We'll rave over this entire outfit from the Bellas' recent NY Daily News photoshoot, but for now let's focus on this fabulous skirt! With gold being the current "it" metallic, this Katz Pleated Sunburst maxi from Alice and Olivia (one of the twins' favorite go-to brands) is on trend and oh so glamorous! The wide-waistband piece is created in a silk blend and moves beautifully, thanks to the multitude of pleats. Wear it now, like Brie with a silk cami, dress it up with a velvet blazer or down with a neutral moto jacket later. The piece is available in this shade at shopbop, while aliceandolivia.com carries it in dark blue and silver.
Edit: *If this is exact is not at a price point you want to go to, take a look at this similar (the Grace maxi) from Guess, which is a bit more accessible.

The gorgeous necklace Summer wore with this lovely blue sheath back in May :) (and which was the catalyst for an Inspiration Board) is actually done in gray pearls, giving it the versatility of sterling, but with that iridescent pearl sheen. The three-row design makes it a definite statement piece, while the spike-like drops bring a bit of edge in a playfully chic way! The piece is the Lorelai Pearl Collar by Loren Hope (check out her other pieces in her online store here). I love that they're made in the U.S! #Bonus :) The exact pearl collar is available online from Edmonton boutique Modern Sole (taxes & import duties incl in price, and free shipping) if you just have to have it! :) (I can completely see your point!). PS Note the extender that let's you customize fit and set the necklace to different lengths - it's always a good design to have!
Charlotte seems to have a trademark of wearing one particular awesome shoe with EVERYthing for a certain period of time. It's an interesting fashion philosophy and def one to keep in mind, especially if you're travelling! Her current 'til-death-do-us-part pair is the Jetts sandal from BCGB (most sadly sold out). I don't think I have ever had a harder time coming up with similars for a piece either. I mean, I am gooooooood with shoes, but Holy Nothingness, Batman! This one was tough. Nevertheless, I love a challenge (thanks, Char! XO) and I persevered. You benefit: behold! Four kind of similar/give you the vibe kind of footwears:
1. The Cayen Cutout Heels by Guess 2 .The Monica Block Heel Sandal by Topshop 3. The High Heel Open Toe Strappy Sandal from BCBG 4. The Gildie Flat from JustFab As a lover of statement rings, I couldn't help but notice when Brie wore this incredibe stalactite ring from Love Tatum in her recent Pacific San Diego photoshoot. The massive size, the organic shape and the funky texture make this ring quite fabulous! I love the laid-back feel of the piece. It's a perfect complement to boho, rocker and city cool-girl looks. Shopping note: Brie's piece looks to be in the 2" x 1" size range, giving it mammoth presence. Anything in the 1" or above category will be authoritatively bold. If you need this exact one (bearing in mind that natural stones vary in size, shape and color), it's available at lovetatum.com. If you're looking for something similar in a little less wallet-thinning price range, these drusy (also spelled 'druzy') quartz pieces match the texture and hint of sparkle and capture that chill, slightly sparkly, "just quarried" vibe:
1. Druzy Loop Ring at elizabethstonejewelry.com 2. Druzy Cuff Ring at elizabethstonejewelry.com 3. Dara Ettinger Gold Tone Stone ring in white druzy at theoutnet.com or this Dara Ettinger two-tone black and gray druzy piece, also at theoutnet.com (not shown) 4. Druzy Daydream Ring from childofwild.com 5. Panacea Drusy Adjustable Ring via amazon.com If this magnificent statement necklace worn by Maryse caught your eye (how could it not? ;)), and you're freaking out over where to get it (not that I know anyone who did/is doing that) *surreptitiously puts room back in order*, it is the Horn Pendant Collar necklace from Sam Edelman. The clean, fearless flash of the gold makes the immediate first impression, but I also love the little details: the leather attachment on the pendant, the oval crystal - I can totally see why Maryse loved it! I am also very, deeply, terribly sad to have to say that it is...sold out. :'(. However, I've wrestled up a couple of get-the-look options that might work. The first one is on my wish list! :)
