September saw a whole range of great fashion looks sail across our consciousness - everything from fancy sequins to chill fringe.
Fringe was the main attraction in this outfit of Noelle's an it completely rocks! Imagine all the movement it creates at this super-long length! Way fun, right? I'm not generally a fan of tie-dye, but the bold, straightforward striped pattern of this piece is really eye-catching and pretty, especially in this combination of cobalt and white. Cut-off denim shorts provided the bottom half of her cool-as-a-cucumber look, while black retro sneakers finished it off. Even though the pairing is quite basic, her stand-out top give this look serious punch and it looks fab! Noelle channels Charlotte in her next outfit, a mockneck crop top paired with a pencil skirt and topped with a biker jacket. It's a simple and trendy match-up that works just as well for her as it does for the Raw champ. Char would finish this with pumps or sandals, but I'm betting Noelle put her own spin on the footwear...sneakers, perhaps? ;) Michelle's daughter decided to play fashion photographer and the blonde beauty complied, striking a pose for us all to admire. This look definitely showcases Michelle's pre -or -post-Laycool style: the All-American girl showed her love for camo, but the glamorous Michi McFlawless? Not so much. Michelle shorted the midi-lengthe piece DIY-style via a knot at the hemline and ramped up the military style with lace-up boots. A knotted white sweatshirt at her waist gave the look a grunge twist, while a long gold pendant provided the only hint of shine. She also played with a concept that becoming a major thing lately: elevating this causal dress with her hairstyle, an intricate braid. She's been favoring this kind of style lately and it works wonderfully with this look. Eva worked the same idea with this look, but paired her self-wrapped top knot with a distressed denim instead of a dress. The fancier hair works just as well with pants! I love her decision to do this slinky bodysuit in olive - the color looks amazing on her! And her choker - in addition to being bang on-trend - works symbiotically with her hair style to make this look come off more polished than your standard slim-top-and-skinny-jeans pairing. Her high top sneaker finish things off with a casual vibe. Barbie gave us another sterling example of her flair for laidback fierceness as she paired this high-necked sleeveless halter top with gray denim shorts. The coup de grace of this ensemble, though, is her OTK boots. They really put the exclamation point on the combo. She adds an extra shot of attitude with her chain-handled bag. From fierceness, we head straight into boho: Renee paired this Free People dress with OTK boots, showing why the super-high style has become as fashionista-staple: they literally go with EVERYTHING. And they swing from genre to genre without missing a bit. I love the edge they add to this delicate dress. I also love Renee's addition of a pork-pie hat; it gives a playful twist to the look that reinforces the free-spirited vibe.

Summer may be officially over, but the Divas and Knockouts sure aren’t letting us forget about it! I guess they want to hang on to the warm days as much as I do. Since Mother Nature seems to be on board atm, now seems as good a time as any to check out all the bikini pics that ladies have been sending our way. And they have found some stunners indeed!
Maryse rocked this FIERCE black offering from Beach Bunny swimwear at the end of September. A black bikini is always chic and classic. But this? This is not your basic black bikini! It’s accented with chain details in glorious gold – slim ones on the straps of the top and ropes of them at the hips. Can you say “luxury”? Actually, with swimwear like this, you don’t need to say much of anything; the piece does all the talking! If color is more you’re thing, you can probably get behind this fantastic star-printed set from Brandi. The blue and red color combo gives it a vintage vibe – with a hint of Americana – but the star print oh so right now. Black may be the classic but it’s hard to go wrong with bright colors for swimwear. They’re like gym pieces – they’re meant to be fun! The multi-string style is super hot and Brandi’s killer body makes this bikini look absolutely flawless. While Maryse’s bikini was all about dat embellishment, Mandy’s choice jettisoned all additives…including straps. She paired bandeau-style push-up with simple-as-it-gets bottoms: no ties, no cutouts, no patterns. Just hotness. Sometimes the only accessories you need are great aviator shades and a set of killer abs. Are you planning your crunches yet? ;) White with gold has always been one of my favorite combinations; the warm metallic and cool white contrast each other perfectly. That perfection goes to new heights when the combo is done in a woven-crochet design, as Summer’s bikini is! I love how pretty and feminine this set is – that can be a tough look to find in swimwear. The metallic gives it a touch of luxury too. This set it totally gorge!..As is the misty pastel background of this pic; nature is so amazing! Mandy showed off this straightforward look a few weeks ago and it nails that curated