Wrestlemania week always includes a few traditional events, such as the ProAm golf tournament and the WWE2k16 gaming competition. This year's diva rep at the latter was Bayley. While this isn't my favorite outfit I've ever seen her wear, she does, as usual, bring an interesting perspective to her her fashion. She paired a basic logo sweatshirt with leggings, which appear to plain, but upon closer inspection have a fun angled leg seam detail. The seam reminds me of a jodhpur pant ad elevates these leggings above your standard yoga fare. She also finished her look with boots, which, again, helps to elevate this outfit from bland and boring to something that has a dash of fashion about it, and I love that!
Brie broke out the plaid for her course at the ProAm golf tourney. She paired these black watch pants with a white sweater - a beautiful combination with the rich color palette of the plaid - and topped it all with a gray belted wool coat. The oversized collar of the coats gives it a slightly 60's vibe and makes it extra warm :) White sneakers completed her look. Alicia always seems to make her golf outfits really special! While everyone else is sticking with the make-it-practical-and-match-and-you're-good theory, Foxy brings it. She pairs a chic navy polo with white twill pants and tops it with a stunning (faux?) fur jacket. The texture of her jacket is just amazingly gorge, paired with the crisp weave of her polo and pants. She completes the look with a lariat necklace and - one of my fav aspects - a navy peaked cap! She looks like she's just stepped out of a Ralph Lauren campaign. Sssly, girl - has he called yet? Like Brie, Summer does the gray coat/white sneakers thing (are you sensing a common theme? :) ), but she chose an anorak-style over wool and paired hers with black leggings. I'm so glad she added the artfully looped scarf - not only does it add warmth, but it makes a bit more fashionable statement than mere practicality. This is how you look cute without trying too hard, while still leaving yourself free to play a solid golf game :) Finally, we got a glimpse at how the Bellas handled their style for Axxess day 4; it's surprisingly casual! Nikki chose distressed leggings and one of her Fearless tees in a cropped silhouette. She worked in her favorite palette of red and neutrals. Brie did the same, but went with black instead of white, combining her Brie Mode tee with black denim and adding a pop of color via her tied-at-the-waist plaid shirt. I'm envisioning both of these looks finished off with a cure pair of sneakers.

Wrestlecon came to Dallas the same week as WrestleMania, so it was truly a wrestling takeover of Texas! It also brought out stars by the airplane load...which meant more fashion for us! :) Oh, darn.
Brooke showed off two outfits at Wrestlecon. The first was this wine sheath, which she paired with lace-up gladiator heels (shove over, Kendall :)). I love the warmth of the burgundy-with-caramel combo - doesn't that just sound so inviting and decadent? A lariat necklace and a pretty headband brought out the bohemian feel to this earthy color pairing. Next up was Brooke's take on the L(ong)BD, as she went with a black maxi dress, finished off with a beaded statement necklace. The look is uncomplicated, but amazing! I also commend Brooke wholeheartedly for her adorable and modest poses. I love how she's let us know about her forthcoming arrival, but doesn't make her belly the center of attention. It's refreshing and beautiful to see how's she's handled this. I didn't know it was possible to respect her more than I did previously...but I do. Very best wishes, Brooke...as always! Also during WM week came NBC's Summer Press Day, which included Barbie Blank-Souray, wearing a stunning midi LBD. The color and silhouette of this sheath is ultra-classic, but the straps at the bodice create the impression of a sexy cutout, making it oh so modern! It's a perfect representation of the best of Barbie's style - chic, but with a dash of sass! She finished the look with au courant slim ankle strap sandals of the SW Nudist or SL Jane variety - flawless choice! We've seen Natalya's incredible HoF dress...but did you know she topped it with a leather jacket en route to the venue? Tres cool! Even cooler is who she ran in to: Velvet Sky, who was in town for Wrestlecon. Velvet paired this graphic print tunic with black leggings for her trademark grunge-glam look. I love the flutter sleeve on her tunic - sooo pretty! Rose pink lips and nails give the whole ensemble a bright pop. I ttly can't believe WrestleMania week is almost here! Are you revved? Me 2! And scared lol. I have to clear a bunch of posts out my backlog before we get to the fashion deluge that is WM week...gaaah! So it's lots of work for me..but lots of fun for you lucky ones ;). Hold on to your cloches, loves and strap in. It's gonna get caaaaa-raaayzaay.
