The results are in! The ONE best photoshoot of the year has been chosen by YOU. Who captured your heart in 2017? For the Knockouts:
Gail Kim - May The Forces Be With You I loved the look of this set from the instant I saw it– not only was it creative in terms of the fashion, and an excellent use the backdrop, the execution was stellar. It was powerful, persuasive and expressed the vibe of the wind flawlessly, incorporating soft sensuality and raging strength into visual artistry. And clearly, you loved it as well! The award takes on particularly poignant meaning this year, as Gail announced her retirement from the ring, making this likely to be the last year we see significant photoshoot work from her. She was previously nominated in 2013, but has never taken the award before, which makes me especially thrilled to congratulate her on winning the 2017 Knockouts Silver Snap Award! For the Divas: Nikki Bella – Engagingly Fearless In this world of fashion meeting sport head-on, melding sport and couture into a single, fierce-as-all-heck photoshoot is the way to win a lot of love! Nikki’s ‘shoot work has been incredible all year and she absolutely slayed this gritty-gym-rat-meets-high-fashion editorial ‘shoot, bringing determination and glamour to torn tees and lace-up bodysuits. The look was insanely unique, super cool and crazy fun, supplemented by an awesome setting and amazing lighting. She nailed poses after pose, in everything from wrist tape to over-the-knee boots, which takes one fantastic sense of fashion and aesthetics. Like Gail, Nikki has been nominated in the past, but has never won. Massive congratulations to Nikki for taking home the 2017 Divas Silver Snap Award!
