As we move into mid-December, we get a great urban chic look form Charlotte and a LOT of party inspiration from the Bellas! Charlotte totally got my attention with this black-on-black look! I love the texture of her fitted top, especially matched with the smooth sheen of her leather leggings and the velvety look of her suede OTK's. Not only does this outfit look aaaaaahmazing on her body, it's s flawless example of how mixing textures can bring drama and interest to an outfit that's otherwise quite minimalistic. Loving this look! The Bellas have always shone in the area of party and event dressing and, this month, they've given us a line-up to be alive for! Ivory is incredibly beautiful choice for the holidays and the Twins showcase different aspects of it here at the Diamonds Unleashed event. Brie's maxi dress gets an arts-and-crafts feel from bold stitching and leather applique. It's a subtle boho vibe with a big couture feel. the uniqueness of this dress makes it event-appropriate! Ivory with gold has always been a fav combination of mine and this high-neck mixed stripe fit and flare dress of Nikki's might just be my #1 of this set because of it. This magnificent piece is a perfect blend of understated sparkle and bold, feminine style. It's perfect for special events, but also for holiday dances and parties as well because of the metallic. Simply breathtaking! From ivory, Brie transitioned to black for the evening part of the DU event. The dramatic bodycon silhouette of this dress (the Juliet from Free People, available here, in both ivory and black) is set off by monochromatic embroidery for a jawdroppingly chic ensemble. I'm a fan of Brie's choice of tiny jewelry to set off her neckline. I could also see going jewelry-free with this look. I love her addition of warm and textural fur to create a luxurious counterpoint to this fabulous dress. Next up, it's Nikki's turn to go dark as she rocks another pantsuit, this one a seductive black-lace-over-nude lining turtleneck version. This piece gives me the idea of femme fatale-meets-secret-agent; it's sexy, powerful and bit dangerous! Her slick, confident ponytail is just the right kind of hairstyle to pair with this look. It's de rigeur among current trendsetters to go for that hint of lingerie show-through as Nikki has, but if you're the more demure type, a bodysuit beneath this piece would give you a bit more coverage/peace of mind :). Last up is Brie's metallic turtleneck asymmetrical sheath which inspired some of our Holiday Party looks. This is a fantastic option: it's trendy and artsy due to the unusual hemline, fancy due to the bit of metallic, and winter-ready because of the high neck and long sleeves. Brie's nude lace-up sandals really make this outfit come alive, by keeping the palette neutral and adding a second texture...and a blast of fierce! Where more metallic could easily have been over-the-top, these are just right. #BellaSlaysAgain
