I need to take a moment and say that I really love how Charlotte takes the time to share her fashion with us via her Insta. It’s one of the things that has helped me really connect with who she is outside of the ring. Thank you, Char! XO bigly. That said, let’s get to reviewing that fashion :). This spring snap shows off a pairing of a black blazer with denim shorts. It’s distinctive for a couple reasons. First, this kind of high-low pairing (note the satin lapel on the blazer) makes it stand out. I adore this kind of interplay! Swap the shorts for skinny jeans, layer a neutral tee or turtleneck underneath and wear this look right now. Second, this is such a soft, natural make-up palette for Charlotte. We get to see her dolled up and ring-ready quite often, but I love when her natural beauty gets a chance to shine through! Lastly, her hair is completely amazing here; this side part suits so incredibly well! Her next snap gives us a less-than-satisfying view of her take on Alice and Olivia’s Jeri jumpsuit (sadly sold out). This beautiful piece boats sequined floral embroidery and I hope we get to see it again (with a clear full body shot pretty please…because I need to see that shoe sitch:)) I thoroughly approve of the statement-watch-as-accessory, a Charlotte trademark which she employs to great effect. From there, she gives us another Alice and Olivia look pairing a watermelon sequined cami with wide-leg floral pants, both from the brand. The floral+shine is a super-fun pairing that gives me Dolce & Gabbana vibes and I love the way this look adds volume on the bottom – it’s a great silhouette for Char. Lastly, she gives us another pairing I’m wild over: this floral maxi dress, toughened up with heeled lace-up boots from Prada (id by fashionofthedivas.tumblr.com). I loved it so much that I did an Inspiration Board with it (here) coming from winter into spring. It would work equally well now. Feel free to swap the light wash denim jacket for a more autumnal hue: burgundy, olive, caramel or always-appropriate black.
Gail was kind enough to share a BTS Impact snap that let us catch up with a number of “lost” (and returning!) friends :). Rosa clearly hasn’t forsaken her stylish ways, as she rocked a black monochrome look that paired a cami with latex leggings and a leather jacket. The red lip gave the look a nice pop. I also love the additional texture of her chain-handled bag. Rebel topped an AC/DC (<3 that choice!) band tank with a black mini skirt. She topped the look with a zippered jacket and kept things cute comfy by rounding it out with sneakers. I think this look would have worked just as well with a tucked-in full-length tank instead of the cropped version, but, it’s Rebel, so a little extra helping of sexy is to be expected :). Christie and Gail gave us a primer on wearing one look two ways as they both chose side-striped white pants, paired with black sleeveless tops. Christie went for more relaxed vibe, leaving her tank un-tucked above her skinny pants. Flat ankle booties completed the laidback vibe. I very much love that she gave the styling a pop of color via her pink tassel necklace and a coordinating bag! Gail tucked her sheer-detailed top into her cropped straight pants. The high-waisted styles work fabulously with a look like this! Gail kept the on-trend look fierce by finishing it with peeptoe booties. A black leather crossbody bag added one more dash of texture. I am totally in for whenever Gail and Christie start a style blog together. *whispers wish to universe*. Just putting it out there. McKenzie took us to the 70s with flared white pants and a black crop top. While I’ve been borderline about some of her other explorations of this silhouette, this one comes together nicely, especially with her addition of a longline black cardigan; It brings a nice touch of polish to the outfit that elevates it in an appealing way. Katarina completed the group, wearing a divine teal top, paired with black leggings and completed with the knee boots she often favors. She topped the look with a black cropped jacket that immediately caught my eye due to its cutaway hem. What a wonderful and unique detail! Styling it over a longer top like this is a perfect way to show it off. A black leather clutch finished her look.