1. Rebecca Minkoff Boho Bead Double Tusk Collar at shopbop 2. Luv Aj Crescent Collar in rose gold and silver at luvaj.com and gold at shopbop 3. Vince Camuto Ring Leader Circle Pendant in gold at lordandtaylor.com or silver at Dillard's 4. Taurus Collar from baublebar Basically from the moment I saw both of these looks, my little mind started whirring away, trying to figure out how to recreate them. Brie and Maryse play on a similar these here: simple black dress, major statement-making baubletry. (Note: also can be done with a simple black cami+pants). Brie's look, in which the metal plates are actually built into the dress gets its je ne se quoi from the smooth, next-gen vibe of the unembellished metal. I actually think hers is the easier look to recreate though. My basic evil plan is to use a plate collar or choker necklace and a matching plate belt. the widths of the two items can be different, but the metal color should be essentially the same. ASOS has a fairly awesome selection of metal belts that make a great starting point for doing this look. Missguided has an economical metal choker in gold (as does BaubleBar at a slightly higher price point. Lele Sadoughi offers an heirloom piece) while ASOS carries the same piece in silver. This look could also be done with metallic leather, though the duller finish with cut the impact slightly. And now, Maryse :). There are very few body chains with this kind of layered drama out and about in the world atm, especially since DeMode does not have its online store open just yet (it's coming!). The best approximation seems to be this one from bebe (note: they have a nice metal plate collar with a circle drop on it on sale as well), unless you want to go the Etsy route (e.g. something like this. Don't forget to check shipping and return costs for items made outside the U.S.). If you can be happy foregoing the actual body chain, the main vibe of the look can be re-created similarly to Brie's: by pairing a statement crystal necklace and a crystal belt. Crystal necklace are to be had pretty much everywhere, from Forever 21 to Saks, and in every price range. Belts are a tad trickier and depend to a certain extent on the look you're going for. BCBG has a couple that work here. I also love this one, and this one on sale at Guess x Marciano. Check out the other belts there, as well, because there are a couple others that could definitely work. If you're up for a bit of fun (and a bit higher expenditure), check out BB Simon ( I love this piece!). I just recently bumped into this artist and oh my! - it is statement belt heaven :). So, one of these now has an official spot on my wish list :). You can get a similar look at a lower price point to you look for a crystal belt from companies that design for Western horse shows, such as this one. You might need to go with crystal on a black background, but since the plan is set it against an all-black outfit, that black leather will mostly disappear. If it feels too cowgirl, consider rotating the belt so that the buckle falls to the side or back, letting the crystal pattern be the focus. Yet another option is to go with a bridal sash, instead of a belt. There are beautiful pieces available at nice price points (like this piece from ASOS) and, frankly, why should brides have all the fun? ;) I have a bff who always says "life's too short not to have glitter". Preach, girl! The sash option will give you a pretty ribbon detail at the back as well (if you're a "don't do bows" kind of chick, try finishing the knot it with a single loop. Lastly, if you're in need of a creative project, give making your own piece a try. Flat-back Swarovski crystals hot glued on to a belt would give you a completely one-of-a-kind bit of bling.
Edit: also just saw this pretty silver collar at zappos.com that would def work for Brie's look! Here you go, loves! Because I love you ...and I love fashion...and I love shoes..here are some fashionable shoes for you to love :). Rockstud-alikes are flying off shelves basically as fast as the Rockstuds themselves, so if you're craving a pair of any of these, I advise you to put the pedal to the plastic. A number of these are available in alt colors, too, but these are the most similar to Maryse's pair. Have a looksy at the Sole Society Anneke at Nordstrom.com, the Julianna or Lydia at katespade.com (priciest of the bunch, but my fav! Crystals for studs? Oh, I'll make that trade :) ...and also: the multi-tone tweed Licorice heels and the Izzy just because. Did I mention that I love shoes? No? Ok, about that...), the Darron by BCBGeneration (& Dacotah for a sim to the Rockstud sandal) and Audrey Brooke Harper at dsw.com and the Luichiny That A Girl at heels.com. Happy hunting!
