This is one of the simpler looks we’ve seen from Eva Marie: she pairs a white button down top with destroyed blue denim. I love the way she’s styled her top by layering it over a bodysuit, instead of the more expected semi-sheer shirt over bra look. This keeps the modernity, but adds class and sophistication, especially since Eva left only the top two buttons of her blouse undone, letting the sexy lacing details of her bodysuit be subtext rather than a focal point. The styling is a fantastic way to transition the sultry summer bodysuit+jeans look to fall, as well as a wonderful way to make use of the fact that so many white shirts today are at the very least semi-transparent (which is a pet peeve of mine that I won’t rant about now ;)). Eva uses fierce sandals to complete this look with panache. She ramps up the seduction with her next ensemble, an off-the-shoulder graphic tee with a fab biker-punk vibe with gray destroyed denim and strappy black sandals. Her shoe choice elevates this cool look dramatically. For fall, the sandals could be swapped for pointy ankle boots. If this floral bikini looks familiar, it’s because we’ve also seen Emma wear it. The piece (now sold out) was offered through Eva’s NEM line. I love it just as much on Eva as I did on Emma. I also love this pale lemon sundress on Gail! How incredibly pretty is this piece? Not only is there the gorgeous color, there is the feminine sweetheart neckline, fit-and-flare shape and enchanting lace hem. Everything about this dress is lighthearted and joyful. She paired it with beige espadrilles for a look that is quintessentially summer. She added a touch of flash with her hoop earrings, but her best accessory may be that glass of white wine ;). (unless it’s champagne, in which case it’s def her best accessory!). The bittersweet halter-neck jumpsuit that forms her next look is a much more modern affair. I love the way this color looks on her, especially with her dark hair. I’d have loved to see her try a darker lip hue (warm gold, cranberry, dusty eggplant) as an exclamation point for this look. In her IG posts she makes a note that she probably won’t wear the piece again because it’s impossible to go the restroom in it, which made me smile and feel such solidarity – oh, the issues affect all of us fashionistas! The struggle is so real. She’s spot on and it’s one of the reasons I’m very careful about what versions of this type of piece I go for (#ShoppingCaveats).
This black romper is a major win for Lana one every level. This lace piece with its self-hem and pom-pom edging is totally stunning. It’s sexy, delicate, feminine and beautiful. Even with all the frills, the black color keeps it grounded. She accentuates the intricacy with a dainty choker that still has a significant presence due to its width, but she brings back the solidity with a triple-stone statement ring and simple but bold leather ankle-strap sandals. The styling is perfectly balanced between sweetness and grit and it looks amazing! How about this totally fab workout look from Laurel? I’m wild over the neon melon paired with black; it’s the perfect blend of energizing color and grounding darkness. I’ve always been a fan of the flattering square-neck silhouette and this top is a perfect example of why: it’s hot, classy and functional all the same time. She adds a spark with white sneakers, but black would work equally well. Marye has been loving her Louboutin Gypsandals (and who wouldn’t?!); she’s been wearing them with everything lately. I love that she’s getting so much mileage out of these gorgeous shoes. Not only do I enjoy getting to rave over them again and again, but it’s a wonderful demo of how versatile a great pair of shoes can be. We’ve seen her use them with formal gowns and simple dresses, but her she uses them with a more complicated embroidered sheath from House Of CB. They’re a similar blend of modernity and femininity, proving that cohesiveness is as stylishly powerful as contrast. I’m a huge fan of her mid-height pony; it’s in keeping with the rest of the look – sleek and beautiful. Maria has never shied away from glitter and glam and she was all about it with this sequined top and fringed skirt pairing. There’s a lot of complexity here – especially because of the visual lines created by the way the top ends, which she added to with her strappy booties. It makes the look a rare miss for one of my favorite style queens. Tucking her top in might have helped simplify the impression, as would more straightforward footwear – I’m envisioning ankle strap sandals or minimalist ankle booties. Her next look features a gaawwwwgeous floral appliqué dress from BCBG that’s completely crave-worthy. She pairs it with on-trend nude pumps (although I admit the platform silhouette is looking a bit dated to me these days; I’d have rathered a single sole choice here) and adds a fun dose of sexy humor with a lip-shaped purse. I looove her hair: the volume, the cascade of curls, the draped-over-one-eye bangs: it all screams “sexy!”
