Barbie Blank aka Kelly Kelly was always one of my favorite divas. Even though she didn't always get a lot of respect in the ring (I think she deserved much more than she got, especially during her last year in WWE), her fashion was impeccable. She handled a number of looks with ease, always staying to the side of trendy and fierce, even when she was casual. Barbie's been busy as a bee since leaving WWE - doing a calendar, a movie, appearances and much more...not least of which was planning her wedding! I'm always thrilled to know someone has met their soulmate :) That adventure kept Barbie from doing her 2015 calendar, but she's recently announced that she will do one for 2016... woot woot! Possibly *the* most exciting things Barbie has done is to join the cast of the E! Reality series WAGS (Wives and Girlfriends of Sports Stars). It's kind of like Real Housewives with a bit of a sports twist. The very best thing about it is that it has brought Barbie back to the spotlight, so we get to see a LOT more of her fashion again #Win. And it's certainly still fierce! Her dresses for he WAGS promo material are edgy and risky, but Barbie has the body to carry it off #IAmNotWorthyBows. (If you want to see all the shots from WAGS and of Barbie's recent appearance, you need to head on over to BarbaraBlank.net STAT. (note: .com is Barbie's personal site. .net is where ya need to go for more pics and updates). Being center stage again means Barbie has gotten the chance to do more 'shoots and events and we get the chance to check out her style. She hopped on the nautical ship for a 'shoot earlier this years and also tried out the boho look that was only Everywhere this summer, as can be seen in her beaded caramel bikini. She's been shining right on her promo appearances and red carpets at well, dazzling in a red peekaboo sheath paired with nude heels and ComicCon in NY and dropping jaws the at Sue Wong fashion show in an Art Deco-inspired coord set. The black-over-nude brings out the retro-sexy of this pairing! Nude suede pointy toe pumps keep it modern. She stayed with the nude shoe look (seems to have been a favorite of hers this year) for the Art Hearts Fashion event, where she wore a glittery purple-and-sheer- mock neck dress. My hands down fave of her recent looks (followed cloely by the red ComicCon dess) is her lace illusion bodycon dress which was part of the NBC Universal press tour she did. The dress is on trend, completely gorgeous and it still has Barbie's pattented seductive aura. She switched up the shoes this time, making a strong statement with simple black pumps which are reminiscent of the Weitzman's Nudist or St. Laurent's Jane. The black shade was a perfect finishing touch, quite yet strong and not taking away anything from her dress. Yes, Barbie's still got it as far as fashion. WAGS will be the best place to catch more of it, so take a look! :-)
