Finds: Brie's J.Cr Blazer

OMG can't even! It's not every day that one my favorite divas wears one of my favorite pieces by one of my favorite brands! Yeet. Did I mark when I saw this amazing shot? Yes, I did. It's one of many Brie graced us with recently and which I will most definitely be raving/freaking/blathering over and sharing with you in ever-so-fabulous ways in the next few days. But for now, let's talk BLAZERS. I adore blazers. Like, couldn't live without them kind of adore. There's nothing that adds polish and elevation to an outfit instantaneously like a great blazer. Literally, nothing. And one of the things J Crew does best of all is blazers! They tend to get fabrics, cuts, linings, details (functional chest pocket for pocket squares (or silk flowers ;)), functional cuff buttons for when you need to roll your sleeves, pop-able collars) all just right. Blazers are something you invest in; they're not fast fashion that's gone in .02 seconds or forgotten by Monday. Blazers are pieces you have for awhile...think decades, lifetimes...future lifetimes ;). This beautiful camel example is J. Crew's Regent blazer. Right now, it's available in three-season wool (four season if you're anywhere with air conditioning ;)) in a number of gorgeous neutrals and one classic red shade. It's fitted in a softly femme way, as opposed to a hug-your-curves-like-a-glove kind of way and sports all the details described above. So, yes...you need one.
