There was a ton of great fashion at Wrestlemania Axxess - three days worth! Maryse kicks things off with a classy, neutral look, pairing a sleeveless mock-neck shell with a khaki mini pencil skirt. I love the cute tie-waist detail of her skirt that highlights her waist! She completed the look with her Valentino wedge sandals. The styling feels light, bright and fresh. Naomi went very casual for this event, going with a denim-on-denim combination of a classic jacket an cut-off shorts. She spiked the look with a bright lime tee emblazoned with her "Feel The Glow" logo. The laidback feel of this outfit is appealing and works well on Naomi, although I would have loved to see her add a touch more polish for this type of event. Even making a minor switch from shorts to full-length jeans would have upgraded the formality of the look. Becky styled a sporty, chill ensemble which showcased a mesh tee over blue denim. Black piping enhanced the athletic vibe. The mesh creates great texture that adds visual interest to this pared-down look, making it a great choice by Becky. The look has punch, even those the premise is uncomplicated. Black or white sneakers would complete this styling perfectly. Eve went for a printed sleeveless blouse, paired with toast-hued shorts. She topped the whole look with a sleeveless open jacket. The print adds complexity to this primarily neutral look, but it isn't my favorite choice. The floaty silhouette contrasts somewhat awkwardly with the sleeker jacket and shorts. She gets huge props for me for the trendy jacket. I'd have loved to see her go with a slimmer, bodycon shape underneath. She intelligently balances the look with leg-lengthening nude, suede pointy pumps. This jacket from Sasha is a mad awesome piece - it's off-the-charts embellished with stones, pearls and braiding in metallics and all shades of colors. It's a statement-maker if there ever was one! The over-the-top style gives it an 80's vibe. I love the way she let it have center stage by pairing it with a black cami and black leather leggings. Her boss jewelry is just the right touch - bold enough to not get overwhelmed the jacket, but with a smooth, shiny texture that adds a nice contrast. The only thing that sends my fashion brain to a screeching halt is the fanny pack-looking bag. Metallic gold though it may be, I would have been much happier with a more polished version, something like this. Red printed sneakers finish the look nicely, carrying the colors in her jacket all the way through the outfit.
Barbie met up with Eve and Maryse at Axxess in this trendy off-shoulder ivory knit dress. She completed the look with lovely ankle strap sandals in a shade of ubiquitous nude. I love the nude shoe trend, but it does get a little bland at times. A simple outfit like this would be a flawless canvas to add a pop of color via a bright shoe (Imagine bright aqua or orange here!). That being said, I think Barbie was restricting her shoe option because she was on the road for a significant time during this event (packing a whole closet causes some issues ;)), so I understand why she went with a versatile neutral and it works nicely. Tamina nailed the statement jacket styling as she topped blue denim and a black cami with a spicy red biker jacket. I love seeing her interject color into her look, as we often see her gravitate toward black. This look is straightforward, confident and spot on, with one tiny exception: I wish she'd gone with a slightly more refined boot.. A heeled hiker (these look wedges from this angle) would give the right tough edge but be slightly more refined. Tucking her jeans into the slightly higher shaft could help as well. Summer continued her love affair with coord sets, choosing a brassiere-top-meets-high-waisted-pencil-skirt combination in nude. Peachy-ivory lace-up sandals completed the look, while a wide choker added a bold statement. While I'm a bit blasé about coord sets atm, having see so many of them, this look comes together nicely. It's soft, sexy and trademark Summer style. As an aside, black lace-ups would have worked here as well, carrying the color of her choker trough the look. (Yes, Brie is one of those people who has a hang-up about including just one piece of a color in an outfit :)).
