It's been awhile since we've done a FashionHap...and longer since we've done some salivating over gear. So, here is your long-awaited drooling. #BringYourOwnBeachTowel :). HIAC and it's accompanying matches were all about sheers and reds. Nikki changed up her famous, flawless, Fearless gear to include a triangle-shape cup, made crazy sexy with a sheer panel completing the rest of the halter style. She reprised the sheer fabric at the sides of her shorts: oo la la! The brilliant white and smooth fabric give this ensemble an icy clean, fierce feel. And she brought in a touch of her favorite red with slim, studded piping and lettering. I'm totally attracted to the straightforward, pared-down boldness of this version of her gear! Charlotte has added crosspieces to her bralette-style top, which brings a nice twist to a classic look. She also debuted this smoking (literally) flame print version of her gear. I'm glad she kept her top and bottoms matching and let this pattern take the spotlight. The fiery trim helps tie the look together. This is a super-strong print, and Charlotte rocks it! It's ideally suited to the blazing warmth of her personality Her beloved stud belt completes the look perfectly; the studs catch the light and make it look like real fire! Ooo - maybe she could add a light sprinkle of copper studs all over this print next time around to enhance that look :) Carmella also caught our attention with not one, but TWO, very awesome gear ensembles. Her style has always struck me as being relentlessly NYC-meets-Jersey-Shore: a bit wild, but it works! Her first ensemble (and my fav of the pair) matches a cap-sleeve crop top with a sheer inset and leather shorts. It's the studs at her shoulders that give this look a bit of an 80's vibe and make it really stand out! Knee socks and camo sneakers complete the outfit. Her next offering replicates the sheer+leather hookup in a halter style. Touches of leopard print at the base of her top and at her waist bring out the brassy, in-yo-face fierceness that Carmella is a fan of. And making us fans of as well! :) The hands down Style Queen of the WrestleMania 32 On-Sale party was Lana. No question. This one-shoulder LBD is a brilliant demo of exactly why every girl's closet needs a little black dress. Maybe 3...or 7..teen :D. It's completely timeless and utterly, divinely chic. You pair this with any pair of fabulous shoes - in this case, it's ankle strap sandals, but really it could be almost any pair in Lana's closet :) - and that's it. Style dies, because you killed it. And the next time you pull this dress out of your armoire, style is resurrected. Over and over, forever, world without end. For proof, see Lana.
Summer goes a bit more modern in her various tv turns. Her two-piece sets seem to be her new trademark and lace+pencil skirt seems to be a fav. We saw it before in coral, but here she's paired black lace with a sparkling mini and cute t-strap sandals. It feels very Bebe, very Guess, very sexy party girl. It works, we love love it and life goes on. Ditto the leopard crop top and black pencil skirt. I love this aesthetic; it has a wonderful vintage-modern tension and the added appeal of being hot as Hel(sinki). I would love, however, to see her switch up a little bit now and again: a romper, a plunge-front pantsuit, a thigh-high-slit maxi skirt instead of a mini. Just now and again, ya know? She's back to lace+pencil skirt again in her latest tv appearance, this time in blue - and that color is to die for! It look AMAZING on pretty much anyone and it's thoroughly fab on Summer! #MorePlease :) Fashion killage of this edition of FashionHap goes to none other than Nikki for this jaw-dropping set from her Instagram. This is that whole LBD thing again, this time in a high-neck style, but it's kicked into Rihanna-territory: criss-crossed bandage straps, studs..oh my! Based on the look of the piece on its retailer ReveBoutique's site, I'm guessing Nikki put a black slip under this to make a hint more demure, but also more coquettish! LOVE that! I also love the buckled ankle boots she closed the look with: YUM. #HowItsDone101.
