New WWE.com Photoshoots: Becky & Charlotte - Cake By The Ocean

WWE gave us a doubler in photoshoots...woot woot! The beach is the playground for Charlotte and Becky as they each rock their respective 'shoots. First up is Char in her gorgeous sky blue halter bikini, paired with string tie bottoms. This is a fabulous combo - I love the idea of pairing a print with a solid color that's pulled out of the print in order to make a coordinating set. Charlotte's fun paisley brings brightness and a playful vibe to the magnificent blue shade of her top. Her make-up is amazing as well; she looks sun-kissed and fresh! Her eyes are bold, but everything else is soft and sweet; the look comes off natural ...and exquisite! With the glimmering waves in the background and white sand as a setting, this set of snaps has a lot in its favor. The only place where I would love to see Charlotte step up her game a smidge is in her poses. What she does works wonderfully! But, it's also fairly straightforward and expected.  I'm hoping for big risk-taking and new-ground breaking :) (I know, I ask a lot....but I root so hard for these gals and I believe so much in what they're capable of!)  I'd looove to see her let loose a bit more: lift up her hair, look backward over her shoulder, twist her legs around in the sand...think Rhonda Rousey in Sports Illustrated or Maria Sharapova in Harper's: a little athlete-meets-model. Not because she's a diva, but because she's a champ and that spirit is worth conveying with intensity, purpose and beauty. If she let her personality and athleticism shine through just a tad more, this 'shoot could rule our world. It's a skill that takes a little honing, but Char's got the talent! (As does Becky!) I know she's a busy gal and she's got a title to reclaim, but I've got my fingers crossed she can spend a few minutes experimenting in front of her mirror and taking on the adventure of finding out what works for her, her body and what she wants to communicate. And if she does, I can't wait to go along on that journey with her!

Becky gives us snaps set in the same spot as Charlotte and, like Charlotte, Becky comes up with a solid bunch of photos. I have the same wish for her as I do for Char: a little mirror time, a little experimentation with getting that fire across on camera. These snaps are beautiful...but they could be mind-blowing! A few more unexpected poses, a wider variety of facials, a range of emotions and we'd have some undeniable, serial slayage. There's such a great foundation here! Becky chose a ruffled push-up bra bikini, which I completely adore and applaud. The color is divine and looks STUNNING on her.  The ruffles add just a bit of flirtatiousness, which is a jazz to see. When she enhances that by letting some attitude hit the lens (as in the middle pic where she nails the half-smile), the effect is killer! Keep following that thought, girl ;) She gets bonus points for the touches of jewelry - rose gold is an incredible idea with her hair and skin tone. Her make-up is similar to Charlotte's: bold eyes, with just a flush of color on her cheeks and lips. And again, the look comes out gorgeous.  I honestly don't mind how many bikini 'shoots these two need to do to get it to smash-it-out-of-the-park level...just as long as we get to see them all ;)
