Beloved Blogs: Wendy's Lookbook/ Fabulous Muses Revisited

I've mentioned previously that I love to check out independent fashion bloggers for inspiration. I've mentioned the Fabulous Muses (check out the Read More for add'l info), but today, I'm going to introduce you to another of my faves: Wendy at Wendy's Lookbook. Her style is polished, feminine with a splash of attitude and always on point. She mixes textures like a boss. It's so much fun to see what she puts together! And also, I inevitably get some great thoughts on fashion to inspire my look :). I mentioned her magnificent Jewel Tones post recently, which inspired my purple dress inspiration board. Since then, she's been rocking great holiday season styles day in and day out, so head on over and check out her blog!

Also on my list of beloved blogs are the Fabulous Muses, a Romanian duo who rock trendy fashion of all varieties. They have a very different feel from Wendy's Lookbook. While she's polished, practical and compelling, they are glamorous risk-takers who run the gamut of style, from denim to ballgowns. Their photos are inevitably breathtaking and they're ideas...fabulous (of course!). But what I love best is that they use their blog not only to inspire real life but to take you out of it..to let you daydream wildly about magnificent looks. They create these storybook scenes, in all their full-fledged glory and leave it to you to metamorphosize them into everyday looks. Its an inspiration extravaganza.
I love reading and immersing myself in fashion concepts and wanderings, so I tend to run straight to the blogs, but both Wendy and the Muses can be followed on Instagram if you crave a quick fix ;).