fall flawless that makes go weak in the knees. The outfit has a minimalist overall in terms of silhouette and color choices, but delivers big impact through her use of one special statement piece: those burgundy suede OTK’s. Burgundy is all over fashion right now and it’s an amazing shade for fall, marrying the warmth of red with the darkness of black for a color that’s both luxurious and cozy. It pairs well with most jewel tones, as well as with neutrals, as Mandy has done here. Make her outfit cool-weather-ready by going with a long-sleeved tee or sweater if your current weather forecast indicates it :). Feel free to do ivory or beige instead of icy white; I gravitate toward warmer neutrals in the colder months. If you own burgundy boots, slide them over your favorite black skinnies and ..poof!...you’re fabulous. Then again, maybe you’re like me and feel that burgundy boots – especially OTK boots – are a bit bold for your personal style. I also think they have somewhat of a limited shelf life and could look dated in a few years, something to keep in mind if you’re considering investing in a pair. To keep this same theme with more versatile piece, swap to burgundy denim (or corduroy) on the bottom. In a pant, burgundy is classic enough to be less risky and well worth investing in, even if your personal style is more sedate than Mandy’s dramatic flair. Finish with black OTK’s for that requisite “pop!”. (Note: if you go with cords, choose leather boots over suede as the textures of suede and corduroy will be visually quite similar, whereas the smooth leather will contrast nicely.). Finish off with a fierce and/or chic accessory: an on-trend saddle bag or star earrings. September is bringing us a whole pastiche of looks, loves - everything from on-trend, to totally fierce to summer throwbacks! There's a little something for everyone, so let's get into it :)
Jojo has been nailing her fashion quite often lately. This outfit from her time in Manila is simple, but fierce, as she finishes off a ribbed playsuit with OTK boots. I really love the chain belt at her waist! This kind of focal-point is all you need to add that exclamation point to an otherwise minimal look. Lana is back to her trademark powersuit, after a lifetime of bridal outfits :). This bright cobalt is just glorious and the satin fabric is luxurious and sexy. She ramps that up by setting a matching lace bustier underneath it. She accessorizes with a spot on-trend choker. I'm also a fan of her high bun; she always looks so chic with her pulled back like this! Maria went a bit vintage with her Impact tv look. This coord set is done in palest blush, giving it a modern-nostalgic vibe. She enhanced that with t-strap pumps and then gave the look a soft glamour by adding what Chanel would have called "ropes of pearls". :) Maria's tv style often focuses on the sexy and glam, but we know from her 'shoots that she is comfortable with a wide variety of style genres. It's fabulous to see her explore some of those looks on tv! Mandy is keeping things all summmery with this cute combo. She paired a sweetheart-necklined bustier in a gorgeous watermelon red with high-waisted denim shorts. The color story is classic and the look is super-sexy! She keeps it on trend by rounding it off with lace-up sandals in a warm beige. Maryse arrived at a recent live event in this white Abyss By Abby dress with a geometric sheer inset at the shoulders. The detail makes this sheath very modern and Maryse runs with that vibe, topping it with a white motorcycle jacket by Zara and finishing it with gray ankle booties from Gucci. In addition to the clean-lined dress, a few particular choices make this look stand out. First is the squared toe design of her booties. With the pointy-toe having been fashion royalty for the last season or two, some new shapes are beginning to pop up. The squared is quite unusual. While I appreciate it's uniqueness, I'm not sure it is my favorite silhouette. How about you? Next, how about that orange lip shade? This hot and rare color functions flawlessly here in adding a real pop to this nearly-monchrome look. Lastly, she contrasts that bright lip and pure white canvas with dark nails, which adds another fun visual twist. Apparently the only way WWE now knows how to do fun summer 'shoots is via galleries. Gone are the halcyon days of Summer Skin and similar extravaganzas. Summer delights are consigned to the Big Dub's version of #TBTs and bikini "shoots" culled from the ladies' own Instagrams. And then , there are the re-hashes. They've literally released the same pic of Barbie/Kelly three times. I love Barbie as much, or perhaps significantly more than, the next wrestling fan, but even I draw the line at getting the same snap in multiple recycled galleries. What especially annoys me about this is that, in addition to being a distinctive letdown to the fandom at large, it shortchanges the lady superstars. There are a few pics interspersed here that are new and they show talent ready and waiting to be utilized in full, focused spreads. These ladies have got the style, the look, and the camera savvy to impress us and send thrilling shivers through our fashion universe; what are ya waiting for, WWE?
