the very best in whatever she does next! No sooner had that goodbye been said then we got a surprise "hello" from a lady I never expected to see in the ring again: Taryn Terrell! She quit sports entertainment in 2015, but seems to have found her way back to it and we're very happy she did, as Taryn has always been a super-fun performer, not to mention a stellar fashionista. We're still not sure where all this is leading the promotion formerly known as TNA, but we're excited about it...and concerned at the same time..if that emotional combo is even possible.
Psssst...new Impact photoshoot to be reviewed soon ;) Soooooo believe it or not, this is the last of the Catch-ups. I'm sort of in shock myself..kinda felt like I'd never get through it all :).
Nikki kicks off the ending with a bright royal blue iteration of the Self Portrait lace dress we've previously seen her wear in white. I like the piece just as much in this shade! The gorgeous lace is feminine and lighthearted, perfect as a sundress when styled with neutral wedge sandals, as Nikki as here, or as a fancier piece when done with pointy pumps or more formal sandals, as we've seen her do in the past. Next up is a super-cute pairing that infuses the best of now with some trademark Nikki stylings. She paired a sleeveless lace peplum blouse with a modern-vintage aesthetic with black skinny jeans. The black ribbon at her neck makes a fun way to connect her top and pants. While Nikki has used it like a necklace, with a loose knot, it could also be done in a bow to up the throwback vibe. Red pointy pumps add that dash of Nikki-esque spice and really pop the look. I wouldn't have minded seeing her carry that color upward with a bright lip. This polka dotted mermaid midi skirt gave me immediate #tbt vibes to the Bella's late 2013 50's pin-up era withere they were all about the high waists, polka dots and hair scarf bows. Nikki keeps the look a little more polished here, pairing the skirt with a simple black scoopneck top and a slim gold choker. A burgundy and gold chain-strap purse adds a bit of modern attitude and brings in her trademark shot of red. She continues her black-and-white streak by pairing this minimalist ruffled sheath with simple black ankle-strap heels and a black tote for Bridal Fashion Week. I love the pristine, edited feeling of this look - it acts as a palate-cleanser after all the lace, pleats and other embellishments we've seen lately. Sometimes, the plainest ensemble has the strongest impact! Her trusty Prada boots are back in evidence with yet another look, this time a super-chill long-sleeved sheath dress from Veronica Beard. The bold presence of the ankle boots injects some attitude into this relaxed look. I'm still loving the chain handle on her bag, although I would have loved if she's gone for a chocolate, nude or mixed-browns hued one to tie in with her shoes. Ogh..I get so nostalgic going through all these collages! I really can't believe we've had all these amazing years of Diva-Fierce and fashion and awards and memories. All the feels, loves, all the feels!
Since we've moved to the new hosting site, I've been trying to keep the history of Diva-Fierce alive and recorded for newbies to catch up on and goldies to take a hop, skip and a trip down memory lane with. I don't know who here at the site came up with the original concept of the Ring Gear Awards, but it was -and is!- an amazing fit with our nexus of wrestling and fashion; gear is the couture of the ring! And we're the only site to consistently, year after year, give great gear the call-outs and podium placings it so richly deserves, which makes the RGAs a very special and unique part of the Diva-Fierce lexicon. So, let's strap in and take a look ...all the way back to the first days of fierce when we were just a cute, tiny, fledgling website with nothing to our name but passion and a dream :) We're getting into the holiday spirit this FashionHap by starting off with a pair of burgundy looks.
Eden kicks it off with an on-trend sweater dress in a lovely, warm wine shade. This is a color I adore all winter: it's festive, flattering and looks amazing with any neutral, as well as with bright blues and true reds. Sweater dresses were 70's staples, hence they're rediscovered popularity. I give Eden props for the tights - it's a classic look we don't see much from the Divas and KOs and it makes a shorter dress much more comfortable on cooler days! We don't get a look at her shoes here, but I'm envisioning pointy-toe pumps...in suede :) This is a standout look from Charlotte: the fit-and-flare (perhaps we should now call it the fit-and-Flair silhouette? ;) ) is FLAWLESS for her and my past-top-of-the-charts fave. (Wishlist: that she'd do a version of her gear like this!!) The studs on her( super-hot-rn! leather top are tasteful and add some spice to the piece, while her deep red jeans bring a pretty flash of color. The basic theme of the ensemble is dark, but much more fun! Suede OTK boots finish her look off, making it powerful and , while the play of texture between suede and leather adds an intriguing contrast. Absolutely fabulous styling here! Jojo caught our eyes in this wonderful gray A-line dress. Her style can sometimes get too cutesy for her youthful look. This piece is simpler, a bit more mature and consequently chic, without looking at all too old for her. It's a fantastic choice! She styled simply with a bead bracelet and understated locket. Her rose-burgundy lip shade adds a soft hint of color and brings precisely the required pop. I would love a playful, fun shoe here, something Sophia Webster or Charlotte Olympia, that lets Jojo's personality shine. In case you still were hesitating or unsure about whether you truly, madly, deeply NEED the Impact Knockouts 2016 calendar, the Impact Wrestling Instagram page has showcased a few more shots from it. And it looks like it is everything we guessed and dreamed it would be: HOT pics, killer neon colors and fab shots! Madison rocks a lime green bkini top paired with a barely-there purple swim skirt. Rebel makes her presence known in a foil-print string top and cute turquoise bottoms. Jade goes for some of her coolest fashion ever: a shimmering monokini paired with a jaw-dropping pair of strappy booties..oh my! Love those! Christy shines like the sun in a yellow bikini paired with print bottoms and rocks a bunch of gorgeous jewelry (that's how you layer necklaces, folks!)
