Eva Marie has had her NEM fashion line for about a year now and in celebration of that, we thought we'd do a Inspiration Board focusing on the pieces from her collection. Be aware - NEM pieces tend to sell out each season, so if you love something, grab it! NEM's overall focus is toward trendy, fast fashion styles, but there's also a nice selection of the more classic silhouettes I love. That makes it super easy to put looks together, especially as we head into the season of transitional dressing.
This gray midi pencil skirt is about as classic as you can get, which is why it immediately caught my eye! The sleek lines of a pencil skirt always look polished, so softening it up with something like this crochet sweater is a winning match-up. I love the pattern of this piece - it's delicate and very feminine. Layer it over a blush cami or tank and then get in one of this year's hottest color trends by finishing the look with red shoes. The pink is muted by the crochet, so this is a subtle and safe way to try this daring match-up. (Don't forget that you can reverse it with a red cami and blush shoes instead, if you possess those pieces already ;)). This look will translate to fall easily - just add a jacket on top. Look for one that's slightly shorter than the sweater and let the scalloped hem and sleeves show beneath. I would probably opt for a blazer here, but military, biker or a classic leather piece will look flawless as well. Swap the mules for pumps or ankle booties (play it cool with beige or black neutrals or take a risk with burgundy velvet ones ;)) NEM Pieces: Summer Crochet Top All In Skirt

SummerSlam brought us it's usual line-up of gorge gear and we are breakin' it down for ya!
Kim: Not only did Natalya become the new Smackdown Live Women's Champion on Sunday, she totally wow'd us in this pink and black embellished body suit. The Queen of (Black) Harts came down to the ring sporting a black and pink jacket, that was very reminiscent of her Uncle, Bret Hart. I think what I love most about this gear is the V cluster of crystals on the top and along her neckline. We already know Natalya loves her embellishments from her previous gear. They add so much to her look, which mostly consists of black leather and sheer material. Finally, I don't know how I didn't notice until I looked at the photos, but she also wore these adorable cat ears while making her entrance. Oh so fitting for Nattie! Brie: First, let me say WOOHOOOO and Congrats to Natalya! I'm insanely excited for her to have a belt again! It's been such a long wait and Nattie has been amazing about putting SO many girls over. I swear every diva superstars' last stop before their title win was a match with her, so she unquestionably earned this. I hope her reign is lengthy and incredible. All Hail the Queen Of Harts! And her gear was worthy of a royal! She took the best parts of the fleur-de-lis look form Wrestlemania that I've been raving over, switched it to pink and added more gems, including a jewel-encrusted collar and a Princess-Dala-Pink-Panther-esque pendant. This attire is everything . From the scalloped edges, finished in fleur-de-lis, to the sheer sections to the glittering stripes to the opulent gems to the modern attitude of her cropped leather jacket topper, this is utterly jaw-dropping. I'm in heaven! Finally - I am back to FashionHaps again! Sorry it's been such a drought, loves! XO
Barbie took the pajamas-as-daywear trend to heart with this LBD from Meshki Boutique. The drapey shape and wrap styling give a strong impression of a silk bathrobe. I can't say this would be my first choice to grab off a hanger and wear (also I would need to glue it in place for fear of a strong wind), but Barbie pulls it off, mainly because of the simplicity of her styling. Fabulous, minimalist ankle straps, super-slim necklaces and pin-straight hair complete the look - nothing to get in the way of the dress' unmistakable sexy statement. And that's enough to keep it on the side of [daringly!] chic. Next up is a super casual pairing of a black bodysuit and cutoff jean shorts. I like Barbie's choice of a light denim wash here - it keeps the look from being overly dark and autumnal. I'm also a huge fan of her knee-high lace-up gladiators; the drama of the shoes gives this simple look a big dose of cool. Barbie completed the look with a cowboy hat, which look fantastic on her. I would have preferred the breezy, it-girl vibes of a Panama hat with her sandals and paired ankle booties with this Western-style head-wear. It was back to formality with her glittering Kourvoiseur dress. The patterning, sequins and slim straps gives me something of a Gatsby-era vibe. I applaud Barbie's decision to pull her hair back - the refined styling let the gown have center stage. We've seen similar pieces often enough before, but this is nicely done, as we'd expect from Barbie. I'm hoping she completed the styling with her nude ankle straps sandals, but they might be the clear sandals she's favored so much lately. I'm hoping it's the former. The same hope exists with her next look, a white mock-neck cropped