Paige, Brie and Renee got together for a girls' night out just before the big crush of WrestleMania activities. All three ladies rocked their looks! Paige paired olive leggings with a crop top, which is a fairly expected pairing these days. She used flat OTK's and a fab jacket to spice it up and make the look really pop, while a bright orange baseball cap added some color and touch of cool. This is how laidback is done! Brie showcased her mod side - with a dark twist- in this black monochrome ensemble. Her studded purse brings some attitude and creates a nice contrast with the black - I love this vanilla shade as a variation on pristine white - and appears to match her shoes. I'm also a huge fan of her choker necklace -ssly gorge! Renee hopped on the lace-up dress trend with this black shift. Don't you just addoooore the swingy quality of this piece? Her uber-on-trend strappy sandals in scarlet are a fantastic way to bring a bit of punch to this look and just might make it my favorite of the three. That sexy color is carried upward via her lip shade. Brava!

Alright Fashion Fanciers...grab yourself a long, tall, hot cup of your favorite joe and strap in. We're going to analyze, adore and dissect to within an inch of it's glittering life the red carpet fashion that made us say "ooo", "aahhh" , "ooohh" and "djfefoacpokrpgknxsal". My usual disclaimer applies: hairs have been split. Miniscule fashion choices have carried immense weight due to the need to determine placings. Understand: I root my keister off for each of these girls to slay every time out. I want it to happen. I crave it. Further, I believe, I know all of them can. It's just a question of who does it when. So, who did it last Saturday night? The 2016 Hall Of Fame Fashion Review is awaiting the sound of the starter's gun. Let the counting commence!
The Ever So Fine Eva Marie: Our favorite redhead for sure has the kind of body that can rock a gown like this! And I give her huge props for wearing a white dress that doesn't look like a wedding gown. Nextly, cutouts are amazing! They can look so modern, sexy and fierce. But I also think they require some restraint, especially for a formal event. A Maxim 'shoot is one thing; this is the Hall Of Fame. This dress seems to push the risqué a bit too far for the classiest event of WWE's year. The formal up-do was a bright spot, helping to balance that, and the crystal statement necklace was a highlight as well. Set against a subtler statement, they would have made this look a winner. Emma: I love the way this gown shifted colors in the light from amethyst to wine red. There's a lot of flash and drama combined here, between the large sequins and sheer insets; it's a bit busy and comes off more brazen than intrepid. The effortless, flowing hairstyle was an excellent choice, helping to counteract all the shine. The small gold clutch functions similarly and works well. Paige: This black gown is a triumph of minimalism, depending on the deep-v front for it's visual impact. The only strike against it is that it is the same one she wore at the Oscars and, in a contest this close (as the HoF count-up *always* is!), that carries weight. Her choker is a trendy and fabulous choice. I do wish she had added a gemstone ( I'm imagining a statement-size garnet) to it; the simplicity of the dress would have benefitted from such an elevation. But these are split hairs. Her one unforgiveable choice was the flat thong sandals. Oh, Paige. You mock me :'(. As always, the could-have-beens are heart and gut-wrenching. Would a pair of studded, strappy heels (I'd even take chunky heels) really have been so impossible? Sasha: This black woven gown was a very appropriate choice for the event - chic and modern. I love her silver crystal clutch - it's clean and glamorous and brings a bit of needed flash to the black dress. Props also for the crystal bracelet. Anyone who knows me knows I love a good statement necklace so it will doubtless surprise you that I think I actually would have preferred something a bit more refined here - a slim, but sparkly or strong silver lariat comes to mind - to elevate without overdramatizing. This is a nice job for a red carpet firstie; I expect great things from Sasha as she continues to hone and evolve her style. In response to my requests for more photoshoots (ok, not really...but I did tweet a couple people :)), WWE has released this Batman v Superman-themed photoshoot, featuring a plethora of Divas. The 'shoot's photos used a background that matched that of the movie poster, with a few special-effect sparks added as well. The lighting was quite interesting, especially for a WWE 'shoot, and brought extra dimension to the pics in terms of light and shadow and a cinematic feel. There is an interesting mix of pictures gathered here. Some fit the theme quite well and some look as if they were fashion 'shoots where the Diva was photoshopped onto the background.
Lana's pic fits the latter category. Fortunately, it detracts little from the quality of the shot. Between her all-black ensemble, which pairs her trademark cropped jacket with a bodycon LBD, and her bold collar necklace (which I am pretty sure is this piece from J. Crew), her outfit is cool, polished and stylish...in other words, everything we've come to expect from our fav ravishing Russian :). We get a couple of pics from Jojo and I really love how she used two very different looks to convey the duality between Batman and Bruce Wayne. Her leather fit-and-flare dress nods to the black rubber of the superhero, while her bold windowpane bustier -paired with slim pants- suggests the power and seductiveness of the playboy billionaire. And the differences don't stop there. She contrast flowing curls with a slicked down hairstyle, free-flying red nails with buttoned-down white and cranberry lips with warm peach. She gets serious Fierce points for putting so much effort into showing the two opposite sides of the character. Great work! Paige has found another leopard-lined jacket to wear for us, this one a black leather moto style. She pairs it quite simply with a black semi-sheer tee and black jeans. The most superhero-y element here is her fingerless gloves. It's her character and the attitude she conveys via her poses that sell these snaps; somehow, I can ttly envision Paige as a superhero...with some anti-hero tendencies :). Can't you? Lastly, I applaud her use of an ice pink lip! It's unusual among the divas in general, but after Paige's love affair with the taupe lip, it's almost shocking to see it on her. A little shock now and then is a good thing :). So this is Paige's semi-standard black-on-black look, but I really like her use of the plunge front top here. She's not showing much skin with the rest of her outfit, which keeps the look classy, and the deep-v acts as the one dramatic element. This is exactly how a deep v should be done.
