Oggh..how is it possible to look so casual and so chic at the same time?! Barbie slayed in this set from Kyna Collection that pairs wide-leg drawstring pants and a double-breasted duster-length jacket. She layered a cropped beige top below for a perfect dose of color. I'm head-over-heels for the way this outfit, despite doubtless being super-comfortable and laidback, also retains plenty of sophistication. These are not your everyday drawstring pants! And the ultra-long jacket makes a huge, stylish statement. It's fab from stem to stern! Next, she subtly got her USA on with this vintage-tinged polka dot bikini (this is the only time I'm ever grateful for something not being yellow!) from Frankie's Bikinis. I love that it's Fourth Of July appropriate without being the expected stars-and-stripes iteration. The red trim brings a spark to the set, as well as a modern touch that keeps it fresh and current. With her flowing blonde hair, sunnies and a drink her hand, Barbie is the picture of a flawless, dreamed-about summer day! From there, she heads into punk territory with this sweatshirt dress from Mistress Rocks. The length of this piece makes it quite versatile. For summer it works just as Barbie has styled it: as a mini dress, paired with strappy sandal-booties and a chain-handled bag that enhances the punk vibe. For transitional days, add fishnet stockings and motorcycle boots to head even further down Avenue Punk. For winter, it metamorphosizes easily into a tunic: style it with leggings and OTK boots...and possibly a thermal underneath ;). It gets all fierce-grunge when Barbie layers a House of CB scoopneck cami and cut-off jean shorts below an H & M oversize jacket. Barbie has become quite fond of this mid-length style topper this year; we've seen her use it several times with great effect, adding a fun shot of panache to whatever look she incorporates it in. An Hermes belt and Guess peeptoe OTK boots round off this look with a hint of flash and a big dose of attitude. She got serious about Western-wear for a Dierks Bentley concert, going with fringed beige knee-high boots, which completed a cropped white tank and cut-off white jean shorts combination. She didn't leave out the fierce though: she topped the ensemble with a strappy-sleeved jacket from Hot Miami Styles (which reminds me of the sleeves of this jacket of Sasha's). It brings a definite urban, trendy vibe to a classic Americana look. A much sweeter variation of summer was the theme for her next look: white paper bag shorts (the Norma from Wildfox Couture, available in chambray here) - don't you just adore the pretty bow? - with the Free People bodysuit in grounding olive. She adds delicate white lace-up sandals and a white bag, keeping the overall look light, while her refined high bun adds sophistication.
We don't get to see a ton of Beth's fashion these days, but she always manages to make an impression. Here, she's laidback and breezy in a high-neck black tank top and blue denim. My favorite part is that she completes the look with black pumps for an extra bit of polish. Her smooth straight hair (I just love her new, shorter style! It's cute and sassy!), bold eyes and rose lips complete this simple look with unstudied chic. I have a small amount of grumpiness for the wide-leg jumpsuit trend because it's so hard to tell if pieces are jumpsuits or maxi dresses..sigh #FashionBloggerProblems. Regardless, this whatever-it-is looks fab on Brandi. I'm a huge fan of the curve-creating tie-waist detail. She styled it with a Louis Vuitton bag HUGE props for the way that piece blends black and brown, making it super versatile!) and pretty sandals - voilá: instant summer outfit. Approximate creation and putting-on time: 45 seconds. With a look that easy, even I might be on time :). Wow does she ramp up the drama for her next outfit! This kind of attitude isn't something we get too often from Brandi's street fashion, so it is a jazz seeing her do it! She combines Cody's American Nightmare tee (which is completely awesoooome, btw! And a fab graphic piece to inject some attitude into a look) with black coated leggings and OTK boots. A sexy DIY cut-out in front ramps up the va-voom, as does Brandi's gorgeous smoky eye. Her cranberry lip shade echoes the red in the tee in the most perfect way. This is fierce-fashion heaven! She goes from strength to strength, because I'm equally in love with her next look. She pairs a burgundy velvet bodysuit with a beautiful rose appliqué with distressed gray denim (from Frame) and rose-embellished champagne-hued anklebooties. The myriad of roses makes a bold statement and I could see them making the look too sweet but for Brandi's excellent choice of distressed denim. The tough, torn fabric brings this opulent femininity right to earth in the most glorious way. Her use of color - two neutrals, one with appliqué that echoes her top, and the warm shot of wine - ties together beautifully without feeling super-matchy. The look melds fairytale beauty with modern attitude - it's hard to get more flawless than that! Brie is back on our radar in this Estrella striped midi dress from ASTR The Label (thanks to Fashion Of The Divas tumblr for the id). The mostly white pattern is summer-ready, while the slim black stripes make it visually lengthening for the body...as well as being a trendy and breezily (brie-zily? :)) fun pattern. My favorite part of her styling is the spot on-trend super-wide striped black waist belt. Without it, the dress has a careless, drape-y, boho quality. With it, the dress gets a keener attitude - still casual, but more confidently stylish. It's the perfect exclamation point!
