One of the interesting fashion features of WrestleMania this year was just how many looks involved white shirts! White is always classic for spring, but some years it's a bit more to the forefront than others and this year is one of the former. No less than four Divas (sorry WWE, it's more workable than "Superstars") were seen sporting the look. Most of the ladies chose it for meet-n-greets or similar events, while Brie wore it out an about in Dallas. Eva Marie paired her classic white slouchy tee with black denim, OTK's and a cropped jacket. The jacket really pulls this look together. The whole pairing isn't ground breaking, but it's solid, cool, casual style, totally event-appropriate and works perfectly. Becky went with a pretty overlay tee matched with black jeans. I like that she chose a top with some visual interest; the flowy quality of the top is graceful and unexpected and makes a nice contrast with the tougher texture of the denim. Her chain-like bracelet injects a bit of attitude. Tamina skipped her tough-chic style sensibilities for a refined look, pairing this black blazer with her white tee. It looks like denim formed the bottom half of her outfit, as well. Her slim sliver necklace elevates her look still more. As with Eva's outfit, this pairing isn't earth-shattering, but it's completely appropriate and well-executed, which always wins points from me! Brie's more casual look involved a white, cropped tank, paired with destroyed skinny denim and pristine white sneakers. With the Divas, we don't get to see really stylish looks that include sneakers, even though it's a strong fashion trend right now. Generally, they save sneakers for gym time or non-fashion moments, so it's really amazeballs to see Brie working them with her usual stellar sense or style and completely nailing this look. This is how you casual without being boring and sneakers without looking like you just rolled out fo bed and threw on whatever was on your floor :)

WrestleMania week is always jam-packed with fashion, so get set for reviews aplenty coming this week, including Superstars for Hope gowns, appearance fashion (including a TNA star or two!) and Wrestlemania gear.
Eva Marie completely nailed this look for her recent appearance on the Hallmark Channel's Home & Family show. This crossed-halter black jumpsuit is sexy, without being overblown. It's chic and trendy and works fabulously with Eva's cascading waves of red hair. I like the nude platform heels completing the look - they're less basic than a black pump would have been. Her dark nails bring a smidge of extra pop. Stephanie's Raw look got me like "OMG...me!" lol. Seriously, her cami+denim+blazer look is pretty much my wear-to-work go-to, especially when I'm in a time crunch, which is basically daily. This combo, although easy to put together, still packs a punch! I gravitate to pairings like blue denim with black because I'm not generally an all-black kind of girl, so I loved this match-up. I also completely second Steph's decision to finish this with fierce shoes, in this case suede peeptoe sandals. Easy polish never fails to get an extra boost from smoking hot footwear ;) Alright Fashion Fanciers...grab yourself a long, tall, hot cup of your favorite joe and strap in. We're going to analyze, adore and dissect to within an inch of it's glittering life the red carpet fashion that made us say "ooo", "aahhh" , "ooohh" and "djfefoacpokrpgknxsal". My usual disclaimer applies: hairs have been split. Miniscule fashion choices have carried immense weight due to the need to determine placings. Understand: I root my keister off for each of these girls to slay every time out. I want it to happen. I crave it. Further, I believe, I know all of them can. It's just a question of who does it when. So, who did it last Saturday night? The 2016 Hall Of Fame Fashion Review is awaiting the sound of the starter's gun. Let the counting commence!
