We'll be winding up WM week (finally!..rt? :)) with the fashion of the day itself and a little GearFest this week, but for now, it's all about the last vestiges of non-ring fashion before the big day. Stephanie rocked WM 32 Media Day in this robins' egg blue sheath. The color is utterly gorgeous and couldn't be more perfect for spring! (Aside: this shade of blue is famous as the trademark color of the jewelry store, Tiffany's). The front pockets add a bit of casual modernity to this dress. Her mesh ivory sandals keep th whole look soft and light, and that's enhanced by her pastel make-up tones. Everything about this speaks of newness and a flush of youthful, spring colors. And it works flawlessly! Soft and light seems to have been on everyone's mind, as Charlotte chose this ivory sheath for her look at Media Day. She paired it with her nude Kendall + Kylie Abi pumps. I love the classic silhouette of this dress, and also the on-trend lace detailing, which keeps it ultra-current. Charlotte's simple pumps, with their unique, swooped detail, keep this chic, minimalist outfit interesting and chic. Stephanie's Hall Of Fame dress only recently came to my attention; it's this stunning tulle-fringed confection of a high-necked halter dress from Alexander McQueen. Ogh...I'm in heaven! This high-neck style generally carries a very sleek, modernist connotation, but with the graceful, fluttery embellishments, it feels feminine and light. It's an absolutely beautiful and fabulous piece, typical of Sarah Burton's flawlessly tailored romantic vision for the house of McQueen. It's such a jazz to get to see amazing pieces like this out and about on ladies whose style we adore! #ThankYouSteph For anyone jonesing for a chance to see Char's shoes at the HoF, here ya go! :) For anyone jonesing to see ANY thing new from Velvet Sky, ...here ya go! :) The two ladies connected at the HoF this year, with Char's dress landing 4th on our HoF count-up and Velvet's dress turning heads too. This black gown is a perfect blend of Velvet's trademark sexiness via the side cutout silhouette and classy formality - the sheer, glittered fabric elevates this gown dramatically. It makes the curvy, modern shape of the black section stand out in sharp relief, which adds visual interest and artistry to the look. This is a great choice form Velvet and a wonderful display of her style sensibilities outside her super-creative photoshoot endeavors.
The Abi pumps were Charlotte's go-to shoes throughout WM week. She reached for them again here, this time matched with one of my favorites of her recent dresses. The sweeping (and stunning!) sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves give this LBD an iconic vibe. The dress is uncomplicated, but carries a big impact ...and looks fabulous! This is the kind of classic, chic piece that can be worn a thousand different ways for years to come and which will never be out of style. Ever. No wonder it's one of my faves ;). As usual, her statement watch is her only accessory. With this dress, it's all she needs. Renee killed it quite frequently during WM week (no surprise there!) and this outfit was in that category. She matched leather leggings with this red cami and topped it with a exclamation-point-making plaid blazer. A black-white plaid acts like a neutral, but with a touch more pizzazz and this one really sparks the rest of the look. it has a hint of menswear about it, due to the boxier cut and the plaid and works brilliantly over the form-fitting cami and leggings. She enhances the refined feel with her pulled-together high bun and carries the color through the look by means of her red ankle-strap sandals. The whole look is quirky and confident, totally Renee...and totally cool! Simple looks were also on display during Day 4 at Axxess. Summer demo'd this knot-front coord set in a vibrant red. I love the fashion-forward vibe and uncomplicated vibe or this look. At the same time, I'm ready for a break from coord sets for awhile :). I'm imagining back pointy-toe pumps finishing this look, to match her black nails. But she might also have thrown us a curveball and gone with deep blue, amethyst or something equally unexpected and fun. I'd have loved that, as it would have injected a nice touch of spice into this look. We also get a tiny peek at Jojo, who paired a standard black tee with blue denim. She seems to have popped the look with a tied shirt at her waist, but sadly, the pic doesn't allow for much more than conjecturing.
