Gotta lotta fashion to talk re:, so...let's talk :) This look from Brie is completely aaaaahhmazing! I'm not normally a fan of the see-through look, mainly because it's often a bra that we're seeing through the whatever and it's tough to make that look classy. However, Brie sidesteps that whole fashion trap by going with the crop top part of a coord set underneath and that makes all the difference! It adds functional warmth to the coord set and looks sleek, fierce and holiday ready. The nubbly texture of her sweater (by Free People, a brand Brie has been favoring lately and one of my personal faves) above the whte makes me think of snow, and that's accentuated by her fuzzy gray scarf. Her polished bun is a flawless way to finish off this fabulous look, which just might be my fav of this FH set. We haven't gotten to see much of Bayley's style, other than her wild n' wooly ring gear, but this causal look absolutely rocks! She's matched a classic-trendy flannel with wine jeans, knee-high black boots and a gray peacoat. It's a fantastic blend of textures, and colors, looking pulled together without being matchy-matchy. Smashing casual looks are always fun and not easy to elevate from "I couldn't care less" to "fashionista", so hopefully, we'll get to see more like this from Bay! Charlotte's flame gear was hot, but this red-lace-over-nude is waaay gorgeous! It's definitely one of her best gear renditions. The fabric is beautiful and sexy, without being busy or overdone. Now, that's how ya do it, girl! #LaceWithFlair Natalya posted this Paris throwback shot on her instagram and it was instalove for me! Classically Parisian-chic striped+collared top, paired with skinny jeans and finished with Nattie's trademark peplum blazer = cool sophistication. Translation: slay me. I'm also loving her fierce ankle booties. Smooth leather with attitude is a perfect way to add some power to your femme ;) There are few things as perfect and wardrobe-necessary as the white blouse. Nikki shows off a magnificent one here that caresses her shape and flows beautifully. She's paired it with leather leggings in an earthy camel tone, which I love -it makes a nice change from black and is a wonderful warm neutral for the cool winter months. Chunky-heeled lace-up boots and fur coat give this look an off-duty rocker vibe that's both casual and stylish. #LongLiveTheFearless Lana headed back to her prim look, but with a nice twist thrown in: a maritime theme,d emo'd by her sailor pencil skirt and a super-cute collared button-down. She sparked this looked with a strong, statement collar (PS collars are soooo hot rn) and metallic pointy-toe pumps. This is exactly how polished (never fussy) fabuosity is done. #AllHailLana ...(yes, I'm seeing how many hashtags I can create for a single post lol).
There is a graphic, architectural quality to cutouts that give modern attitude to the classic sheath. That's exactly what we see with Eden's choice of dress. This look is fresh and current, but my favorite part is the intense color; it's vibrant and exciting! She cools it off with soft white heels - a unique and fabulous pairing! A touch of sparkle at her wrist and voila: event-ready and stunning in jig-time! (PS check out beingbrandirunnels.com for more details on Eden's style). You can pair a bright dress with light heels, OR you can pair a light dress with colored heeled. Iteration #2 is shown off her by Brooke during her birthday revelries. I love the smooth, sexy mock-neck styling of this bodycon dress and the jacquard-esque patterning bringing intriguing texture. I'm not sure if there's some sparkle in there as well, but I would be ttly on board if there were ;). Brooke's oh-so-fab shoes are Steve Madden's Slithur...seriously, how hot can ya get? Steve Madden is one of my fav go-to designers when I'm looking for a designer look without pawning something valuable :). If you're a boot girl, his Freebird line is drool-worthy). Lastly, we so rarely get to see Brooke in an up-do and, based on these shots, that is sooooo sad. This high, braided bun is just...like.ooogh that bun though! #MustTry And then the world ended. And then it started up again because Brooke told it to :) Last look of this FH: this lovely burnout bodycon dress worn by Renee. Velvet is being resurrected as a fabric by a lot of designers right now and it's an incredible choice for fall/winter. The plush texture is amazing when paired with satin, silk, nappy flannel or even denim. The sheen never fails to look luxurious. Burnout, or devore, velvet undergoes a treatment process where some of the fibers are dissolved to create a pattern on the remaining material. It's a very formal and regal look, dress down just a smidge by the short length and given a fun, party-appropriate accent by Renee's side French braid -another awesome look I hope we get to see more of. Sadly, we don't get to see her shoes here, but I'm envisioning fab sandals in metallic leather or colored suede :)
