SummerSlam brought us it's usual line-up of gorge gear and we are breakin' it down for ya! Kim: Not only did Natalya become the new Smackdown Live Women's Champion on Sunday, she totally wow'd us in this pink and black embellished body suit. The Queen of (Black) Harts came down to the ring sporting a black and pink jacket, that was very reminiscent of her Uncle, Bret Hart. I think what I love most about this gear is the V cluster of crystals on the top and along her neckline. We already know Natalya loves her embellishments from her previous gear. They add so much to her look, which mostly consists of black leather and sheer material. Finally, I don't know how I didn't notice until I looked at the photos, but she also wore these adorable cat ears while making her entrance. Oh so fitting for Nattie! Brie: First, let me say WOOHOOOO and Congrats to Natalya! I'm insanely excited for her to have a belt again! It's been such a long wait and Nattie has been amazing about putting SO many girls over. I swear every diva superstars' last stop before their title win was a match with her, so she unquestionably earned this. I hope her reign is lengthy and incredible. All Hail the Queen Of Harts! And her gear was worthy of a royal! She took the best parts of the fleur-de-lis look form Wrestlemania that I've been raving over, switched it to pink and added more gems, including a jewel-encrusted collar and a Princess-Dala-Pink-Panther-esque pendant. This attire is everything . From the scalloped edges, finished in fleur-de-lis, to the sheer sections to the glittering stripes to the opulent gems to the modern attitude of her cropped leather jacket topper, this is utterly jaw-dropping. I'm in heaven! Naomi reprised an earlier gear look, but the punchy color combo of neon lime, melon and pink still looks fabulous! I can't help but be in love with her fur trench topper! ...And it glows, too...omg! If you described it to me, I would say "over the top", but it's not in the least. It works magnificently with Nay-Nay's attire, providing a shot of daring and panache atop the edited, but powerful statement of her gear. And her neon winged cat-eyes - hello, next night-time look! Those are gotta-try for sure. So basically, this is further killage from Naomi and I'm still all in! Alexa jettisoned her comic-character ways for a return to simplicity in her gear and, as is my bent, I like the effect. The clean, curated statement makes a cohesive picture and looks confident and un-cluttered. The one thing I'd have loved to see from Blissy is a different color combination. Pink and black looks incredible, but is there a diva out there who hasn't done it? Why not pink and navy or deep green, black and metallic peridot or silver and lime - anything that brought a little curveball would have made this attire extra special. Her cropped, embroidered and studded vest, though? Oh, now that was special! The azalea shades with the black (why not that tone for her gear? That would have been amazeballs!), the embellishment , the utiliarian styling - the piece is glorious! It's one of those flawless designs that would look perfect al home outside the ring. I can totally see throwing this on top of a casual tee (maybe a Hanes tee ;)) and black skinny jeans with ankle booties. Hey, WWE Shop - can we get some merch over here? Kim: Not only did Natalya become the new SD Women's Champion, but Sasha Banks defeated Alexa to become the new Raw Women's Champion. Now, I think Sasha has some amazing gear, and I absolutely love this light green and pink color combo. You wouldn't think the two colors would work together, but it's such a eye catching visual that I've got to give it a thumbs up. However, I'm not a huge fan of the jacket she wore down to the ring. I feel like she was going for a piece of Charlotte's peacock robe, with the big, bold feel, but something about it just didn't click with me. I know some people online loved it, and that's totally ok! Not everything in fashion is loved by all. And I do want to wish Sasha a big congrats on winning her 4th Raw Women's Championship, she definitely did it in style. Like a boss.
Brie: Like Kim, I'm on the fence about the actual success of the Sasha's fan-like topper, but it's risk-taking piece and I'm always on board for ladies taking risks. The top def gives me Chinese-fan vibes and I don't quite know how to connect that to Sasha. On the other hand, the bold peplum shape of the bottom has an über-modern couture vibe that I completely love, especially when paired with the sheer fabric above and the plunging v. I can envision this metamorphosizing into some serious slayage in the not-too-distant future. Also, the insignia on her shorts this time resembles flames, which def connects to Sasha 'cuz this lady is fire! I am with Kim 100% on loving the pink and highlighter yellow combo! It's funky, energetic and all kinds of fun!