A lot of the LBD's we see are sheaths, bodycon or otherwise pretty button-downed style, but this one from Lana has a bit more flow and movement to it, as a result of the georgette sleeves. I especially love the chic femininity of the long cuffs. The rounded neckline also gives off a softer vibe, as compared to a bolder V-shape. Lana enhanced that vibe with lace tights and then brough a bit of an edge to the look with black OTKs. I like the way the lace breaks up the black-on-black with texture. Maria wore this gooooorgeous sheath dress during a mid-March Impact episode. If you look fast, you see a typical ivory sheath. But ssly, let's just take a moment to fully appreciate this dress. Atop the ivory fabric is multi-colored embroidery in a beautiful scrolled floral design. And that is embellished with crystals. Ogh...so fab! Even though Maria's with TNA now, this dress is completely WM-worthy! Or prom-worthy ;). She finished it of with metallic gold single-sole heels, which are a perfect choice, as they reflect the warmth of the dress's color. This casual outfit from Rosa is a fairly basic pairing of a cute, red sleeveless tee and skinny jeans. What made it stand out for me, though, was her choice of snake print flats. That is how you do a statement flat, Fiercettes! It elevates the whole outfit. WWE just released their third photoshoot in a week (more on those coming soon!), so maybe the wheel is finally turning in that department. Prior to this week, it seemed like all the 'shoots were bottlenecked, even though the ladies kept releasing teaser shots. I finally gave up waiting for the Big Dub to cough up the goodies, so even though this snap of Eva looks like a 'shoot pic, I'm reviewing it. Ms. All Red Everything gave us a very garage-glam look with distressed skinny jeans paired with a fantastically studded leather jacket. Lest you think Paige is the Queen of leather jackets, Eva begs to differ. This one is smoking hot and brings plenty of attitude. The black monochrome outfit helps to ground all those studs, while her pointy toe textured-leather pumps bring the glam. This kind of look is where Eva's fashion sense really shines! If WWE has been bad about letting loose the 'shoots, TNA has been even worse. It's been like excavating an Egyptian tomb to get any kind of fashion at all out of the Impact crowd lately, outside of the ever-amazing Maria. Sigh. At least we have this find from a recent archaeological adventure: Dixie doing 70's as she does best, with an off-shoulder snake print top, black jeans and knee boots. She accented it with a multi-strand bead necklace. This look is classic Dixie and it works well - it's interesting and polished and touch sexy. Gotta lotta fashion to talk re:, so...let's talk :)
This look from Brie is completely aaaaahhmazing! I'm not normally a fan of the see-through look, mainly because it's often a bra that we're seeing through the whatever and it's tough to make that look classy. However, Brie sidesteps that whole fashion trap by going with the crop top part of a coord set underneath and that makes all the difference! It adds functional warmth to the coord set and looks sleek, fierce and holiday ready. The nubbly texture of her sweater (by Free People, a brand Brie has been favoring lately and one of my personal faves) above the whte makes me think of snow, and that's accentuated by her fuzzy gray scarf. Her polished bun is a flawless way to finish off this fabulous look, which just might be my fav of this FH set. We haven't gotten to see much of Bayley's style, other than her wild n' wooly ring gear, but this causal look absolutely rocks! She's matched a classic-trendy flannel with wine jeans, knee-high black boots and a gray peacoat. It's a fantastic blend of textures, and colors, looking pulled together without being matchy-matchy. Smashing casual looks are always fun and not easy to elevate from "I couldn't care less" to "fashionista", so hopefully, we'll get to see more like this from Bay! |
