One of the interesting fashion features of WrestleMania this year was just how many looks involved white shirts! White is always classic for spring, but some years it's a bit more to the forefront than others and this year is one of the former. No less than four Divas (sorry WWE, it's more workable than "Superstars") were seen sporting the look. Most of the ladies chose it for meet-n-greets or similar events, while Brie wore it out an about in Dallas. Eva Marie paired her classic white slouchy tee with black denim, OTK's and a cropped jacket. The jacket really pulls this look together. The whole pairing isn't ground breaking, but it's solid, cool, casual style, totally event-appropriate and works perfectly. Becky went with a pretty overlay tee matched with black jeans. I like that she chose a top with some visual interest; the flowy quality of the top is graceful and unexpected and makes a nice contrast with the tougher texture of the denim. Her chain-like bracelet injects a bit of attitude. Tamina skipped her tough-chic style sensibilities for a refined look, pairing this black blazer with her white tee. It looks like denim formed the bottom half of her outfit, as well. Her slim sliver necklace elevates her look still more. As with Eva's outfit, this pairing isn't earth-shattering, but it's completely appropriate and well-executed, which always wins points from me! Brie's more casual look involved a white, cropped tank, paired with destroyed skinny denim and pristine white sneakers. With the Divas, we don't get to see really stylish looks that include sneakers, even though it's a strong fashion trend right now. Generally, they save sneakers for gym time or non-fashion moments, so it's really amazeballs to see Brie working them with her usual stellar sense or style and completely nailing this look. This is how you casual without being boring and sneakers without looking like you just rolled out fo bed and threw on whatever was on your floor :) From white to black: Brie's cutout, shoulder-detail dress is a complete about-face from her previous look. I love the lace, the subtle sexiness of the cutouts and the femininity of the tiny polka dots! What a wonderful, chic dress! I'm imagining simple black heels finishing this off.
On another black note, Brooke recently posted this Behind The Scenes shot from a set she did a year or two ago with TNA. Her BTS is first and a pic from the finished shoot is to the right. I found this comparison so interesting artistically the light and background look so different in the BTS shot. Can you believe how that simple arrangement turned so magical with the right artistic vision? Super cool, huh? This was one of my (many) favorites of Brooke's shoots, so seeing the original starting point was a ton of fun! Of course, if you're interesting in having a dying moment or two over how scalding hot Brooke's body is, the BTS def allows for that as well, so carry on ;).
