Coral pink was the order of the day for early summer - both Brandi and Brooke used the shade in their looks. Brandi was spot on-trend with an off-the-shoulder, boxy cropped top, accented with floral embroidery. White denim kept the theme light and summer-y. Naturally, my favorite parts are her banana yellow tote (love that!) and her citrus-hued sandals! They carried the color throughout the outfit flawlessly and are a perfect example of mixing without matching. Brooke went with a boxy striped tank, which she paired with light wash blue denim. Like Brandi, she added interest to the look with her accessories: floral printed sandals (I just love the mix of florals with stripes!) and a fringed caramel messenger bag. The caramel is a wonderful way to pick up the warm tones of the coral (I often mix brown tones with orange and peach shades for the same reason) and I love the movement and boho vibe of the fringe. I would probably have gone with a similar shade for the wide choker, instead of the harsher black. Next from Brooke is a super simple pairing of a taupe tee and distressed white denim. It's as casual as it gets... until she added a shot of fierce via her coordinating suede lace-up sandals! Along with her simple gold bar necklace, they shift this look into "off-duty model" vibes. Also, I give her serious props for walking in those with her son on her hip - that is #BalanceGoals for sure. She switched the theme entirely for her next outing and goes Americana chic in this striped tee paired with wide-leg pants. I love this classic navy-and-white combo. There's always something ineffably sophisticated about a well-made wide-leg and they work perfectly here to elevate this simple tee. Brooke finished the look with coordinating caramel sandals and again reached for her fringed bag - here, the warm caramel acts as a contrast to the cool navy - to cement the classic vibe (and also offer a commodious carrier for all her baby necessities, I suspect ;) There's something to be said for pieces that fuse stylishness and practicality! Her sultry side shines through in her next look, which pairs a black off-the-shoulder tee with a sweetheart neckline and white cut-off denim. She makes this super-hot look much sweeter with her accessories, though: a floral choker and her floral printed sandals. The femininity plays fabulously against the sexier elements; it's an unusual contrast, but a successful and intriguing one!

Finally - I am back to FashionHaps again! Sorry it's been such a drought, loves! XO
Barbie took the pajamas-as-daywear trend to heart with this LBD from Meshki Boutique. The drapey shape and wrap styling give a strong impression of a silk bathrobe. I can't say this would be my first choice to grab off a hanger and wear (also I would need to glue it in place for fear of a strong wind), but Barbie pulls it off, mainly because of the simplicity of her styling. Fabulous, minimalist ankle straps, super-slim necklaces and pin-straight hair complete the look - nothing to get in the way of the dress' unmistakable sexy statement. And that's enough to keep it on the side of [daringly!] chic. Next up is a super casual pairing of a black bodysuit and cutoff jean shorts. I like Barbie's choice of a light denim wash here - it keeps the look from being overly dark and autumnal. I'm also a huge fan of her knee-high lace-up gladiators; the drama of the shoes gives this simple look a big dose of cool. Barbie completed the look with a cowboy hat, which look fantastic on her. I would have preferred the breezy, it-girl vibes of a Panama hat with her sandals and paired ankle booties with this Western-style head-wear. It was back to formality with her glittering Kourvoiseur dress. The patterning, sequins and slim straps gives me something of a Gatsby-era vibe. I applaud Barbie's decision to pull her hair back - the refined styling let the gown have center stage. We've seen similar pieces often enough before, but this is nicely done, as we'd expect from Barbie. I'm hoping she completed the styling with her nude ankle straps sandals, but they might be the clear sandals she's favored so much lately. I'm hoping it's the former. The same hope exists with her next look, a white mock-neck cropped top paired with beige cropped pants. The color, silhouette and lace-up detail all combine to make these pants a hit with me. Her top is a bit less so, due the thin-ness of the fabric allowing the edge of her bra to be extremely visible. It breaks the line of the outfit and looks somewhat unkempt, which is unfortunate because overall, the look exudes an easy, modern sensuality. As a bonus, it would translate nicely to fall with the addition of beige ankle booties. She went with white and cropped on top again for her next look, but the styling of this piece is quite different: rather than a minimalist tee, this is a feminine blouse with trendy flowing sleeves and a graceful v-neck. Barbie reprised the flowy-ness on the bottom with wide-leg pants in a cranberry shade. I just can't commit to the Fandom Of The Front-Slit pants, but leaving that aside, this color is magnificent and the high-waisted, wide-leg style is has a soft elegance. There's a good bit of motion and fabric in the combination of these two pieces, making the strongly defined waist a crucial aspect of the pairing. It acts as a grounding point for all the swirl of the sleeves and pants. Barbie's nude ankle straps complete the look, which works nicely. White sandals would have been quite fab here as well. Gail got to meet up with a number of her friends this spring and there was some serious fashion involved! Before we get to that, though, Eva was doing some fun fashion things, as well.
