Maryse was rocking white on not one, but two occasions recently and no wonder: it's one of the summer's hottest looks! First, she attended a poker night fundraiser for Tower Cancer Research. Her white mock-neck dress is made of a fabulous, luxurious quilted material and accented with gazillions of crystals. It's chic and glam and oh so thoroughly Maryse. Let's just take a moment, shall we? ...She finished the look with nude pointy heels and topped it off with a sleek, top-knot bun. I love the refined sophistication of this outfit! Maryse does it again with her second white look: a white suit done with shorts and a cropped jacket, matched with a blush bodysuit. I'm a huge fan of the casual polish of a shorts-suit for summer. It has the chic, fierce vibe of a suit, but the relaxed effect of shorts. Maryse finishes the look with her new, world-dominating Valentino Rockstud heels. Also looking fantastically chic is Natalya in a modern, sophisticated LBD with sheer insets. I'm really enjoying her decision to finish this look with these maple brown horsebit ankle strap sandals (by Gucci). Nude or camel is a classic pairing with black, but this slightly darker shade of warm brown looks amazing, as well as being a bit more unique! Lana looks gorgeous in this powder blue mockneck cutout crop top and pencil skirt set. While the silhouette of her top is flawlessly on trend and makes this outfit fierce and modern, the real standout to me is this incredible color! It happens to be one of those shades that flatters many hair/skin tone combinations, including (clearly) fair and blonde :). Her black lace-up sandals bring some additional edge to this look. I could also see finishing it with bright white, vibrant blue, gray seude or silver metallic. I was thrilled to see Dana bring out this look a few weeks ago; it's such a perfect pairing for her! The high-neck, cutaway-shoulder style looks wonderful on her, while the cropped style highlights her curves. The leather-esque accents toughen up the look in a subtle, but sexy way. She matched it black skinny pants that ramp up the edgy vibe. And her coup de grace is these crave-worthy studded pointy-toe pumps. Like...yes! That is how you complete a black-on-black ensemble! bold earrings and a spiked collar necklace add a touch more texture and sheen to this rocker-inspired styling. Nikki brought a more subtle rocker touch to her Las Vegas trip with this white lace-up top, paired with distressed denim. I love how the ruffled cap sleeves bring femininity to this look, which plays nicely against the harsher feel of the torn denim. She took the look from "classic summer pairing" to "off-duty rockstar" by the addition of the wide, black choker necklace, which brings a great twist of fierce to the outfit. We don't get to see her shoes, but studded gladiators or block-heeled black ankle boots would work nicely here. I'd also be on board with a black leather belt (even a studded one!;)) to echo her black necklace. Maryse switched from one neutral to it's oposite, showing off this bodycon LBD earlier this summer. She added an elegant - and trendy- dimension to the look by topping it with an olive duster. It reminds me of a dress version of her tv style :)...and it works just as well outisde the ring. She completed the pairing with strappy sandals from Schutz (a brand that is well worth checking out, as they habitually make covetable shoes! :))
Charlotte borrowed the palette from Maryse's shorts-suit as she attended the opening of the Special Olympics CT Summer Games. She commented on one pic that she hoped she wouldn't ruin the white pants in the first five minutes, for whihc she gets a mental hat-tip and solidarity from me :) #StainMagnetsUnite. Her blush/nude pairing works as well as Maryse's. Her classy pants are the spot-on appropriate choice for this event, while the cropped jacket elevates the pairing to something more unique than a classic suit. Her beloved Kendall+Kylie Abi's finish the outfit. I couldn't resist calling out this pic of Maria. Not only is she wearing a super cute gym outfit (this deep aqua shade is gorge! And I love the capri leggings :)), but she's sitting in the middle of what appears to be a ruined villa that looks like something out of Moschino's 2016 Fall runway show, with its "Lit" theme and climactic chandelier dress. Maria refers to the dwelling as her next "project", so I'm imagining she's about to start renovating it into the magical home of her dreams. I wish her quantities of luck with her new adventure...and would like to mention that I can't wait to see the photos from the 'shoot opportunities that must inevitably arise from such an undertaking. I know, I know...it's always all about the fashion to me :) Ooopsies? ;)
