OMG...I'm freaking! All the fierce feels, Fancies! ALL THEM! Remember the fantastic, talented, magnificent, totally fierce Kim? Well, she is BACK, babes! Guest posting for you...and for me in my time of catch-up :). Welcome back, Kim McFabulous, with much love! - Brie Kim: With Extreme Rules taking place TONIGHT, we've been treated to a little themed photoshoot from a few of the Raw ladies. I know they say to keep the best for last, but I can't help it... I need to talk about Alexa Bliss first! In my eyes, she's the shining star of this shoot. Her outfit is without a doubt my favorite. I love how her sheer skull tights actually peak above her leather shorts and monokini-like bodysuit. Speaking of the bodysuit, that buckle detailing has me wow'd! Her accessories are minimal, but when you add the chain belt, black bracelets, and brass knuckles, you really don't need much else to complete such a bad ass look. But just for fun, let's throw in some props like a ladder, and a barbed-wire baseball bat! Alexa is the queen of facial expressions and we see that every week on Raw. Honestly, the shot of her with the bat over her shoulder and walking towards the camera is complete with the absolutely perfect resting #BlissFace. 5 Feet of Fury and oh so fierce! Emma also has a killer set of snaps, executing some top notch poses on a staircase and coming out of a chained up storage room. Emma's outfit consists of tons of different fabrics and textures. We've got mesh, metallic, leather... It seems like a lot but it works so well. I love the pop of red in her top, it's a brighter shade but it goes stunningly with her darker red lip. Now, normally I feel like less is more, and would have picked the chunky necklace or the big hoop earrings, but for this look I'm giving it the green look - Go big or go home, baby! Now onto the French-Canadian blonde bombshell, Maryse. Girl, that jacket! I need it, ASAP. In my closet. The leather material mixed with the slices of sheer is just incredible. The same can be said for her tights. In fact, I feel like we've seen this outfit from her on TV before. Maybe not the exact, but something very similar. But when something is this jaw dropping, why not wear it again, and again. Most of Maryse's photos take place in front of a steel loading door, and I'm totally lovin' how it adds a gritty element to the shoot. The only thing I would change? Maryse, like Alexa, can slay anyone with her facial expressions, but we don't get very much of that here. She has pretty much the same look in each photo, which is a like, awww, really? But there's always next time! A similar note can be made for Nia Jax. Now don't get me wrong, Nia needs very little to seem intimidating and I love that she was included in this shoot. Her outfit is simple but still edgy, I'm a huge fan of off the shoulder tops, and the mesh sweater tied around her waist adds some cool texture. I wish she had kept the silver, cut up, held together with safety pins top on in all the photos, it totally stands out in the best possible way. She also got the baseball bat prop and brass knuckles like her #TeamRude partner, Alexa (if you follow either of them on social media you know what I'm talking about, it's kind of adorable!) But like Maryse, I just wish we had gotten a wider variety of expressions. Though there is one shot where she has a totally killer smirk that made me a little nervous. Keep that up! Overall, I love how each woman was given the same theme, but different elements to make them stand out. They weren't all given the same background, props, and accessories. While there may have been some sharing, each woman made their shots unique. So yes, this photo gallery has me totally ready for Extreme Rules airing tonight!