First, she's keeping her own NEM line trend-heavy with this pretty striped choker top. It melds both on-point stripes and the smoking hot, not-going-anywhere off-shoulder silhouette. I love the fresh, summery feel of the piece, which Eva enhanced by pairing it with beige denim. That color story always makes me think of sun-soaked beach promenades! In a related NEM note, the company has recently introduced active-wear! Primarily in black and white with futuristic sheer and satin-y contrasting panels, it has the same modern, confident vibe as the rest of the NEM line. So, def be sure you check that out :) Next, she received the opportunity to walk the runway for made-in-the-USA evening-wear brand Stello. The company launched its Sir Stello menswear line this spring and Eva modelled this black suit on the catwalk. Overall I really enjoy the way this piece was styled, with the wide leather corset belt (although I could have done without the dangling suspender straps) and the pants tucked in to Eva's lace-up booties. Even thought the clothes are masculine, the way they are accessorized and used highlights the feminine form and fluidity. The contrast feels surprising, without being tacky or aiming for shock value and I could 100% see this styling being used like off-runway. Gail met up with Christy and Brooke around Wrestlemania and the ladies three were looking fine! I need to just take a moment and rave over what an amazing job Brooke has done - her post-baby body is unbelievable! And this pretty ivory dress highlights every curve! I love her bold eyes and soft rose lip shade. And I reeeaaally wish I had gotten to see her shoes. Actually, that's true for all three ladies. Work on that for next time for me, huh, Lovelies? ;) j/k. I'm thrilled we got to see some fashion, any fashion, from them all actually. Christy paired a feminine and on-trend blush choker-cutout blouse with her usual dose of rocker edge via a metallic gold pencil skirt. I love how she always injects something unexpected and which feels very much "her" into a look! Gail looked classy and chic in a blakc satin dress with a gorgeous strapless silhouette and sweetheart neckline. A gold statement collar necklace ramped up her look. Is this #GirlSquadGoals or what? This simple outfit from Barbie packed a lot of impact, so much that we did an Inspiration Board look with it. There's just something cool and chic about the combo of gray with black! The gray cropped sweater exudes coziness, with the shorter silhouette providing just a hint of flirtation. Even more fun is the foldover detail at the collar - I love distinctive touches like that! Barbie paired this Intermix piece with Frame denim jeans. Her OTKs, which add the shot of fierceness to this look -as they always do! - are from Sam Edelman, a surprisingly budget-friendly choice from Barbie, but which is a jazz. I always get a thrill to realize that I can own the same piece as a favorite diva, without mortgaging my first-born for it ;).
Vests were the order of this particular autumn day in the Bellaverse. Brie combined a fur one (since it's Brie, I have no doubt of it's being faux fur!) with black leggings and black suede OTKs. There's a pleasing simplicity to this monochromatic look, which she breaks up with her burgundy leather choker (I could have been perfectly happy to have that in black as well) and her desert rose lip, which brings a lovely flush of warmth to this ensemble, without the harshness of red. Nikki went for a similar shade, with the same gorgeous effect, as she paired a ruffled cropped vest with studded leather pants. The contrast of the feminine (and spot on-trend) ruffles with the tougher vibe of the studs is stellar and gives the outfit its je ne se quoi. Like Brie, she includes a choker (barely visible in this shot - sorry ;(). Hers is black and works flawlessly. I'm also a fan of the way her dark nails bring a gothic edge to the look. It's wonderful to see Brooke back on our scene, this time repping autumn-hot houndstooth via this cropped top, which we also saw her wear in Dec 2015. While she matched it with a skirt then, this time, she re-styled it with leggings and a tuxedo jacket. the whole look had a modern, graphic vibe, with the houndstooth creating an almost pixelated quality. It's a very different feel from the sexy, schoolgirl-esque aura she drew from the piece last time! This is such a great demo in how to re-use and re-work wardrobe items - something I am a huge fan of! Her metallic pumps add a perfect contrasting hint of flash. Cathy attended NXT Takeover in this stunning blue-meet-sheer mini dress. The intricate, delicate pattern is beautiful, especially done in this incredible electric blue! She paired it with OTKs, which have become a fashion staple over the last few years, with a particular resurgence this season. They bring a nice twist of attitude to this sweet-n-chic frock. We have a bonanza’s worth of fashion to cover over the next couple of days, so hang to your fedoras, honeys! We’ve got boatloads of Bellas, and bits of so much more.