top paired with beige cropped pants. The color, silhouette and lace-up detail all combine to make these pants a hit with me. Her top is a bit less so, due the thin-ness of the fabric allowing the edge of her bra to be extremely visible. It breaks the line of the outfit and looks somewhat unkempt, which is unfortunate because overall, the look exudes an easy, modern sensuality. As a bonus, it would translate nicely to fall with the addition of beige ankle booties. She went with white and cropped on top again for her next look, but the styling of this piece is quite different: rather than a minimalist tee, this is a feminine blouse with trendy flowing sleeves and a graceful v-neck. Barbie reprised the flowy-ness on the bottom with wide-leg pants in a cranberry shade. I just can't commit to the Fandom Of The Front-Slit pants, but leaving that aside, this color is magnificent and the high-waisted, wide-leg style is has a soft elegance. There's a good bit of motion and fabric in the combination of these two pieces, making the strongly defined waist a crucial aspect of the pairing. It acts as a grounding point for all the swirl of the sleeves and pants. Barbie's nude ankle straps complete the look, which works nicely. White sandals would have been quite fab here as well. This has been a fantastic year for gear in WWE! We have divas all over the place evolving, inventing and really pushing the envelope with their gear. It's been an amazing ride. The only downside is that we now, somehow, have to pick the top three - ugh. I mean, it's a good problem to have though :). How did we finally resolve said problem? Read on to find out!
Woohoo! The hottest party of the Summer is happening... Tonight! Summerslam is one of the biggest PPV's WWE puts on every year, and because of that, we usually get some pretty exciting, unique, and head turning gear from the women superstars. Before we see what the lovely ladies bring to the table tonight, let's look back at past SummerSlam years and some memorable ensembles. 2013 - Brie Bella
Briiiiieeee Moooooddeeee! Goodness, I miss that. Brie totally killed it back in 2013 with this vintage inspired gear. The black, white, and red color scheme is text-book Bella style, and I adore the long, red gloves she added for her entrance. Do you see those tiny bows on her wrists? Adorable! This gear was before Brie moved away from her trademark ruffle boot covers, but I love how the trim matches her high waisted shorts. Now, the really cool fact about this gear is that you could actually own it yourself... because it's a swim suit! That's right! I couldn't find it anymore, but I remember when she debuted this gear, people found the exact same suit online. It would be like owning a little piece of SummerSlam, and Bella Twins, fashion history. With the cyclone of changes and growing pains that TNA has been going through recently, it's been a tad tricky to keep up with and evaluate the gear goings-on. A handful of ladies have still managed to impress us, though, despite the upheavals, which gives us the opportunity to present our 2017 edition of the Knockouts' Ring Gear Awards!
Who are we placing where and why did they wow us? Well... McKenzie's Fourth Of July look was about as classic as American-girl-next-door can get: white tank, blue denim skirt. The pencil version is streamlined and classic; if you're digging that jam, def go that way :) Do a knee-length piece, or go with a hot-right-now midi. I've been loving the movement and lightness of the pleated skirts which have been all the rage on the runway, so I re-envisioned the look with pleated denim. Note: a simple flared/ A-line silhouette will create a similar vibe. McKenzie's tank is just right for a super casual event - a girl's day, picnic, movie, etc, but, because of the the skirt switch, I wanted to bring out the chic vibes of the look, so I re-imagined the styling with a blouse. I love the 70's luxe feel of a simple silk long-sleeved one (which makes the look office-appropriate). Alternatively, an off-the-shoulder piece represents the decade theme in a summery (and flirtier! ;)) way. The denim offsets the selection of the blouse to create the laidback ease of 70's fashion that was polished without being overly formal. Reiterate that statement with un-fussy footwear: boho-leaning mules or simple slides strike just the right note. Add a long (but not super-bold) pendant necklace (or two) for a hint of quiet shine, or reach for the organic tones of a woven or tasseled belt. Or, with a more detailed blouse (think ruffles, gathered sleeves, eyelet), jettison the accents and let the fabrics' textures and movement do all the talking. Disclosure: I went with red because it shows up better on-screen :) but white would be stunning here as well. I used caramel accents to scoot around the whole red, white and blue theme (chocolate, black, beige or dusty olive would work fabulously as well), but the Americana vibe could be played up instead with white accents, or alluded to via powder blue or cobalt). I hope this inspires you to try a hat tip to @ the 70's sometime soon. Happy styling!
