Charlotte gave us a full back view of her black sequin cape during her time in Shenzhen, China. I love when she gives us still like this – it really lets me appreciate all the detail in her gear designs and there is a lot of it! Like the rest of the fashion world, I’m obsessed with flowers at the moment, so the embroidered ones on the back of this cape have me drooling! They’re so gorgeous and the color-scheme is crave-worthy, especially set against the black shimmer, which highlight the mix of green, blue and lime flawlessly. Where can I get a duster like this, pretty please? (Ahem…looking at you, WWE Shop!).
Emma’s time off yielded a fair number of fun looks. Here, we seeing her staying true to her love of colorful prints in this royal blue maxi dress. The fact that the print is confined to certain areas of the piece, instead of being all-over, helps it to feel more polished and not overwhelming. She happens to be barefoot in this shot, but I especially like that this breezy dress would lend itself perfectly to flat sandals during the summer months, as well as to ankle booties in the fall. A number of divas have become devotes of Agaci Store in recent months. Gail is the latest to jump on board, as she wears this golden yellow set, pairing wide-leg pants with a matching lace blouse. The combination of flowing pants like these with a slim top is always incredibly chic. On top of that, I adore Gail in intense colors and I adore yellow, so this look is pretty much a lovefest for me from stem to stern :). I also need to call out her hairstyle here – the side part, the amayyzzzzing volume: it’s absolutely stunning! Simple gold hoops add a hint of flash to this look. We don’t see her shoes, but nude or metallic pumps would be high on my list. The sweet sunshine is gone and full-on FIERCE is in for Gail’s latest in-ring look. This reminds me of the leather bodysuit gear she used a few years ago that slayed our world, except this time, it’s done in a knit and the plunge front is filled with racy fishnet mesh. Daaayyyuuuuum. Girlfriend knows how to kill it! Her coordinating net OTK’s -from Agaci store – ensure that the killage is complete from head to toe. Smoky eyes and a pale lip give her outfit center stage. The volume in her hair is just as gorgeous the second time around. I’ll brb – I have to run get a winch to haul my jaw off the ground.

I’ve been working super hard on a massive new Melange post. Coming this week for ya, loves! XO
Maria was cool and casual in her black and red graphic tee and leggings. I love how she put a rocker-cool spin on this look with her leather vest and, most of all, those super hot ankle boots! A little hardware always gets my attention ;). For her summer tv appearance, she ditched casual for glam, showing off this silver sequined dress with a tulip front. The cutesy vibe of her lipstick-kiss pumps wouldn’t have been my first choice as a pairing from a fashion standpoint, but they’re a perfect way to convey her character, so I’m giving them the ok here. They definitely add a whimsical touch to this fancy piece, which makes the look stand out from the ordinary. She doubled down on that theme with her next look, a pairing of black kabooty shorts with a sequined Betty Boop tee and lipstick-kiss leather jacket in blush. The whole ensemble is so over-the-top and almost cartoonish that only Maria could pull this off successfully. Her massive, fearless personality carries this look: it doesn’t wear her, she wears it. And she channels it into a faux serious sexy lovefest. I’m completely in awe of how she makes something so wrong seem exactly right. And she earns bonus points for the on-trend fishnets. We saw Maryse wear this BCBG cape dress alone with nude pointy pumps and layered over a sheer piece with Rockstud pumps, but here she lighten the look up by completing it with Nudist ankle strap sandals. They have a barely-there quality (hence the name ;)) which really highlights the sleek softness of this dress. I’m also 100% in for her self-wrapped pony, which looks amazing on her and is rapidly becoming one of my favorite hairstyles. I also want to express my delight for Maryse and Miz and their forthcoming bundle of joy. Congrats to them! Are you ready for super-simple? How about being a boxer, à la Summer? The only prop you really need is a pair of boxing gloves – check out Amazon for an affordable pair (like these. Note that the weight and color make a big difference in the price). Then, grab a hoodie, a sports bra, running shorts, a towel and a water bottle. Summer went with bright neon colors, which adds intensity to the look and makes it stand out. Alternatively, Sasha’s snaps form this same shoot were done in carbon grays and black, with just one pop of deep purple, so consider that option if you’re feeling a bit badder :). Last item: sneakers! Pick up an authentic pair (like these) or use any pair of high-top, lightweight ones you already own (no flatforms please :)). Brush up on your air-punching skills before the big day and be sure to finish the look with plenty of attitude ‘cuz you know you’re a knockout, right? ;) Ok, how easy was that?