We’re kicking it off with Maria, who let out her inner Taylor Swift (did you ever think you’d see that comparison? :)) as she topped her boldly belted kabooty shorts and glittering brassiere with a sparkly bomber jacket. I still haven’t gotten over my fascination with how casually cool bombers look, even though they are literfreakinally everywhere lately and I love the sparkly girly thing of adding sequins to the look, so yes, I’m all in for this piece. I can see it restyled in SO many ways. And remember – there are those holiday things coming up soon and sparkles = yes. This first pic I ever saw of TNA’s Allie outside the ring was an Insta shot of her during that 30 second time period where she held the KO’s title. She has on a floral-printed peplum top and I was like “whoa – this is not how I usually envision Knockout’s fashion”. She has stayed true to that not-your-standard-KO path in a second peplum top and pencil skirt combo done in classic black and paired with a bevy of pearl-like beads. Her look comes off as youthful and fun and, as surprising as it is to see this kind of subtler sultriness coming from a KO, I can’t say I’m not intrigued by it. Rock on with your classy self, Allie! This momentary pit stop in Brooke-land is not so much a fashion review as this beautiful lady is in her unmentionables, but I had to register the screeching halt I came to when I saw this pic – like omg her body looks AMAZING. And this is just a few weeks after giving birth. Like, how does she *do* that? I’m speechless. She gives you some of her tips on her Instagram, so go check that out (@realbrookeadams). And also, I can’t help but thinking: if she can do this - after having a baby – than I have zero excuse for not working out. Less than zero. And we get to check in with Rosa, also with her post-baby body, also looking amazing and incredibly chic as well in this black midi-length dress. I love the texture provided by the sheer detailing and the way she kept the look simple and subtle by completing it with black peeptoe pumps. You could easily make this outfit cold-weather-appropriate by topping it with a cropped band jacket or draping a long wool dress coat over your shoulders. And now…let the Bellas begin! They covered Muscle and Fitness in September as part of their wave of promotions for the Total Bellas series on E!, which premiered on Oct. 5. The concept was simple: two hot, fit ladies donning blue and black. The execution was successful, as the twins looked just as fabulous as we would expect. They gave us two variations on the color combo. The first included boy shorts and simple sports bras, while the second paired string-accented bottoms with a squared-out silhouette top for Brie and bikini-style bottoms with a zip-front halter top for Nikki. They also switched hairstyle from refined half up-dos to loose and flowing. Strappy black sandals finished Brie’s look, while Nikki finished hers with nude peeptoe pumps. The workout gear+ heels combo may not be especially practical for actually being in the gym, but as a photoshoot styling, it is killer! First of all, can we just a take a moment to appreciate how unbelievably gorgeous this photo of Brooke and her new baby boy is? Her baby looks so adorably sweet...complete and total daaaawwwwwws. And Brooke looks beyond beautiful; she looks angelic! I'm so happy for her #WarmFuzzies.
