It's that most wonderful time of year again: time for our own special party called the Silver Snap Awards :) We've picked out the Divas and Knockout who have thrilled and chilled us with their fabulous photos throughout the year. Now, it's your turn to pick The ONE...the most flawless, most amazing, most life-changing set of snaps...and give the Diva and Knockout who created it the present of receiving the Silver Snap Award as the best photoshoot of 2015. Are you ready? Without further ado, we're super-excited to present to you the 2015 Silver Snap nominees... Your top Knockouts 'Shoots of 2015 Are: Brooke - Top Dog Ok, it doesn't seem to have been officially released anywhere through TNA, but it contains the TNA belt, so I consider it a TNA shoot. And it's rave-worthy! Three different outfits, mad sexy, dark glamour, threatening Dobermans and gorgeous Brooke, all set against dramatic backgrounds. How often to you get chains, fur, sequins, fangs and lace all in one shoot? It's an artistic paradise on film. Madison - Fight Song This shoot is simple, clean and classic. The stark color contrast pops off the page. Madison's outfit is stylistically spot-on, making use of trendy leather and a cropped top. A drizzle of chains and a statement cuff bring a fierce finish, while her red hair is just the pop of color needed to enliven the shoot to an above-ordinary level. Her poses are crisp and confident. Everything about this works. Taryn - Taryn's Funhouse The contrast between Taryn's feminine dress and her pin-up poses in this shoot was real highlight for me, as it was reminiscent of 90's-era Hole. The sex-and-candy vibe played well against the formal fashion, while combining nicely with the intense colors, making a very unique shoot in both look and feel, and Taryn rocked the vibe with authority and beauty. Her dress was gorgeous, her platform pumps were youthfully chic and her softly glowing party makeup was a flawless finish. The whole shoot was just bursting with playful, vaguely grunge-y flirtation spiced with an endearing hint of precociousness. Poll now closed. Your Top Divas 'Shoots of 2015 Are:
Lana - Gotta Whole Lana Love Since the spring when this shoot came out, we've seen Lana get progressively more carefree. But until here, most of what we'd seen from her was the prim, buttoned-down, cool-as-a-Siberian-winter queen. Stretching beyond your comfort zone is always noteworthy and Lana let loose here, going for exuberant, effervescent poses, a flippy ponytail and, in a marked departure from her trademark suit, a lighthearted graphic-printed coord set, sparked with a flash of neon pink at her shoulders. Her cute cropped jacket was a firm rejection of the business attire she previously tended to favor, while still being a triumph stylistically. Her poses are the key highlight here, but the shoot is very much of-the-moment and one of our first glimpses of just how much depth Lana has in the style, art and inspiration department. Paige - Jemstones Flash Like Lana's shoot, this one of Paige's caught our attention because it showed a metamorphosis of her trademark punk style into the glam-rock look of the 80's. It was a wonderful exhibition of how a few details can make a big difference. While her basic canvas was the same - leather bra-top, OTK's fishnets, a studded vest, a few hints of neon color and jaw-dropping, glittery make-up kicked this look from common to cool. The neon pink background was a contributing factor as well. Paige gave us some tried-and-true poses, but also some experimental ones, which she nailed, thereby cementing the rocker vibe and this shoot's place in our Silver Snaps. Renee - I'm Free While every shoot can offer the opportunity to capture various aspects of the subject's personality, it's not often that they get to explore a number of facets in a single shoot. That's just what Renee did here, changing from professional minimalist maven in her gray dress to quirky coquette in her muscle tee and denim to street-chic sophisticate in her black tunic and leather leggings. The fashion is one stealer aspect of this shoot; her poses are the other, as Renee trips handily through portrait-esque beauty, goofiness, whimsicality and a flurry of other expressions. The variety of this shoot is incredible and all of it is well-executed. Brava, Renee! Summer - Million Dollar Babies The most casual set among our nominees derives impact from shadows and sweat, making it one of the HOTTEST shoots in recent memory. Summer uses the neon colors she often favors to full effect, creating a bright and attractive look that surmounts the standard workout fare. However, it is her poses that truly make this shoot shine. They are unique, creative, scalding hot..and she slays every one. Shove over, Sports Illustrated. Poll now closed.
