I’m really am dang grateful for Instagram! With Impact’s photography kinda on the fritz, it’s one of the few ways we get to keep up with the style of those ladies over there. And they have style we wouldn’t want to miss! Maria wore an LBD to a recent Impact event and it is anything but basic. I love the way the satin is pieced in strips; it gives the dress such a cool, almost distressed-glam quality, which is heightened by the sequins peeking through underneath. She chose to complete it with a platform pump, done in a very right now color: nude. The color choice and pairing is a great way to keep these shoes current. I also could envision going with a brash, punk-influenced black leather ankle boot here (thinking these, but could see a hybrid like these too) for a bit of a rebellious glitter. And then Maria chopping her hair and bleaching it. No, just kidding! :) The other thing I could love here is a choker. We also got a rare look at some actual (as in non-gym :)) style from Michelle McCool. She was on vacation in St. Thomas, wearing this pretty navy halter dress, with a chic midi length. Nude lace-up sandals finished the look, which she spiked with statement earrings – always a trademark look of hers – and oversize sunglasses. It’s so great to see her style again! *Brie has a moment* *sighs and moves on* The multi-braids are a new thing of Michelle’s and I’m loving the low bun styling – also something new for her! Summer, like the Bellas, has been all over magazines lately. This shot is from her recent spread in Nationalist. Her white crochet-embellished set is from Australian brand Sabo. She accented the look with a gold fringed bangle – so pretty! – and added a cranberry lip for an extra punch. I’m not 100% sure how I feel about the cranberry; it might be a bit of a strong contrast with the floaty loveliness of the rest of her ensemble. What do you think? This two-tone dress worn by Charlotte is the Desra by Alice and Olivia (available at Nordstrom ). It combines a white lace top with a black crepe skirt in a single piece. I absolutely LOVE this dress on Charlotte. It’s flawless example of dressing perfectly for your body type. The top-half/bottom-half design defines the waist, while the a-line style skirt creates visual curves. If, like Char, you’re a straighter shape, take note – this is the kind of styling you want in your “Inspirations” file. Char completed the outfit with black minimalist sandals, which look incredibly chic! This look is absolutely spot on and slays every way. Brava, Charlotte! Meanwhile, in Foxy-Fierce land, Alicia was doing this with photographer Chad Martel. Other than the first look – and I’ll rave over that in a min -, she had basically a photographic jam session that kind of reminds me of her version of the Blank Space video. She tried out a whole range of looks, all enlivened by her vivacious personality and creativity. She gives us snippets of her blazing through several looks, beginning with a Jenny-from-the-block variation, done in low-riding denim, leopard briefs, a black brassiere, a gray sweatshirt and a baseball cap, captioned “Famous”. Between the amazing fashion choices and her attitude just slamming into the lens, the snap is the epitome of cool! She switches from that to chic and fierce, pairing a black bodysuit with OTK’s and topping it with a beautiful blazer casually tossed over one shoulder and a fur stole. She morphs easily into money-is-no-object, world-dominating starlet. She plays right along with the character, changing expressions from “back tf up” to hauteur. And then, she swaps yet again: this time to luxe 70’s girl, all lace and leather and wide leg pants and artisanal jewelry. This Foxy is glamorous, but much more of the world… the kind of woman you see walking down the street and wish you could copy. It completely blows my mind how competently and comfortably she handles all these roles. I wish WWE would let her loose like this onscreen more than they have. She is just so much fun! And I also hope we get the full, clear shots of these ‘shoots so we can really savor all her work! Lastly, I need to head back to that gorgeous printed dress Foxy wore. The print and colors are intricate and romantic and I’m head-over-stilettos for those puffed and ruffled sleeves! They have this sweet, vintage vibe that’s just amazing! Foxy’s gold-edges sunglasses remind us that this snap is, indeed, done in the modern world, though, as does the contrasting metal bench. She accessorized with a gold watch and statement ring. This look is so feminine, quite different in feel from her photoshoot looks…but equally stunning!
