Hello, Brandi, killing it as usual! :) She attended a Cointreau soiree in August, along with Cody, wearing this simple black monochrome ensemble. She made it much more than simple, however, by adding this floral textured clutch! I love how the spike of formality and luxe elevates this look! Her azalea lips shade adds just the right whisper of color. We see a similar all-black combo from Eva Marie, with a very different vibe. Her slim pencil skirt if paired with a cropped cutout collar top and edgy black sandals. the whole vibe is tougher and brassier than Brandi's look, though equally modern. Don't you love how such similar elements can still create such incredibly different styles? (PS the top, skirt and aviators are all part of her NEM fashion line). I always have a special place in my fashionable heart for the ladies who can do it all. They turn their hand from look to look without even the slightest loss of competence. Lana is one of those. Here, she goes straight up rocker for us, in a look that's def one of my recent favs! She pairs daring black and white striped pants with a black top and a cropped leather jacket. The pants are bold, but everything else is subtle and it strikes precisely the right style balance! The city background enhances the look and the angle - Lana's blonde beauty in motion as she passes through the sight line - make this candid shot photoshoot-worthy. Alexa makes her presence felt again, this time catching our attention with this white cutout dress. The embellished crossed belt at the front is so pretty - and makes me smile: it seem Alexa always manages to get her touch of glam into a look...and I love that! Wedge pumps complete here look. I can ttly see black pointy toe pumps working as well. Charlotte went for a slip dress during her time in Sydney and I like her variation of the trend. Architectural black sandals finished the look. I've noticed Charlotte wearing this bar necklace quite often, and jewelry not overly much, so I am beginning to wonder if she prefers pieces with personal meaning. If that's isn't/weren't the case, I could see adding a choker to this look for a little more amperage.

I ttly can't believe WrestleMania week is almost here! Are you revved? Me 2! And scared lol. I have to clear a bunch of posts out my backlog before we get to the fashion deluge that is WM week...gaaah! So it's lots of work for me..but lots of fun for you lucky ones ;). Hold on to your cloches, loves and strap in. It's gonna get caaaaa-raaayzaay.
A lot of the LBD's we see are sheaths, bodycon or otherwise pretty button-downed style, but this one from Lana has a bit more flow and movement to it, as a result of the georgette sleeves. I especially love the chic femininity of the long cuffs. The rounded neckline also gives off a softer vibe, as compared to a bolder V-shape. Lana enhanced that vibe with lace tights and then brough a bit of an edge to the look with black OTKs. I like the way the lace breaks up the black-on-black with texture. Maria wore this gooooorgeous sheath dress during a mid-March Impact episode. If you look fast, you see a typical ivory sheath. But ssly, let's just take a moment to fully appreciate this dress. Atop the ivory fabric is multi-colored embroidery in a beautiful scrolled floral design. And that is embellished with crystals. Ogh...so fab! Even though Maria's with TNA now, this dress is completely WM-worthy! Or prom-worthy ;). She finished it of with metallic gold single-sole heels, which are a perfect choice, as they reflect the warmth of the dress's color. This casual outfit from Rosa is a fairly basic pairing of a cute, red sleeveless tee and skinny jeans. What made it stand out for me, though, was her choice of snake print flats. That is how you do a statement flat, Fiercettes! It elevates the whole outfit. WWE just released their third photoshoot in a week (more on those coming soon!), so maybe the wheel is finally turning in that department. Prior to this week, it seemed like all the 'shoots were bottlenecked, even though the ladies kept releasing teaser shots. I finally gave up waiting for the Big Dub to cough up the goodies, so even though this snap of Eva looks like a 'shoot pic, I'm reviewing it. Ms. All Red Everything gave us a very garage-glam look with distressed skinny jeans paired with a fantastically studded leather jacket. Lest you think Paige is the Queen of leather jackets, Eva begs to differ. This one is smoking hot and brings plenty of attitude. The black monochrome outfit helps to ground all those studs, while her pointy toe textured-leather pumps bring the glam. This kind of look is where Eva's fashion sense really shines! If WWE has been bad about letting loose the 'shoots, TNA has been even worse. It's been like excavating an Egyptian tomb to get any kind of fashion at all out of the Impact crowd lately, outside of the ever-amazing Maria. Sigh. At least we have this find from a recent archaeological adventure: Dixie doing 70's as she does best, with an off-shoulder snake print top, black jeans and knee boots. She accented it with a multi-strand bead necklace. This look is classic Dixie and it works well - it's interesting and polished and touch sexy. Now that the warmer weather is here, have you got bikini bods on your mind? Whether its getting one or ogling one, the Big Dub has you covered with their latest collection of bikini'd divas, curated from the ladies' Instagram postings. We've added a couple of our own finds as well ...because...bikinis! Ready to get blasted? Blue is hot this year according to the divas, as no less than three of them rocked that color. Mandy showed off this breezy crosshatch string style. The color play of the hot pink piping is just fab! Nikki went for a glorious cobalt shade that is killer! Equally killer is the cut-out center, held together with slim horizontal straps. Oh. My. Naturally, she finished off the look in style with black leather sandals. She can even make a neck brace look hot. #IAmNotWorthyBows. I love the graduated dot styling of Eva Marie's classic white bikini. That pop-art detail lends a very mod vibe to the piece. With denim shorts and her red hair, this pic immediately makes me think of Independence Day! Summer hopped on the fringe trend with this goooooorgeous deep periwinkle blue top, paired with black string bottoms. Mixing and matching is just plain fun! I'm in love with her classy peeptoe wedges - completely magnificent silhouette! The oval cutouts on Brie's bikini are the first thing that make it stand out...va-va-vroom! How tantalizing are those? The second can't-miss-it detail is that mesmerizing bright emerald color! This shade has just come back on fashion's radar after a number of years away and its return is oh so welcome :). Rosa shows off a classic black bikini with a ring detail accent. You can never go wrong with black! It's alwaaaaaays chic.