Right after black, the next most classic color is red! It's hard to go wrong with a vibrant LRD, like the one Maria's rocking here in a v modelesque pose. Wouldn't you love to see a photoshoot in that...perhaps with a pair of killer black heels. #Daydreams I also ttly adore her next look - it's great to see the ladies do causal looks too. I enjoy the mix! The roll-tab sleeves, which are quite hot atm, make me think this is a silk shirt. The roll tab is incredibly helpful for keeping them in place. If that's true, I'm in heaven. Silk+denim? Oh yaaaaas! What a fabulous mix of textures: luxurious, flowy silk, and tough, hardworking woven cotton make a glorious casual-chic pairing. It's hard to tell from the lighting if this is black or navy, but it matters not. They are equally amazeballs in this instance. It looks to me like Becky is seriously stepping up her style game! She's paired a graphic tee with patched jeans (the fabric showing through the tears in the denim looks super cool!) and completed the look with these wrap knee boots by Free People ( and almost sold out at Asos). This whole outfit comes together flawlessly. It has great cohesiveness, in terms of colors and elements, even though it looks like it isn't trying hard at all. Brava, Becks. Oh, this American Apparel bodysuit! It's going to be as famous as that studded crisscross top of Nikki's that pretty much the whole Divas' Division wore at one time or other. Charlotte excavated it for this recent tv appearance. She took a much different route to styling it than has been done previously. Black and dresses seem to be the current theme for early March. We get o see a bit of fashion from Rosa, which is awesome because we haven't gotten nearly as much lately as I'd love to see :). This simple, black empire-waist dress is cute and classic. What I love best about it is that it's maternity-appropriate, without coming off like maternity-wear. It says "I can be pregnant and clasy too - at the same time!". She injects a bit of attitude by finishing the look with OTK boots, a pairing I love. Next up on the dress front is Eden, who reigned over tv in this metallic-accented bodycon dress. The combination of khaki with gold is gorgeous. She finished the look with nude almond-toed platform pumps for an all-neutral ensemble. Charlotte represents the black portion of our theme and gets serious props from me for this motorcycle-style capelet. It's a daring and unusual piece and I'm super jazzed that she went for this look! The plain black canvas below, of tank top and jeans, let the topper have all the focus, which was brilliant. I get so lit when ladies take style risks! Love it! Nikki delved into her new passion for tea while wearing this fit-and-flare dress, embellished with sheer insets that create a striped effect. This standout dress walks a wonderful line between stylishness and sexiness, pairing the modern, raw striping wth the flirty femininity of the sheer fabric. Nikki's polka dot shoes are one of my favorite aspects of the ensemble; they bring playfulness to the styling. Brooke's latest offering is an off-duty-model-worthy pairin of leggings with a tee and classic leather jacket. Her metallic pointy-toe pumps elevate this look to a fabulous casual cool. #HowItsDone101, Fiercettes!
We're kicking off this FashionHap with a blackout :). Brie, Natalya and Paige celebrated Oscar night in thoroughly appropriate and fabulous dresses! Natalya's fluid mermaid gown has a sporty vibe, due it's strong, clean cutouts at the shoulder. Her long, curled locks fit the easy glamour of this dress. As always, she's trendy and chic! We don't get to see a lot of Paige's gown, but the fact that she's wearing one is super cool. Her distinctive street-edged style is amazing, but I also love when divas stretch their own boundaries and do something unexpected. So, seeing her dress up is a total thrill! Of course, black would be her color; it walks the border between darkness and sophistication. Brie's dress shares several characteristics with Natalya's - cutouts and that magnificent mermaid shape. Subtle details, like the mockneck and cap sleeves, make her choice feminine and classic. These three make a fabulous Oscar-night-worthy trio!
Renee's all-black look is just jaw-dropping: she matches a trendy pleated mini skirt and cami with a statement crochet sweater. The black-on-black ensemble gives this styling extra impact. It's modern, strong and absolutely beautiful all at once. Her stunning up-do is the perfect complement! Charlotte got the "wear black" memo as well, as she paired a cap-sleeve top with a fun sheer detail and denim flared jeans. One of my favorite aspects of this top is that it's interesting without being too flashy. Sometimes the sheer detail can go overboard, but this one makes just enough of a statement! You could easily pair it with rolled skinny jeans and heels, or a pencil skirt, jacket and flats. I also love the softness of her half-up/half-down hair style; the tendrils floating around her face are so so pretty! WWE recently released a tribute to the ultimate show of strength: The Flex! After a veritable drought of photoshoots, we finally get a couple of cute shots of a great group of ladies showing off what they busted their bums to earn: big guns. Paige wears her original studded gear ensemble, paired with open-weave, spider-web-esque fishnets. I love how she warmed her lip shade from taupe to sandy peach - it's still fierce and makes a nice detail change-up. Charlotte wears her cotton-candy-hued gear, accented with crystals and her trademark studded belt for a fun blend of girl, tough and glam. Her make-up absolutely smashes it out of the park here. It was the first thing that caught my eye. Pastel rose eyeshadow and iced pink lips are completely, undeniably GORGEOUS on her! PS the pastels are ttly on-trend too #LookToTry. Renee's tangerine lips create a perfect pop of color against her gray ensemble and pick up the multi-hued bright shade sin her belt. If left to my own devices, I probably wouldn't choose a shirt promoting rice and tuna, but I do utterly adore this pairing of a super-casual tee with a cute wrap skirt. It's elevated by the polished pairing of grays and style-defining accessories.
