Mandy offered us some memorable highlights through the winter. This blue-tinged gray two-piece dress hugs every curve! It's from Fashion Nova, which offers pieces that seem to be more to the fast-fashion side, a boon if you need a plethora of trendy outfits and likely one reason why Mandy's a big fan. Mandy has a predilection for pairing this kind of trendy piece with haute couture shoes, a pattern she follows here. These navy-and-white platform t-strap stunners are from Gucci and featured studded embellishments on the strap. (Anyone feel like blowing a tax refund with me? ;) Yes, I am that friend). If I were her, I'd pair these with EVERYthing too. In fact, I might not even need an outfit ;). She turned to Fashion Nova again for this piece, an ivory jumpsuit with a plunging v-neck. It's simple, except for the dramatic silhouette, which I find appealing. She kept the look monochrome by completing it with pale beige pumps. The platform style plays up the 70's feel of the look. If you're re-creating this outfit for an event or date night, make it cool-weather-friendly by tossing a long coat or duster-length trench over your shoulders (or wearing it unbuttoned and flowing). The fashion in Mandy's next shot is pretty plain: halter crop top, shorts, white wedge sneakers. Modern, sporty...and even though it's well-edited, still powerful! I just had to share this because it looks so dang freaking amazing! I love her poofed ponytail and her serious expression, and the way the light and shadow plays in this snap - just gorge! Def gym inspo right there! The last snap in this set - also from a photoshoot - is another of those "so hot I had to share" ones. This laser-punched suit is sexy as heck; it's like a modern, sleek, tough-as-nails eyelet! I would definitely have trouble keeping this super-deep plunge in place - even with the pair of crossed straps, but Mandy carries it off no prob. With her side-swept hair, this puts me in mind of throwbacks to the days of WWE's Tropical Paradise 'shoots and vids with Lita, Trish, Jacqueline and their compatriots.
This striped and sequined maxi dress was Mandy's choice for her New Year's celebrations. Like her previous offerings, it's from Fashion Nova. There is also a soft harlequin pattern formed by the stripes. The complexity of the fabric is offset by the minimalist - but dramatic! - silhouette, making this one of my favorites of Mandy's selections. The glamorous 70's vibe of the piece is both spot on trend and perfect for a party occasion like New Year's. Her Gucci sandals (described above) complete the look. As much as I'm a fan of this dress, it's topped by my attraction to Mandy's final look. She combined an ivory sweater embellished with pulls and tears with red wide-leg sailor pants. A black fur vest added texture and warmth. The color combination here is classic. The look is also one of the most subtle and polished we've seen from Mandy (which explains my attraction to it! ;)).I love how it kisses her curves and shows enough - there's no way to miss the fact that her body is smoking! - but without bearing everything. The destroyed areas of her sweater bring a very Mandy-esque modern, urban-girl twist to this look which makes it distinctively hers, but you could also do the look with a non-destroyed sweater without losing any of the easy luxe that makes this outfit so fabulous.
It figures that I'd end up way behind right at the moment Sasha decides to unleash a line-up of fashion slayage. This first dress is hella'amazing! Sasha's in-ring looks are habitually fantastic, but I often feel like she doesn't quite achieve the same flawless cataclysm of personality and style with her streetwear...but here? She SMASHES it! This LBD with its pretty, slim straps and net-detail front is the most perfect expression of boss attitude, confidence and brazen, edgy street style that I have seen her do up 'til now. It's such a flawless choice I can't even! Mad raves. She completes it with just-right black OTKs. From that glorious moment, she wowed me again with a super unusual choice for her - an off-shoulder tee paired with a floaty skirt. The look is done all in dark neutrals, which I can 100% get behind. It also has a softness and ballet-dancer-like femininity that I did not expect from Sasha. I LOVE seeing divas ;) do things with style that I don't expect - so that was the first awesome thing. To see her do it with such a sure hand is even more thrilling. Brava, Sash! She added what looks to be black tights - perfect for cool weather, skip-able during warmer days. You could take this look quite classic by finishing it with ballet flats, or go for something more Sasha-esque - like ankle booties :). Her final look is back to the trend-influenced style we've tended to see from her, but this flowy Fashion Nova jumpsuit uses a surprising-from-Sasha antique rose shade. As with her previous look, I LOVE seeing her experiment and this color works beautifully on her. She also gets Fierce points for giving the wide-leg look a try and rocking them. I don't know if this is the beginning of a more feminine era from our favorite Boss or just a slight segue but either way, it's seriously fun to see and a solid inspiration not to get stuck in a style rut, but to keep on playing with things until you find you!