If you're a fan of diva-fierce, you know I've never made any secret of my love of yellow :). And ever since Taylor Swift appeared in the glorious mustard yellow gown in the Wildest Dreams video, my chief style ambition has been to acquire something similar. Kate Hudson's yellow dress in How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days put me into a similar frenzy lol. While I would (and do!) wear yellow any ol' time I get the chance, it seems to me that spring and summer are the most perfect times to try out this vibrant, glowing color. The Divas and Knockouts have given it a go on numerous occasions, with great success. Yellow carries a similar intensity to bright red, so it comes with similar tips and caveats: keep the accessories a bit minimal (one statement necklace, as opposed to a sea of crystal), neutrals or a single contrast color for pairings. A number of stores seem to carry yellow items in drab brown-tinged and greenish-leaning shades (looking at you, Free People), but I think those tones are difficult to wear. The cleaner, less dusty shades lend themselves to easier pairings.
Black and dresses seem to be the current theme for early March. We get o see a bit of fashion from Rosa, which is awesome because we haven't gotten nearly as much lately as I'd love to see :). This simple, black empire-waist dress is cute and classic. What I love best about it is that it's maternity-appropriate, without coming off like maternity-wear. It says "I can be pregnant and clasy too - at the same time!". She injects a bit of attitude by finishing the look with OTK boots, a pairing I love. Next up on the dress front is Eden, who reigned over tv in this metallic-accented bodycon dress. The combination of khaki with gold is gorgeous. She finished the look with nude almond-toed platform pumps for an all-neutral ensemble. Charlotte represents the black portion of our theme and gets serious props from me for this motorcycle-style capelet. It's a daring and unusual piece and I'm super jazzed that she went for this look! The plain black canvas below, of tank top and jeans, let the topper have all the focus, which was brilliant. I get so lit when ladies take style risks! Love it! Nikki delved into her new passion for tea while wearing this fit-and-flare dress, embellished with sheer insets that create a striped effect. This standout dress walks a wonderful line between stylishness and sexiness, pairing the modern, raw striping wth the flirty femininity of the sheer fabric. Nikki's polka dot shoes are one of my favorite aspects of the ensemble; they bring playfulness to the styling. Brooke's latest offering is an off-duty-model-worthy pairin of leggings with a tee and classic leather jacket. Her metallic pointy-toe pumps elevate this look to a fabulous casual cool. #HowItsDone101, Fiercettes!
If you've been thinking about your upcoming Prom lately and need something to get your creative juice flowing, stick around! We've spent the last two weeks prom shopping and the fruits of our labor are yours for the snacking on...stylish comestibles, indeed ;) Before we get into the girl talk, here's an fyi: if you fall in love with any dress shown here, the links to all of them are available on our polyvore page under "Likes" (make sure you scroll down. When you get to the green Lands' End sweater, you've hit the end of the prom stuff lol), along with gobs of pretty shoes under $100. A huge percentage of my picks came from Nordstrom, which is a great place to start, since they also carry shoes and jewels...it's one-and-done shopping :)
Party Glam: One of the most fun things about a formal dance like the Prom is that you get to glam things up, if you choose to. You can think of it as your own personal red carpet :). On the flip side it's still a party..so you can rock a party look, spiced with glam. It's the kind of thing Barbie or Michelle would do! Barbie's gorgeous satin dress look is one of my all-time favs from her...it's so flirty and femme! Her high pony just makes it flawless! You can hardly get more classic for the Prom than a pink dress. Balancing that sweetness with black shoes is a tried and true combination. I always love throwing a spin into style, so I would think about matching it with navy or deep purple. Mixed-stone earrings or layered bracelets in blues, purples and magentas would complete the jewel-tones aesthetic. A crop-top and maxi skirt in silk or satin would also be a ttly Barbie choice. This white and azalea set can be kept fresh by going with white sandals. The silver detail adds a touch of icy glam. Chilled-steel glamour is also very much a Michelle kind of styling. A black dress with a touch of ruffle and a crystal belt would be just her thing! I love the simple sparkle of this one. While Michelle would probably up the dazzle factor with crystal shoes, I would lean toward the unexpected magic of a bright pop of color from something like these bright amethyst lace-up sandals. Like Barbie, Michelle would also try the two-piece look. Blue was always one of her trademark colors and it's obvi why: it's hard to go wrong in! This one has crystal accents at the collar and waist for chic, Old Hollywood-esque glitter. Simple silver pumps would finish this off without competing with that glorious set. OMG do we have a FashionHap for you! Get out your beach towel and prepare for some drool-worthiness. We kick off with some Summer killage and then...well, if you're a shoewhore, this Total Divas promo pic is your Richard Gere.
This snap of Summer is jaw-droppingly chic. You really can't get more classic than an LBD and this one makes timelessness modern, with its elbow sleeves, sweetheart neckline and fit-and-flare silhouette. A hint of décolleté, a classic red lip and voila: perfection. Finish it off with a black pointy-toe pump and it's style heaven. I unconditionally love this look! LOVE. Making the shot all the more impressive is the beautiful background art and the simple, but impact-making red chair. Oh yes, AND her demurely sensual and ladylike pose...gorgeous! Can this be a photoshoot, pleeeeeeeeease? :) |
