Kim: The Christmas season is just around the corner, and WWE is continuing their tradition of releasing a line of "Ugly" Christmas sweaters on WWEShop.com. Which means, we have the annual sweater shoot to review! Now, with Ugly Christmas Sweaters, people either love 'em or hate 'em... There's basically no in-between!
Brie: Oh dear heaven, no. Not this again. Please. I can't even. (Narrator: Clearly, Brie falls into the "hate 'em" category). Kim: Now, I'm on the polar opposite end of the spectrum here. Yes, they're tacky, and cheesy, and the designs sometimes clash... but for me I say the uglier, the better! Bring it on! Brie: I love Ruby Riott's pose here. It's like she's asking "Whyyyyy?"...which is exactly my question. Whyyyyy would you attach this mess of color and pattern to your person voluntarily? Even if it does have Ric Flair on it. There are better ways to pay tribute: blind us all with sequins, deafen us with "woos", put me in a dang Figure Four for hourrrrrs. It will all be less painful than this sweater. And also...Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan let her go out on in public like this? Girl need some new friends ...stat. Kim: Oh Brie, The Riott Squad always sticks together, no matter what! And they are rocking some Legends for this shoot; Sarah with Stone Cold, Ruby with Rick Flair, ad Liv with The Undertaker. Each one has a different colour scheme and I love 'em! The blue and green for Stone Cold's might be my favourite, followed very closely by the purple and black for Taker on Liv. But did you know, these three sweaters even light up? Like, they actually have little lights throughout? How de-light-ful! Brie: Speaking of Liv, I give her points for the blue tongue. That's fun! Especially set against the black-and-white starkness of an Undertaker sweater (just saying that phrase made my fashion brain spin. "Undertaker sweaters" should NOT BE. The end.) I'm digging the pink hair too. It's amazing how fab these detail look when I compare them to something I deeply dislike (looking at you, Undertaker Sweater). PS Her glasses are super cute!

Spring brought us a look at Katarina’s style for her return to Impact. This simple, sexy biker-chick look takes me back the accessible, straightforward attitude of her days as Katie Lea Burchill in WWE. The leather vest paired with black skinny denim and knee-high boots appears to be very much in Katarina’s comfort zone. I love how she threw in a sporty touch with her baseball cap; it’s a great way to update this look! We saw her push the envelope in a lot of fun ways as Winter, exploring gothic fashion. I’d love to see her use that same creativity as she evolves her street style.
Gail was looking as gorgeous as ever as she spent time with husband Robert Irvine. The magnificent plum hue makes this dress an immediate standout, and the cutaway at the bust only heightens the effect. I absolutely love this shade on Gail! Although she chose it for spring, it would be equally at home now, paired with other jewel tones – teal or gold spring to mind! Lana was out and about in April wearing a fierce combination of a black crop top and red latex pencil skirt. I love the way the red and latex take this simple pairing and kick it into overdrive! The latex makes a major statement and Lana carries it off flawlessly. If shining plastic seems a little of your wheelhouse (with you!), try a less bold textural contrast: suede, velvet, corduroy, or a floral print. Pro tip: the ctop isn’t crucial to making this work – any slim fitting top will do nicely. Lana added a gold pendant and completed the look with black ankle strap sandals that have my 100% approval. She literally shone at the ACM Awards in a metallic gold gown by Anya Leisnick! It definitely did not follow the legs or décolleté rule, as it combined an on-trend thigh-high slit with a daring plunge neckline. This could easily get over-the-top, but Lana wisely kept the rest of the styling simple – I love love her stud earrings and tiny pendant! – and that, along with the single, cohesive fabric, allows this look to work. Her dark eyed+flushed cheek make-up look is one of my faves; that classic natural-kicked-up-a-notch vibe always looks amazing! Lana reprised the silhouette in a white midi dress, paired with strappy gold sandals and her shorter hair. The slightly less extreme neckline is more appropriate for day wear and brings a fresh sophistication to this rendition. I love how her black nails add punch to this much more pared-down look. Hi Everyone,
Apologies ...again :(...for the lack of updates. I've hit another of those periodic runs where I have zero time. It's super frustrating because I have all these ideas and half-started posts for you...grrr. But anyway, I'm doing the best I can for now and I should be getting back to speed after the holiday. ...Speaking of which, I hope you all have an incredible day with great food, great laughs, great times and great outfits...and shoes. Because we *must* have great shoes, yes? But of course! ;) Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! XO! -Brie Lana absolutely SLAAAYS her Team Russia set, in which she pairs a DIY-halter soccer shirt with denim shorts. I think it’s her hair style that really takes these snaps into high gear – this 80’s-esque voluminous side part looks divine in her, both sensual and fierce! Her palest peach lip shade is the perfect accompaniment, giving a glacial sharpness to her look that gives high drama to her look. Since its Lana, there must be a bit of shine (a girl after my own heart :) <3), so she’s added a slim braided belt and a pair of slim chains at her neck. Her black choker coordinates with her strappy sandal-booties which, although I would have preferred if she had chosen one shade or the other of fishnet sock, there is no denying are incroyable. She shows restraint in her poses, not pushing them too hard, and the result is spectacular: a sexy, mysterious vibe with an athletic undertone that, in aggregate, has a massive visual impact akin to being on the receiving end of a goal kick.
