Brooke has been slaying fashion lately! Her latest is this fabulous combination of (ttly on-trend) blush pink girly-ness with a dash of hippie vibes, courtesy of her tribal-print scarf tied as a head band. Notice how her scarf coordinates without matching? Love that! You can do this look with almost any pale pink knit piece you own: a thermal top, a tunic, a slouchy sweater. If you're not a pink girl, you can capture the same feel with warm ivory or soft camel. Light wash flared leg jeans are the perfect accompaniment, giving that bohemian, 70's feel to the look. If you haven't invested in wide leg denim, yet, dig out a pair of bootcut ones. They'll create a similar look. Khaki boyfriend-style chinos are another option. After pastel color, accessories are the next most important key with this outfit. You'll need a scarf that has a free-spirited leaning. A strong-hued tribal print like Brooke's or a solid with a tasseled edge would work. You can also go with a floral (try something with stylized graphic flowers) or tie-dye. Stay with tonal shades (blush, warm rose, peach, baked clay) or earthy contrasts (caramel, chocolate, turquoise, aqua, sage, dusty blue). Do the Brooke thing and knot it around your forehead, go with a loose knot at your waist or just drape it around your neck. Stay with warm neutrals for shoes -nude, peach-pink, or caramel. An ankle boot is fabulous, as are platform sandals. Finish with a bevy of your favorite band rings, interspersed high and low on several fingers. Ready to feel like a wild wanderer (with a killer sense of style, of course)? Then, go for it :) Happy styling!
