The Superstars For Hope benefit is one of the many highlights of WrestleMania week, not least (for us fashion-obsessed) because the ladies come out to rock the red carpet in some amazing outfits. Lilian was looking gorgeously glam in this glittered ivory sheath. The patterning of the sparkle brings strong impact to this sheath dress. She outdid herself with the accessories though: that delicate, drizzled cuff is glorious! The subtle shimmer is the perfection addition to her glittery dress. And those shoes! I'm always down for a fab pair of ankle straps and the multiple fabric, plus the cut of the vamp make these killer! Maryse was slaying red carpets all over the place this year! In addition to being the runner up at our Hall Of Fame Fashion Review, she easily wins Best Dressed here. The cobalt color of this modernist gown is everything! Pair that with the uber-unique neckline and you have an utterly crave-worthy piece. Note how the jersey fabric makes it formal, but not overly so; her HoF gown was dressier yet. The appropriateness of her choices wins high praise from me. Ditto her slicked-back long, loose hairstyle; it's sleek polish is a flawless accompaniment to this gown. Jojo continues her run of impressive style with this ivory V-neck mini dress. The sheen of the fabric assists the deep-v and sparkling band at her waist in creating just the right amount of formality. The look exudes freshness, coupled with growing sophistication...and I love it! She also gets Fierce points for her make-up - the warmth of this palette is a totally gorgeous choice. Stephanie McMahon chose a pink and gray sheath for this event. The strong but feminine shoulder immediately suggests it is an Alexander McQueen piece, which indeed it is. I love the shape of this dress and the ruffle detailing at the shoulder and collar - they create a subtle but elegant detail which make this dress stand out. My only reservation is that the fabric appears to be a knit, which makes it a bit less formal than I would ideally love, although formal shoes could allay that. However, I am madly (like bouncing in my chair) excited to see Stephanie adding new (and haute couture!) designers to her collection. She's been a fan of Michael Kors for quite some time; McQueen represents an intriguing and thrilling new direction. More please! :) Sasha paired a black dress with a crystal statement necklace for look that comes off as a mini-dress version of her Hall Of Fame ensemble. The cutouts and fit-and-flare style of this dress give it a much more playful and trendy vibe than her HoF gown. She gets props for her instincts on what level of formality to employ at which event. While I think this look works a bit better on her (and I have a feeling she might be more comfortable with this kind of style right now), I have high hopes for where she'll take her style at these event in future, as she has a wonderful sense of drama and glam.
Never one to do the expected, Alicia Fox chose a black chain-embellished suit for her Superstars For Hope entrance. While the shorts make this a bit less formal, the fabric and details of her jacket (the fabric-covered buttons, for instance) elevate it significantly. The cut of this jacket is superb! I especially love the 80's nod of the strong shoulder. This look took a big risk, but she completely rocks it! The only thing I might tweak would be to exchange her classy pointy toe pumps for a pair of fierce, strappy booties. Also taking risks was Brie Bella in another John Paul Ataker creation. This strapless gown is seductively simple...except for super sexy side cutouts, strategically placed at the hip. From the side, I'm sort of ambivalent about this dress; the cutouts feel like too much, more risqué than I'd gravitate to. However, from the front, the full intent of their inclusion can be appreciated. They create a draped effect, almost like ruching but with negative space. It's wonderfully creative and I appreciate the artistry of the design. Is it enough to redeem to dress? What do you think?
