I have dreams everyday of posting like four, five, six reviews for you all...and it keeps not happening. But, just so you know, I love y'all and I have the bestest intentions of giving you style review presents...and one of these days I will make it happen :). With that, to fashion! First of all, shoutout to Charlotte for the GNR tee! I kind of envy her that...and also I am incalculably jealous that she saw the original line-up live. I have had the op 2x in my life and missed it both times. But I'm over it. It's not like they're one of my fav bands or anything. :) Anyway, I hope that show was amazeballs, Char! And I <3 that you <3 a band I do. And that's all :). From there, let's move to a very GNR-worthy piece of fashion: this slashed (see what I did there? :)) bodysuit worn by Barbie Blank. Like omg jaw-drop, right? How would like to be able to workout in something like that? For real - this is workout wear. I dare *any* diva to come up with a hotter workout outfit than this slightly boatnecked, distressed one-piece. Add a jumprope and some fab make-up and voila: scalding. This is photoshoot-worthy, with a pair of fierce booties added. Or finish it with black sneakers and go lift some iron :) Or, just enjoy Barbie slaying in it. This a de rigeur Eden dress: mosaic pattern, sparkly, completely ring-announcer-worthy. What I love about it -and what makes it stand out- is her super-pretty ponytail, complete with front bangs. We tend to see Eden leave her hair long with these dresses but I find the way this chic, vivacious pony adds a playful, bouncy note to a glam dress. PS her shoes are soooo gorge too! A lot of the ladies share 'shoot snippets on the IGs, which I steered away from for fear of pre-empting a review when the shoot came out, but as that doesn't see to be happening, prepare to see more bits and BTS's in FashionHaps. This one from Lana is a perfect (not to mentioning scalding!) example. She's paired a lacy, barely-there gown with high-waisted unmentionables in what is a beautiful, but also daring, snap. There's no way this'll work as street fashion - although an adaptation might be an interesting challenge. I'll keep that in mind :)- but I don't care. It looks fab and I wanted to share it with you :). I love her side-swept hair; it's sexy on a much more approachable level than her ice-goddess persona often lets us see. And the single pop of color coming from her bright magenta lips provides just the right spark for this boudoir-inspired look. Lastly, it is necessary to call out Maria for this classic red bodycon dress. This shade goes more to the apple shade and it looks stunning on her. The zippered detail adds the dash of sassiness we'd expect from the First Lady of Impact. If you decide to stray from black, red is definitely a place to head to for an iconic dress. See Maria for details ;). We just miss seeing her shoes here, but I'm envisioning fierce black sandals. Of course, she could have gone with trendy nude sandals as well. Oooor, thrown a curveball and done chic navy. Oh, the possibilities! Oh my my my Maryse! The Queen's latest look of choice seems to be bodysuits paired with statement dusters and killer shoes, a genre that works fine in my book. And when I say "works fine", I essentially mean "leaves me speechless, drooling and temporarily incapacitated". This bodysuit has a sheer quality, which lends additional depth to this look. The power of this outfit, though, comes from this metallic duster - a statement piece if ever there was one! She pairs it with lace-up OTKs - craveworthy footwear that doesn't compete with her coat solely because of the excellent choice of black suede. A bold collar, also in black, with crystal embellishment brings a unifying addition of sparkle. Maryse gets serious props here for blending trendy elements with bold glam, to create a modern, dazzling look.
She also gives us a streetwear version of that concept, tossing a leather jacket over a bodycon LBD. She gives it panache via her grunge-glam spiked platform stilettos. It's straight-up Maryse: sexy, stylish and fabulous. Dark glam seems to be an emerging theme: Nikki Bella embraces it with this sleeveless leather top, paired with gray skinny jeans. I'm a huge fan of the gray-with-black combo; it's a great way to go dark without doing black monochrome. She adds a pinch of red via her blood red nail color, which serves to bring added intensity to the look, while a beaded pendant provides a nice touch of texture. Red and black was Sasha's choice as well, as she visited the Ferrari factory near Modena during WWE's April Euro tour. She paired a cross-front, flowy top with leggings and suede OTK boots. She added a leather jacket as a topper. This look has a nice presence due to the interesting and varied mix of textures - soft, silky georgette, velvety suede, smooth leather - which makes it one of my favorite recent street style outfits from Sasha.