This is one of the simpler looks we’ve seen from Eva Marie: she pairs a white button down top with destroyed blue denim. I love the way she’s styled her top by layering it over a bodysuit, instead of the more expected semi-sheer shirt over bra look. This keeps the modernity, but adds class and sophistication, especially since Eva left only the top two buttons of her blouse undone, letting the sexy lacing details of her bodysuit be subtext rather than a focal point. The styling is a fantastic way to transition the sultry summer bodysuit+jeans look to fall, as well as a wonderful way to make use of the fact that so many white shirts today are at the very least semi-transparent (which is a pet peeve of mine that I won’t rant about now ;)). Eva uses fierce sandals to complete this look with panache. She ramps up the seduction with her next ensemble, an off-the-shoulder graphic tee with a fab biker-punk vibe with gray destroyed denim and strappy black sandals. Her shoe choice elevates this cool look dramatically. For fall, the sandals could be swapped for pointy ankle boots. If this floral bikini looks familiar, it’s because we’ve also seen Emma wear it. The piece (now sold out) was offered through Eva’s NEM line. I love it just as much on Eva as I did on Emma.
I also love this pale lemon sundress on Gail! How incredibly pretty is this piece? Not only is there the gorgeous color, there is the feminine sweetheart neckline, fit-and-flare shape and enchanting lace hem. Everything about this dress is lighthearted and joyful. She paired it with beige espadrilles for a look that is quintessentially summer. She added a touch of flash with her hoop earrings, but her best accessory may be that glass of white wine ;). (unless it’s champagne, in which case it’s def her best accessory!). I couldn't resist the opportunity to yabber on about this look. It's #tbt Maria posted from her previous run with WWE and the look is classic Maria! Studded leather pants paired with a floral gemstone bra topped with a cropped fur jacket - it's 100% dramatic and glamorous and daring! She accessorized with a wide studded waist belt, a bold pedant and hardware-embellished chunky-heeled black leather boots. It's a reminder of Maria looking like a total rockstar, a look she excels at. On days when you feel like setting your onstage persona free, look no further than Maria for some inspiration :) On a much more somber, but equally praiseworthy note, Maria earned her college degree this year - congrats, girl! (Yes, in addition to working for the Co. formerly known as TNA and WWE and doing who knows what else - she's a busy lady!) I love seeing her dedication to her goal and the hard work she put in to pursuing it. It's as inspiring as her fashion is! She wore a blue bodycon dress for the occasion, finished with de rigueur nude pumps. She has a wonderful ability to change her style to be appropriate for the occasion, something I very much admire and applaud.
Maryse embraced the dark floral trend with this sheath dress, in a gorgeous, oversize rendition of the print. With the dark backdrop, the whirling florals feel less frivolous and much more sophisticated. Maryse plays that up with a leather jacket and taupe ankle boots (from Gucci). After the long reign of the pointy toe (which isn't over, by any means) this rounded shape has a fresh and interesting vibe to it. Next up is a re-use of a perforated pencil skirt from Mistress Rocks. This time, she pairs it with a diamond-printed top from Revolve Clothing, which sports a mock neck and sheer sleeves. The way the look plays on the two different geometric patterns is quite intriguing and unusual, while the black and white/ivory is as classic as it gets. Her Valentino Rockstud pumps round out the look with a nice contrasting delicacy and shine. Her visit to the Porsche Museum (oh my - I could def get carried away in there!) was all about statement outerwear. She paired a simple black top and pants with a Mossman Clothing overcoat: a classic silhouette with flap pockets and a statement color with distinctive military-esque button details. The rich burgundy is hard to ignore! A coat with this combination of iconic styling and unique hue is the kind of investment piece that will last decades and which everyone should have! I wish I could say the same about her Louis Vuitton boots. I love a good pair of derriere-kicking, lug-sole boots as much as the next girl, but even Maryse can't sell me on these. The white laces unfortunately give me clown vibes that I just can't get past. Oh well. Chalk that up to an extremely rare (like rarer-than-a-solar-eclipse-rare) questionable selection by Maryse. Back when the Big Dub took their Summer Skin seriously and didn't just dash off a crumb to the anniversary with a mere four photoshoots *ahem*, they gave just about