The fashion was flying thick and furious all during February! So, it's a bit unfortunate that a recent storm created technological havoc in my hometown.Sigh. Making up for lost time now though ;) Maria popped up on our style radar again, with this super-sparkly dress. The gathering at the side creates asymmetry in the hemline and makes this piece out of the ordinary! In her typical, dramatic way, she piles on more bling, with a gorgeous statement necklace. Gold shoes complete the look - although the lighting makes them look almost yellow, which would have been fun, too! During the recent German tour, Lana went casual for a meet-and-greet, donning this cherry plaid tunic and giving it a luxe lift with a fur vest. I love how the texture take the plaid to a whole new level, and the tunic length is a cool variation on the traditional shirt. Her messy braid is a beautiful, laid-back accompaniment. I'm thrilled by this clean, mature look from Eva Marie, an of-the-moment pantsuit from Bebe. The deep, plunge front adds just enough va-va-voom. The rest of the look is crisp and trendy, with the icy white giving it an appealing sharpness, particularly set against her red hair. She keeps her jewelry understated, which serves to highlight the sleek, modern styling of her one-piece outfit. Charlotte rocked our world with red, via this cutaway-halter sheath. The scalloped trim adds femininity to this classic style and makes a lovely detail. The color is the major statement here, and that works fabulously! Add a pretty pair of heels, or chic ankle booties and you're golden! I wouldn't mind seeing this look done with an a fit-and-flare dress either ;) Brie channels Audrey Hepburn with this minimalist V-neck sheath dress. No matter how many colors try to be the new black and how many pieces try to be the new little dress, the classic LBD will always be the ultimate classic. There's no getting around it's intrinsic chic. Brie completes it just as I would: with a beautiful crystal necklace, in this case a flawlessly sophisticated collar. Perfection personified! Move over, Maria...how about this KILLER number from Barbie Blank at the Grammys? This dress is just dazzling! The mockneck gives is a cool 60's nod, while the studs shade it into rocker territory...except that their magnificent, intricate patterning is all about artistry. The three-pronged statement combines for utter slayage. Barbie completes the look with a polished high bun and flirty side-swept bangs that complement the bold beauty of her dress perfectly. The slimmest strappy sandals provide the understated finish. C'est magnifique! We also get a quick peek at the much more risqué gown she switched to for the Grammy-night party at the Playboy mansion. Side cutouts, fringe and barely-there back created a much different, but still dramatic, vibe. Also in attendance was Maryse in this draped gown. The strong lines of the solid edging created an interesting play of texture against the softness of the sheer fabric in the rest of the piece. My favorite aspect of it was the powerful, structured shoulder, a throwback to both the 80's power suit and Old Hollywood glamour. Mirror-leather Giuseppe Zanotti t-straps - one of Maryse's favorite pairs, which she wore in a 2011 frenchkissmaryse.com photoshoot - complete the look. Wowza - what has happened to Becky Lynch? Girlfriend's been impressing me all over the place with her fashion lately. This cutout-neckline detailed peplum top makes a fab foil for moto pants in this black-on-black look. The simple color scheme is gorgeous with her flame hair. I would probably have gone for OTK's or ankle booties here instead of knee boots, but otherwise: flawlessly done!
The drama of this cutout sheath from Alicia Fox is eye-catching and adds a very modern twist to a plain and pretty black-and-white canvas. The risk-taking continues with her uniquely-pinned hair-do. From the angles of these shots, it might be a bit harsh for her face, but we're also not seeing it really well. What I give her mad applause for is how unusual and stand-out this look is. Foxy is never, EVER boring with style and her fearlessness in trying new things is something I adore! I also adore the polar opposite: a simple, neutral fit-and-flare dress paired with straight, flowy hair a la Brie. The warm ivory shade of this piece is one I'm head-over-stilettos for. And the complete look is sweet, graceful and gorgeous, proving that a whisper can stop you in your style tracks just as easily as a shout. She hits a smash with simplicity again as well, pairing her trademark plaid shirt with flared black denim. (As Brie's worn it, flared denim is now an official "do"). Cute black sneakers finish this sporty-grunge look. Ssly, who doesn't love a girl in plaid and denim who's ready to sprint...or spinebuster. Whichever. :)
