We're getting into the holiday spirit this FashionHap by starting off with a pair of burgundy looks. Eden kicks it off with an on-trend sweater dress in a lovely, warm wine shade. This is a color I adore all winter: it's festive, flattering and looks amazing with any neutral, as well as with bright blues and true reds. Sweater dresses were 70's staples, hence they're rediscovered popularity. I give Eden props for the tights - it's a classic look we don't see much from the Divas and KOs and it makes a shorter dress much more comfortable on cooler days! We don't get a look at her shoes here, but I'm envisioning pointy-toe pumps...in suede :) This is a standout look from Charlotte: the fit-and-flare (perhaps we should now call it the fit-and-Flair silhouette? ;) ) is FLAWLESS for her and my past-top-of-the-charts fave. (Wishlist: that she'd do a version of her gear like this!!) The studs on her( super-hot-rn! leather top are tasteful and add some spice to the piece, while her deep red jeans bring a pretty flash of color. The basic theme of the ensemble is dark, but much more fun! Suede OTK boots finish her look off, making it powerful and , while the play of texture between suede and leather adds an intriguing contrast. Absolutely fabulous styling here! Jojo caught our eyes in this wonderful gray A-line dress. Her style can sometimes get too cutesy for her youthful look. This piece is simpler, a bit more mature and consequently chic, without looking at all too old for her. It's a fantastic choice! She styled simply with a bead bracelet and understated locket. Her rose-burgundy lip shade adds a soft hint of color and brings precisely the required pop. I would love a playful, fun shoe here, something Sophia Webster or Charlotte Olympia, that lets Jojo's personality shine. Let's not forget about gear, either! Paige has kept her gorgeous bright blue-accented and studded-starred bottoms, but gone to a bustier-style top with patterning at the front, which reminds me of jacquard. It brings a gothic-esque touch to this version of her in-ring attire. The metallic bright blue edging still looks fab, and her brassiere peeking out from below adds just the right about of seduction for an entertainer trying to push the envelope. Also making this look a killer one is her cinnamon blush and dusty coral lip shade. They're both warmer tones than she generally chooses and the effect is stunning! When you do a lot of ripped and torn, a look can get busy in a hurry, but Brie has the good style sense to keep everything else minimal. The cat-scratch look is done in plain, black coated fabric with an appealing sheen. Red piping adds the only accent, except for her amazing red lace bra that we catch flirty glimpses of as it peeks through her torn top. This gear is divine: it's a perfect melding of simplicity with sexiness with a single, fantastic statement piece. Charlotte's gear keeps the same silhouette she's been using of late, but I had to call it out for this magnificent color! The iridescent sky blue is insanely beautiful. Her pinky-peach lips complement is flawlessly. Summer offers us two looks from mid-November. This first is her near-uniform combo of lace top with black pencil skirt. The lace is gorgeous and it gets enlivened by the lovely coral-red shade, but I admit to continuing to wish for her to go in some different directions. Her pointy-toe pumps are fab, but demure and they don't help this outfit come alive, as say, a peeptoe booty, or a risky sandal would. Her next choice, an LBD is much more interesting. This is more the kind of thing I'd expect from the Sultana of Slay. Ruffles form cap sleeves for this piece and embellish the rest of the bodice, creating a feminine, artistic aesthetic. More like this :)..pretty please please? OMG...KO's! :) The ladies all got together for a recent event and consequently, we get a whole line-up of style...woot woot!
Gail's outfit positively makes me swoon! I wish she'd get more of a chance to show off her street style, because it's fantastic! She pairs this feminine leather bustier with a gorgeous spice-red pencil skirt for a look that's both romantic and polished at the same time. The touch of sparkle at her ears is all that's needed to make this outfit complete...and completely fabulous! Velvet's lace-accented LBD shows off the sexy style we know and love. She brings in a touch of flash with her statement belt, a piece I love in and of itself. I think she could have gotten away without it here, though, and let this sensual bodycon dress stand on it's own. It makes a beautiful, strong statement as is. I'm betting platform pumps finished off this look. Madison went for a laid-back look, pairing black jeans with a long tank and cropped denim vest. This way of layering a cropped piece over a longer length item is a massive favorite of mine and something I do often. It's makes cropped styles much more versatile and wearable and, if the proportions are right (as they are here), it looks awesome! I wish we could see more of her accessories and shoes, because they could either keep this look casual or elevate it to cool-girl chic. Speaking of cool-girl chic, Angelina's 70's-referencing one-shoulder top makes for a dramatic look atop either leggings or skinny jeans. The flowy fabric is crazy fun, both to see and to wear. A bold piece like this can be very intense, very sophisticated, depending on the color/print, but Angie makes it bold and playful by choosing her signature neon pink shade. Christy's boho leanings are in full evidence here with this empire-waisted mini dress. Pairing it with a wild-and-wooly fur vest completely enhances the free spirit vibe, as does her long tassel necklace. She puts her own spin on things by adding a bold, on-trend choker as well. I love the distinctiveness and careless chic of this look. I'd be thinking OTK flat boots here, possibly with fringe, but I'd love to know Christy's choice! Black is the classic go-to for most of the fashion industry, but I am often partial to brown hues, ranging from cream-in-coffee to chocolate for their warmth. Brooke shows off why they're such pretty choices with this ruched halter mini dress in a gorgeous shade of caramel. Everything about this look is lush and inviting, right down to the hints of gold in her slim bracelets. I totally second the motion on blending gold with brown hues; the yellow glow of the gold complements the earthy shades. As with all these ladies, I wish I could see her shoe choice. This would be a perfect op for anything from suede ankle booties to metallic heels.