Second of all, we seem to be getting some summer-on-blink-mode weather around here- it's fall, no wait, it's summer, no wait... - so if you're getting that as well, now is a good time to talk about some warm-into-not-so-warm looks. I love this pic of Summer doing some R & R in her paisley slipdress and sandals. Dressing down a more formal dress by pairing it with flats is an amazing look, and it works just as well with prints as with solids. Summer's thong (dear Autocorrect, Summer is wearing a "thong" sandal, not a "thing") has a touch of embellishment for an extra texture, which I'm definitely on board with. But no probs if you don't have an embellished pair; go for plain - they'll give you a fab, cool-girl vibe just as well. Brooke's gorgeous dress is a dark floral print, which is a super hot trend for fall. Additionally, this trapeze-style is an amazing choice. The flowy fabric is comfortable (air flow, ya know ;)) and just kisses the body here and there, making it sexy, but also incredibly chic. It's a silhouette that's fantastic for the slim and the curvy alike. We don't get to see Brooke's shoe choice, but I'm imagining pretty flat sandals that bring in an extra pop of color. I'm a massive fan of how Brooke made this ensemble thoroughly of-the-moment by adding a leather+metal choker as an accessory. Definitely consider reprising that look! Don't shy away from colored velvet as a possible material, either; it's mad trendy and a fab way to work with the colors in the print. Colored leather or lace would work nicely as well. Both these looks would transition quite easily to fall (#Bonus ..don't you just looooove pieces that can be styled in multiple ways?!). Throw a jacket over the top (think cropped denim over Summer's paisley frock and a military jacket over Brooke's floral dress. Alternatively, a classic leather biker jacket would add a nice touch of attitude to either piece). And swap the sandals for ankle booties: tan suede for Summer's look or black leather - perhaps with a sprinkling of studs - for Brooke's. Happy styling, loves! With wearing gold being in the headlines every day due to the Rio Olympics, I thought it would be fun to take a look at how gold fits into a wardrobe ...even when one isn't able to pull off a full-in-double-back and stick it ;). The ladies of WWE and TNA have definitely managed to find some use for it! And why not? Gold conveys so much: luxury, glamour, fierceness, boldness. It's metallic shimmer enhances nealry any combination, but it's powerful enough in it's own right to provide the statement for an otherwise simple look. Barbie's shining monokini would definitely catch some eyes at the beach, but it's her pointy-toe pumps that win big with me! Shoes are one of my favorite ways to do metallic; they act as a neutral that's not black, bringing brightness and a touch of glam to any outfit. They're easy to blend as well: coordinate with your jewelry, or the color tone of the outfit. Sasha's statement dress is a flawless choice for cocktail hour. The gold really enlivens the black bodice and classic silhouette. Since weddings have been front and center around here lately, if you're wondering about this piece: yes, it could be worn to a night semi-formal or black-tie optional event ...I'd suggest going for a statement necklace that doesn't say "BOSS", though ;). Eva's metallic gold pants really spiked her crop top+skinnies pairing and would be a fab option for a night at the bar. I'm also a fan of her gold-accented sandals; the metallic bar is looking like it's a thing right now and the fierce flash it creates makes a strappy sandal like this super-versatile. Michelle let her glam shine with this sequined tank top. A sequined piece or two is always a good thing for a girl to have in her wardrobe for adding formality to everything from denim to pencil skirts. I especially love how Michelle paired this top with pearl accents - the creamy shimmer plays well against the bright sparkle of the gold. Barbie also showed her love for gold with this elegant metallic embroidered dress. Gold goes through various iterations from the bold, over-the-top sheen of lame to subtler usages, such as this. If you're building a wardrobe, stay with something along these lines - artisanal elegance will remain chic and current long after many envelope-pushing trends have faded. Eve went for the gold in this lace-up-detailed bikini and rocked it - proof that gold works as well in two pieces as in one. If you're mixing solid gold separates in real life, you can soften the blaze of the metallic by topping them with a neutral blazer or cardigan. Conversely, you can bring massive sparks to an all-neutral look by topping them with a gold coat, a la Maryse. It's amazing how many shades can be enhanced by gold: black, navy, red, burgundy, ivory, white, almond and khaki can all handle a shot of golden glimmer quite nicely. If a true "glimmer" is all you're craving, try doing gold Brooke's way: with delicate jewelry. Consider a body chain with right outfit (generally simple canvases that let the detail of the chain stand out), or multiple, layered slim necklaces. Lana proves that gold isn't just for pumps: metallic sandals are definite requirements for summer, and all-season dressy events. Pair them with a gown, pair them with destroyed denim..or get crazy and pair them with a strappy, bandage monokini as you lounge poolside at a five-star resort, sipping champagne and plotting which corner of the universe you're going to take over next :). In many cases, raw, gorgeous gold is best done in controlled brush strokes, rather than with a paint roller, but sometimes, letting your gold flag fly is better yet! Maria always leans toward making a yuuuge statement, so her choice of a full-on sequined mini dress is just what we'd expect from her fashionable Ladyship. Proms, holiday and late night parties and being leader of the KO's division all lend themselves to unadulterated glamour. Then again, maybe you want to play up gold's luxury in your look. For that, take a tip from Taryn and pair it with rich, seductive fur - a vest for spring and fall or a coat for winter. If you're feeling like a rock star, keep following Taryn's lead and add a black fringe necklace or dark, grunge-y hematite pieces and a pair of OTK boots. If you're feeling more "heiress", go for a crystal jewelry and classic sandals. Either way, show some Olympic spirit and go for gold in your fashion!
