Ogh..I get so nostalgic going through all these collages! I really can't believe we've had all these amazing years of Diva-Fierce and fashion and awards and memories. All the feels, loves, all the feels!
Since we've moved to the new hosting site, I've been trying to keep the history of Diva-Fierce alive and recorded for newbies to catch up on and goldies to take a hop, skip and a trip down memory lane with. I don't know who here at the site came up with the original concept of the Ring Gear Awards, but it was -and is!- an amazing fit with our nexus of wrestling and fashion; gear is the couture of the ring! And we're the only site to consistently, year after year, give great gear the call-outs and podium placings it so richly deserves, which makes the RGAs a very special and unique part of the Diva-Fierce lexicon. So, let's strap in and take a look ...all the way back to the first days of fierce when we were just a cute, tiny, fledgling website with nothing to our name but passion and a dream :)

So, it's all over the map in fashion this time around - we have everything from trench coats to bikinis! Yayness :-)
First up is Jojo in a minimalist bright red dress. This piece is vibrant, feminine, classy and - with its' high-neck halter styling - spot on trend, making it exactly what we'd expect from a ring announcer. What really made this outfit pop, though, are those shoes!! Black ankle strap sandals are always going to rock my world, forever and ever and over again...but the mixed media on this pair is a stand-out detail that adds extra va-va-voom to this look! Nattie prepped for her Hawaiian trip in this leather-sleeved Burberry trench coat (thanks to FashionOfTheDivas for the ID). Paired with leggings and peeptoe boots, it makes her look like a super-spy! And honestly, who doesn't want to feel like a super-spy sometimes, right? Nattie's looks are always amazing; she contrasts simple elements so well...and she never forgets that spike of fierce! For those of you who loved and adored Taryn, she is around and chillin' with her bestie, Brooke! While T has re-focused her life, it still makes me happy to "touch base" with her and see that she's doing well! Don't you love her boldly striped bikini? It's so cute! I'm also loving the bright color of Brooke's coral swimsuit. There's just something fitting about gorgeous, saturated color on bright, scorching days! Speaking of which, I also love bright color for the gym; it gets me motivated! Summer paired this bright halter top with capri leggings (big fan of those, too!). Multi-colored sneakers finish this look and the way they blend the outfit is complex and interesting. The neon orange and purple don't match the candy pink in Summer's top, but they balance it out. The similar intensity of the colors and the unique harmony they comprise works quite nicely. Now, that's the way to bring some fire to your gym time! So, we ttly loved and adored WWE's recent bikini-laden gallery of hot bodies. Truly, we did. In addition to bikinis, though, warm days and sunshine get us thinking about muscles and fitness and sweating and all that sexy stuff ;). And we thought that maybe a more inspirational gallery was in order. We envisioned something that appealed not just to our aesthetic appreciation, but also to our sense of goal-setting and challenge, something that reminds us that a little hard work can bring us that keister-kicking attitude we've always craved and get high on when we hit the gym. To that end, we collected our own gallery, which focuses on the lady superstars in their down and dirty moments - the ones where they don't just *look* hot, but actually *get* hot. These selections are all about the sneakers and sports bras. ...Ok, I think one pair of stilettos snuck in (how did that happen? *innocent face*). If it involved sweat, boxing gloves, taping up, stretching out or pumping iron, we snagged it, including a couple of TapOut 'shoot shots from Charlotte and Alicia (and, um...are there any mooooore of those, Mr. Styles?). We even scrounged up a shot from the Silver Snap Award winning buddy 'shoot from Natalya and Beth Phoenix from a couple years ago. Remember that one? So much love for that simple, fab set!
Wrestlecon came to Dallas the same week as WrestleMania, so it was truly a wrestling takeover of Texas! It also brought out stars by the airplane load...which meant more fashion for us! :) Oh, darn.
