Naomi's look consisted of a cute floral crop top paired with a sheer overskirt. Her giant heart necklace made me think of over-the-top jewelry Madonna or Cyndi Lauper would wear. That same vibe comes through in her poses as well. Her hairstyle is killer - I love the playful waves and the super-high pony styling - it's a great way to add fresh femininity to an outfit. I also dig her pink lip; strong colors work well for her and this is a fun change from classic red. Her shoes are my abso fav part of her look though. What's not to love about sequined, bow-embellished silver pumps? ;) I was really interested to see how Becky would handle this shoot, as dreamy, frilly and fluffy don't seem to be her thing at all. The leggings and boots proved that guess correct; they make sort of an odd moment in the set, amid all the tulle. However, I was pleasantly surprised by her instinct to pair fierce with glam! A grommet-detailed leather top layered with quantities of crystal strands? Hello, fabulous! That's such an amazing combo I can't even! If only she'd paired it with ripped denim and bare feet, like some kind of glam-grunge angel, I'd have been ttly slayed. Still, for a gorgeous girl who's more comfortable with leglocks than Lanvin, this is a creditable effort. +1, Becks! Alicia played up the vintage side of this shoot with her embroidered, laced and fringed skirt. Her incorporation of the peachy-pink shades was inspired, bringing out the muted, almost Impressionistic quality of the setting. And her drapey wrap top nudges this look just slightly into boho territory, for a retro-romantic vibe. She finished the look with fabulous leather sandals that I hope we get to see more of! Her close-up shot lets the beauty of her winged eye and shimmery shadow really be seen. Props to the makeup team! I'm hair-over-heels over her high-knotted hairstyle - the complexity is dazzling and the look is so unique! Trust the Foxy One to never lull us with something ordinary...Reason No. 564923 why we adore her! We finish off with two ladies who slayed in different ways. Lana worked with the tones of the room, using pink shades, completed with sexy suede in a moody shade of gray. The brilliance of her styling was in the textural interplay: smooth, drapey silk with dimensional floral embellishment. It's a magnificent combination! She also rocked every pose in this set, perfectly expressing the feel of this shoot: womanly, graceful, confident and seductive. I completely LOVE how she played with the perfume bottle..and her hair! The whole set is flawless. Brava, Lana!
In contrast, Natalya worked with colors that were distinct from the background: ice blue, bright white and a hint of floral print in her delicate sandals (love those!). Those color choices let her float out of the background, rather than nestle into it. Her fitted cropped sweater brings a trendy slant to the look, which is echoed by her feathered mini skirt. The soft texture of the feathers also works delightfully with the background, becoming the soft, snowy link between the setting and her outfit. Pearls and candy-hued earrings make just-right accents. I adore the modern-romantic aesthetic of this look! While many of the ladies brought coquettishness and sweet sentiments to these shots, Natalya also brought something totally unique: joy! Her happiness is palpable throughout most of the set; the way she explored that aspect of love is just glorious and wonderful to see.
