I love a lot about this look from Mickie! I love that it feels like her, channeling her glam side. I love that it reminds me of something LayCool would wear. I love the irony of Mickie rocking a LayCool look – she’s a long way from Piggy James, babes! The crystal belt gives this ensemble the Western vibe we often see Mickie dabble in, but the pinstriped vest throws in a slightly masculine and very polished curveball that give the pairing a kind of throwback cool. Her pin-straight hair was a perfect choice, bringing sleekness and modernity to the look. She completed it with OTKs in suede – hard to go wrong with that extra shot of fierce! I’m also digging this look from Natalya. It’s the kind of classicism we’d expect from her in terms of this gorgeous LBD, but that sweetheart neckline? Bring me a fan -that’s hot! Her beauty look is perfection as well. Her shimmery eyes and mauve lip feel uncontrived and look stunning! Nattie’s big glam tv looks are amazing, but I also enjoy seeing her do softer stylings, like this one that seem like something she would wear when she’s not working, just being her gorgeous self. LBD’s were having a moment for her, as she wore another in a midi length during her tour of China. The minimalist aesthetic rules, as she accents it with black pointy pumps, a Louis Vuitton bag, oversize sunnies and nothing else. It’s edited, subtle and oh so chic! Although, I almost missed it because I was totally focusing on what has to e the cutest dragon I have ever seen. That yellow fuzzball is totes adorable and I want one! Yes, I realize it’s someone in a costume. I’m not interested in the someone, but the costume? I want to stick that in a corner of my room and hug it for about a hundred years. Lastly, Nattie attended a Red Sox game at Fenway Park (woot woot – hope she said hello to the Green Monster while she was there :) ) and threw out the first pitch wearing this casually sexy lace-up top, blue jeans and knee-high leather boots. She gets massive props just for throwing a pitch in three inch heels. And even if she weren’t throwing a baseball, this look would still rock – it’s the perfect hybrid of laidback sophistication. Nikki was busy promoting her and sister Brie’s new wine, Belle Radici, released this fall on the Daily Pop in this strapless floral tunic. She paired it with black slim pants, creating her favorite color combo of black and red. The tunic length is a fun variation to see her work with and this straightforward look is very effective and appropriate. We don’t get to see her shoes, but my bet is black pointy pumps. I couldn’t resist including a peek at the lovely label that references the twins’ involvement with the wine. I love the dark femininity of this lace-embellished peplum top from Noelle. She paired it with black leggings and who knows what for shoes :). Knowing her penchant for sneakers, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she went with them here, but the formality of this top would lead me to reach for pointy pumps, or at least leather ankle boots with this look. Put her next outfit in your fashion files for next summer: a white cotton dress (or top and skirt combo), embellished with embroidery, broderie anglaise or the like and garnished with a flame red lip. Simple, stunning, done. Finish with white espadrilles or red sneakers for that perfect American-girl-next-door vibe. Stephanie forayed into jumpsuit territory with this black and white number. The lines on the piece are used in such an interesting way to visually enhance shape and it’s not at all demure! It’s a ton of fun to see Steph step out in something like this, that’s a bit riskier than we often see from her. This blend of power and sensuality works really well! Black heels are the first thing to come to mind to complete this look, but white ones – as a nod to the current accessories trend – would also have been fab! Now please excuse me while I go crush on her delicate pointer finger ring.
Summer’s looks from 2016’s NY Fashion Week rocked my world and her new ensembles form this year pretty much repeated the feat. This dress, from Dubai-based brand OTT, is a glorious cacophony of colors and ruffles. The buttons on the bodice let it be styled more or less seductively, depending on the occasion and the wearer’s choice. Despite the vibrancy and frills, the wide color-block type stripe keep the piece cohesive and appealing to the eye. Summer cooled the bright hues with a shot of silver via Vince Camuto metallic pumps – a gorgeous color combination! From there, she moved on to an off-the-shoulder top by Sandra Daccache, which featured a fabulous and distinctive satin halter-style neckline. She paired the piece with flared leg white pants from House of CB and rounded out the look with black Louboutin pumps. I love the way this look combines sharp modernity with flowing 70’s silhouettes!