every diva on the roster their own day of swim snaps. I remember how freakin' amazing that summer was, waiting to see who was going to be next and what they had chosen for swimwear and the locations and just...ogh...so much fantasticness! That - and I can hardly believe this because it seems like this blog's been my baby forevs - was back in the days before I was a fashion writer. So, although I got to savor and be inspired by each 'shoot, I didn't get to review them. Remedying that as we speak :)...or rather as we share thoughts electronically via various networks. It's so funny to think back to those moments - I had a different car, different laptop to race to wwe.com on, different hair color, same love of wrestling in general and divas in particular (thank Maria and Michelle for that; they hooked me). The continual and unprecedented 'shoot releases kept the whole summer lit...not that lit was in common usage then :). It made a huge impression on me because it coincided with the first summer I was a huge diva fan. I don't remember what order the snaps came out in, but I do remember raving over Maria's, Maryse's (some things never change ;)) ... Maria's set was as diverse as her fashion is, ranging through some girl-next-door blue denim-esque and skull-accented, rocker chick piece before getting to the heart and soul of her fashion: glam. This mint-and-gold set had me drooling with it's shining beauty. Maria went heavy with gold statement jewelry, adding plenty of va-voom to an already attention-getting look. She pushed her poses to the dramatic limits - sometimes blowing right over them, but whatever :) - now that's how you work some bamboo! And thennnnn, she busted out the bikini I can't forget. Well, ok, maybe I can forget those metallic boy shorts, but that triangle top covered in massive silver paillettes? Never. Oh, and there was a star charm dangling off the center. I still want that piece. Her roll-front side-pony was about as glam as glamour gets. And there were also stud bracelets. Not sure my heart ever left that shoot. So maje.
Then again, Maryse didn't go easy on the heartstrings with her looks. She included sequined sets in magenta and red, a pure white bikini shot in the spray, a glittering blue bikini and then these two: a black triangle set covered with crystals and the curveball of the line-up: a floral-printed french top paired with white bottoms which boasted super-long side ties. It was basically a "You'll need oxygen for this" set of snaps from stem to stern, but these two stood out particularly for the backgrounds and poses. The black bikini was shot with Maryse perched on an outcropping of rocks. It looked challenging, but that brought out the best in her, as she draped herself over the rocks for a stunning series of shots. The floral bikini was shot primarily on the beach, with Maryse half-in/half-out of the water. Her poses, all the way from laying in the sand to kneeling in the foam evoke quintessential summer. With Maria's advent on Smackdown, the WWE took some time to traipse down memory lane by excavating some of her past photoshoots from the vault. Scrolling through the gallery, several things struck me. First, what completely amazing bikinis Maria picks out! The star-spangled mint one was a piece I fell for at first sight! It really doesn't get much more glam than that! At the opposite end of the spectrum is this denim-esque one, with it's girl-next-door quality. Maria, of course, spiked it by adding lemon yellow platform sandals to the mix, but the swimsuit is seriously fab in and of itself. Next, one thing the gallery really highlights is the innate sense of drama in Maria's style. Even when she does a basically classic outfit (like her black tee and jeans look), she still manages to inject attitude and flamboyance somewhere, somehow. With that outfit, it's a crystal belt and a pair of black and crystal bracelets. With her gold-edged red gown, which she wore while picking up her 2009 Slammy for Diva Of The Year, she added a golden hair band, embellished with a huge, but delicate filigree butterfly in front of her poofed half updo. There's always a splash of the unexpected, a shot of panache, something attention-grabbing. While she's perfectly happy to explore over-the-top scenarios - and manages to slay them far more often than not - the funky true-to-self passion in her style keeps it perpetually surprising and engaging. It's something I can't help but love and respect! Lastly, it's noteworthy how many current trends she managed to touch on, six, seven, eight years before their resurgence. Ruffles? Check. Off the shoulder tops? Check. High-waisted, wide-leg pants? Check. One-piece swimsuits? Check. The girl is a fashion tsunami. Translation: style maven worth paying attention to! I'm so glad she's staying on our screens :)