Are you ready to be your favorite Lady Superstar? Bringin’ back a former fave feature for a little inspo from Diva-Fierce on how to be her for Halloween!
Want to metamorphosize into Naomi? Grab your neon-est of neon workout wear. Her top colors are bright pink, glowing orange and highlighter lime, but we’ve seen her rock some turquoise and multi-hued looks as well. Finish with bright, fab sneakers and def do not forget about the beauty side of things! Sparkling neon nails and totally fierce eyeshadow are absolute musts! Lastly, you can’t possibly be Naomi without unlocking your own mystical GLOW, so set it free, babes! Tonight will be a night to remember. We are going to witness Evolution, the first ever all women's PPV put on by the WWE. Superstars from the past and present will come together to make history, and to get us ready for this big night, we've got a brand new photo gallery to review. Now, gear shoots are generally pretty hit or miss, but there's something special about this one, there's a different feeling. These women are coming in Sunday to fight. They're coming to do battle. Why wouldn't they be in their gear? This is their battle armor, the cute dresses and heels can wait for another day. Carmella's bodysuit is one of my favourite ring gear styles, and this bright blue and neon yellow is a killing combination. Paired with her recently dyed locks, the former Miss Money in the Bank and Smackdown Live Women's Champion looks fierce, powerful, and fabulous. Speaking of powerful, that's a perfect word to describe the current Raw Women's Champion, Ronda Rousey. She is definitely ready to go in this all black, fighting inspired outfit, embellished with her nickname in gold. Brie and Nikki Bella both stuck with their signature shade for their gear, with Brie adding some black lace up details and slits, and Nikki made her Fearless logo sparkle and shine. It wouldn't be a Bella look without a flannel tied around the waist and backwards snapback.
I need to take a moment and say that I really love how Charlotte takes the time to share her fashion with us via her Insta. It’s one of the things that has helped me really connect with who she is outside of the ring. Thank you, Char! XO bigly. That said, let’s get to reviewing that fashion :). This spring snap shows off a pairing of a black blazer with denim shorts. It’s distinctive for a couple reasons. First, this kind of high-low pairing (note the satin lapel on the blazer) makes it stand out. I adore this kind of interplay! Swap the shorts for skinny jeans, layer a neutral tee or turtleneck underneath and wear this look right now. Second, this is such a soft, natural make-up palette for Charlotte. We get to see her dolled up and ring-ready quite often, but I love when her natural beauty gets a chance to shine through! Lastly, her hair is completely amazing here; this side part suits so incredibly well! Her next snap gives us a less-than-satisfying view of her take on Alice and Olivia’s Jeri jumpsuit (sadly sold out). This beautiful piece boats sequined floral embroidery and I hope we get to see it again (with a clear full body shot pretty please…because I need to see that shoe sitch:)) I thoroughly approve of the statement-watch-as-accessory, a Charlotte trademark which she employs to great effect. From there, she gives us another Alice and Olivia look pairing a watermelon sequined cami with wide-leg floral pants, both from the brand. The floral+shine is a super-fun pairing that gives me Dolce & Gabbana vibes and I love the way this look adds volume on the bottom – it’s a great silhouette for Char.