Brooke showed off two outfits at Wrestlecon. The first was this wine sheath, which she paired with lace-up gladiator heels (shove over, Kendall :)). I love the warmth of the burgundy-with-caramel combo - doesn't that just sound so inviting and decadent? A lariat necklace and a pretty headband brought out the bohemian feel to this earthy color pairing. Next up was Brooke's take on the L(ong)BD, as she went with a black maxi dress, finished off with a beaded statement necklace. The look is uncomplicated, but amazing! I also commend Brooke wholeheartedly for her adorable and modest poses. I love how she's let us know about her forthcoming arrival, but doesn't make her belly the center of attention. It's refreshing and beautiful to see how's she's handled this. I didn't know it was possible to respect her more than I did previously...but I do. Very best wishes, Brooke...as always! Also during WM week came NBC's Summer Press Day, which included Barbie Blank-Souray, wearing a stunning midi LBD. The color and silhouette of this sheath is ultra-classic, but the straps at the bodice create the impression of a sexy cutout, making it oh so modern! It's a perfect representation of the best of Barbie's style - chic, but with a dash of sass! She finished the look with au courant slim ankle strap sandals of the SW Nudist or SL Jane variety - flawless choice! We've seen Natalya's incredible HoF dress...but did you know she topped it with a leather jacket en route to the venue? Tres cool! Even cooler is who she ran in to: Velvet Sky, who was in town for Wrestlecon. Velvet paired this graphic print tunic with black leggings for her trademark grunge-glam look. I love the flutter sleeve on her tunic - sooo pretty! Rose pink lips and nails give the whole ensemble a bright pop. One of the interesting fashion features of WrestleMania this year was just how many looks involved white shirts! White is always classic for spring, but some years it's a bit more to the forefront than others and this year is one of the former. No less than four Divas (sorry WWE, it's more workable than "Superstars") were seen sporting the look. Most of the ladies chose it for meet-n-greets or similar events, while Brie wore it out an about in Dallas. Eva Marie paired her classic white slouchy tee with black denim, OTK's and a cropped jacket. The jacket really pulls this look together. The whole pairing isn't ground breaking, but it's solid, cool, casual style, totally event-appropriate and works perfectly. Becky went with a pretty overlay tee matched with black jeans. I like that she chose a top with some visual interest; the flowy quality of the top is graceful and unexpected and makes a nice contrast with the tougher texture of the denim. Her chain-like bracelet injects a bit of attitude. Tamina skipped her tough-chic style sensibilities for a refined look, pairing this black blazer with her white tee. It looks like denim formed the bottom half of her outfit, as well. Her slim sliver necklace elevates her look still more. As with Eva's outfit, this pairing isn't earth-shattering, but it's completely appropriate and well-executed, which always wins points from me! Brie's more casual look involved a white, cropped tank, paired with destroyed skinny denim and pristine white sneakers. With the Divas, we don't get to see really stylish looks that include sneakers, even though it's a strong fashion trend right now. Generally, they save sneakers for gym time or non-fashion moments, so it's really amazeballs to see Brie working them with her usual stellar sense or style and completely nailing this look. This is how you casual without being boring and sneakers without looking like you just rolled out fo bed and threw on whatever was on your floor :)
So this is Paige's semi-standard black-on-black look, but I really like her use of the plunge front top here. She's not showing much skin with the rest of her outfit, which keeps the look classy, and the deep-v acts as the one dramatic element. This is exactly how a deep v should be done.
Right after black, the next most classic color is red! It's hard to go wrong with a vibrant LRD, like the one Maria's rocking here in a v modelesque pose. Wouldn't you love to see a photoshoot in that...perhaps with a pair of killer black heels. #Daydreams I also ttly adore her next look - it's great to see the ladies do causal looks too. I enjoy the mix! The roll-tab sleeves, which are quite hot atm, make me think this is a silk shirt. The roll tab is incredibly helpful for keeping them in place. If that's true, I'm in heaven. Silk+denim? Oh yaaaaas! What a fabulous mix of textures: luxurious, flowy silk, and tough, hardworking woven cotton make a glorious casual-chic pairing. It's hard to tell from the lighting if this is black or navy, but it matters not. They are equally amazeballs in this instance. It looks to me like Becky is seriously stepping up her style game! She's paired a graphic tee with patched jeans (the fabric showing through the tears in the denim looks super cool!) and completed the look with these wrap knee boots by Free People ( and almost sold out at Asos). This whole outfit comes together flawlessly. It has great cohesiveness, in terms of colors and elements, even though it looks like it isn't trying hard at all. Brava, Becks. Oh, this American Apparel bodysuit! It's going to be as famous as that studded crisscross top of Nikki's that pretty much the whole Divas' Division wore at one time or other. Charlotte excavated it for this recent tv appearance. She took a much different route to styling it than has been done previously. Now that the warmer weather is here, have you got bikini bods on your mind? Whether its getting one or ogling one, the Big Dub has you covered with their latest collection of bikini'd divas, curated from the ladies' Instagram postings. We've added a couple of our own finds as well ...because...bikinis! Ready to get blasted? Blue is hot this year according to the divas, as no less than three of them rocked that color. Mandy showed off this breezy crosshatch string style. The color play of the hot pink piping is just fab! Nikki went for a glorious cobalt shade that is killer! Equally killer is the cut-out center, held together with slim horizontal straps. Oh. My. Naturally, she finished off the look in style with black leather sandals. She can even make a neck brace look hot. #IAmNotWorthyBows. I love the graduated dot styling of Eva Marie's classic white bikini. That pop-art detail lends a very mod vibe to the piece. With denim shorts and her red hair, this pic immediately makes me think of Independence Day! Summer hopped on the fringe trend with this goooooorgeous deep periwinkle blue top, paired with black string bottoms. Mixing and matching is just plain fun! I'm in love with her classy peeptoe wedges - completely magnificent silhouette! The oval cutouts on Brie's bikini are the first thing that make it stand out...va-va-vroom! How tantalizing are those? The second can't-miss-it detail is that mesmerizing bright emerald color! This shade has just come back on fashion's radar after a number of years away and its return is oh so welcome :). Rosa shows off a classic black bikini with a ring detail accent. You can never go wrong with black! It's alwaaaaaays chic.