This shot of Maryse gives us the chance to view her gold sequin statement coat close-up, as well as savor her pairing it with a sheet inset bodysuit and shorts. As much as I loooove the fierceness of the bodysuit alone, the shorts feel fresh to me and I'm thrilled by the op to enjoy the combo. I also adore the collar necklace! And, naturally Maryse rocks the pose. Carmella also gets a shot or two to show off her New York-influenced style. This gear is an instant hit in my book. It takes advantage of the high impact of the black and white trend, done in an athletic silhouette. The basic premise is straightforward and strong, but a few little touches make it uniquely Carmella's...and all of them have attitude! The leopard lining of her leather jacket, the unabashed "Fabulous" statement across her top and the band of bling all bring a streetwise confidence to her look. And she nails the pose! I would be head over stilettos for a full 'shoot from Renee with this outfit. She's tossed a super cool floral bomber jacket over leather skinny pants and likely a tee/tank of some kind. The way the florals soften the jock-ish vibe of the bomber is amazeballs. Ditto the way the print plays against the tough-chic feel of her leggings. I'm envisioning this look completed with black pointy toe pumps. And, I will not fail to spend a moment or three waxing lyrical over her hairstyle! This wrap-around braid is gorgeous and sooooo sophisticated! I've seen Alexa on NXT, but never really connected with her character until these shots (behold, the power of the photoshoot!). Her glamour girl self comes shining through and it feels really lighthearted and authentic. I'm kind of crazed over the crystals in her hair; love those so much! She amps up her black lace dress with a colored streak in her hair...and a crystal belt. Def yaaas on the hair. I might have gone for a low-set brooch instead of the belt, just to try to do something a little farther off the diving board, but I think this is a case of Alexa trying her wings to see what works. Her innate style sense is clearly solid and I can't wait to see where it leads her as it experimentation allows it to mature. This outfit doesn't seem to be overly superhero-y, but it does constitute a really solid effort from Mandy. Sometimes I feel like she focuses too much on the sexy side of her look and doesn't balanced it out with something a bit more controlled. Here, however, her form-fitting dress sports a mod and somewhat conservative high neck, which evens out the bodycon silhouette. OTK's bring some fierce! She keeps her jewelry slim for a hint of flash. Her poses are standards, but done with poise and confidence.
Emma channels the Superman vibe with this red cutout dress. The studs add an unexpected dimension and catch some light, which works nicely with the 'shoot's theme. Her dark lip is a huge asset to conveying the mystery and drama of the scene, making it one of my favorite elements of her look. I would have been interested to see her carry that feel further via a smoky eye. I'm imagining fiercesome black leather ankle booties completing this look :) Eva Marie's classic white cropped tee and jeans combo is fantastic...but I'm also pretty sure it falls into the "photoshopped onto this background" category because I think I've seen this outfit before. With her red hair, these snaps immediately make me think of Independence Day and these poses certainly have the makings of a killer Fourth Of July photoshoot. How sad that they were employed here instead. Ah, c'est la vie. Nice job by Eva, though. Now that the warmer weather is here, have you got bikini bods on your mind? Whether its getting one or ogling one, the Big Dub has you covered with their latest collection of bikini'd divas, curated from the ladies' Instagram postings. We've added a couple of our own finds as well ...because...bikinis! Ready to get blasted? Blue is hot this year according to the divas, as no less than three of them rocked that color. Mandy showed off this breezy crosshatch string style. The color play of the hot pink piping is just fab! Nikki went for a glorious cobalt shade that is killer! Equally killer is the cut-out center, held together with slim horizontal straps. Oh. My. Naturally, she finished off the look in style with black leather sandals. She can even make a neck brace look hot. #IAmNotWorthyBows. I love the graduated dot styling of Eva Marie's classic white bikini. That pop-art detail lends a very mod vibe to the piece. With denim shorts and her red hair, this pic immediately makes me think of Independence Day! Summer hopped on the fringe trend with this goooooorgeous deep periwinkle blue top, paired with black string bottoms. Mixing and matching is just plain fun! I'm in love with her classy peeptoe wedges - completely magnificent silhouette! The oval cutouts on Brie's bikini are the first thing that make it stand out...va-va-vroom! How tantalizing are those? The second can't-miss-it detail is that mesmerizing bright emerald color! This shade has just come back on fashion's radar after a number of years away and its return is oh so welcome :). Rosa shows off a classic black bikini with a ring detail accent. You can never go wrong with black! It's alwaaaaaays chic.