The Ever So Fine Eva Marie: Our favorite redhead for sure has the kind of body that can rock a gown like this! And I give her huge props for wearing a white dress that doesn't look like a wedding gown. Nextly, cutouts are amazing! They can look so modern, sexy and fierce. But I also think they require some restraint, especially for a formal event. A Maxim 'shoot is one thing; this is the Hall Of Fame. This dress seems to push the risqué a bit too far for the classiest event of WWE's year. The formal up-do was a bright spot, helping to balance that, and the crystal statement necklace was a highlight as well. Set against a subtler statement, they would have made this look a winner. Emma: I love the way this gown shifted colors in the light from amethyst to wine red. There's a lot of flash and drama combined here, between the large sequins and sheer insets; it's a bit busy and comes off more brazen than intrepid. The effortless, flowing hairstyle was an excellent choice, helping to counteract all the shine. The small gold clutch functions similarly and works well. Paige: This black gown is a triumph of minimalism, depending on the deep-v front for it's visual impact. The only strike against it is that it is the same one she wore at the Oscars and, in a contest this close (as the HoF count-up *always* is!), that carries weight. Her choker is a trendy and fabulous choice. I do wish she had added a gemstone ( I'm imagining a statement-size garnet) to it; the simplicity of the dress would have benefitted from such an elevation. But these are split hairs. Her one unforgiveable choice was the flat thong sandals. Oh, Paige. You mock me :'(. As always, the could-have-beens are heart and gut-wrenching. Would a pair of studded, strappy heels (I'd even take chunky heels) really have been so impossible? Sasha: This black woven gown was a very appropriate choice for the event - chic and modern. I love her silver crystal clutch - it's clean and glamorous and brings a bit of needed flash to the black dress. Props also for the crystal bracelet. Anyone who knows me knows I love a good statement necklace so it will doubtless surprise you that I think I actually would have preferred something a bit more refined here - a slim, but sparkly or strong silver lariat comes to mind - to elevate without overdramatizing. This is a nice job for a red carpet firstie; I expect great things from Sasha as she continues to hone and evolve her style. This outfit doesn't seem to be overly superhero-y, but it does constitute a really solid effort from Mandy. Sometimes I feel like she focuses too much on the sexy side of her look and doesn't balanced it out with something a bit more controlled. Here, however, her form-fitting dress sports a mod and somewhat conservative high neck, which evens out the bodycon silhouette. OTK's bring some fierce! She keeps her jewelry slim for a hint of flash. Her poses are standards, but done with poise and confidence.
Emma channels the Superman vibe with this red cutout dress. The studs add an unexpected dimension and catch some light, which works nicely with the 'shoot's theme. Her dark lip is a huge asset to conveying the mystery and drama of the scene, making it one of my favorite elements of her look. I would have been interested to see her carry that feel further via a smoky eye. I'm imagining fiercesome black leather ankle booties completing this look :) Eva Marie's classic white cropped tee and jeans combo is fantastic...but I'm also pretty sure it falls into the "photoshopped onto this background" category because I think I've seen this outfit before. With her red hair, these snaps immediately make me think of Independence Day and these poses certainly have the makings of a killer Fourth Of July photoshoot. How sad that they were employed here instead. Ah, c'est la vie. Nice job by Eva, though. So it begins. Wrestlemania week, lovelies! Are you strapped in? I'll be finishing up March and delving into aaaaallll the WM fashion happenings so come early and often...and stay late ;)
Nikki Bella wore this black sheer-striped dress to a recent event. The sheer-stripe/ lined-unlined pairing has been an important look in fashion lately. Done right, it has a wonderful visual play that's lighthearted and flirty. She paired with her Louis Vuitton pumps, which we haven't see for awhile. I always love to see the Divas re-use fashion in an interesting way. She also wore this simple but fab sleeveless shell and slim pants combo - I'm loving her use of the red. It packs a punch and is both classy and unexpected! She finished off the look with a bit of glam - crystal-accented almond toe pumps, which I would move in with in a heartbeat ;). The shoes elevate this outfit and create a gorgeous and exciting exclamation point. Like Nikki, Summer has the sheer-stripe thing going on this month. Hers was done via a pencil skirt, which she paired with a lace halter top. The lighting makes this look a bit jaw-dropping (something to keep in mind when choosing one's outfits), but I believe this look is really the sexy-meets-modern kind of event-appropriate fashion Summer excels at. Oh...and this pose? Can we have that in the next photoshoot, pretty pleasums? I always have a certain innate pull toward outfits that are a straightforward mix of classic elements, spiked with a twist. It's a combination Natalya often gravitates to as well. This look pairs an iconic leather jacket with blue denim. The spike comes from the mesh embellishment on her black tee, which gives a cool, edgy vibe to the look. OTK's finish the outfit perfectly. It's not overly complex, but it looks divine, embodying "I woke up like this" fashion sensibilities. Brie is always at the forefront of the casual cool style crowd. This cropped tank and jeans is as laidback as it gets. But there are a few elements that make it particularly stand out. One is her use of navy instead of black. Even though there's just barest extra bit of warmth in the deep blue as compared to the black, it still softens the whole vibe of the outfit. Second, I love the easy, comfortable chic of her suede slip-on flats. This is a perfect xample of how subtle details make an outfit! I ttly can't believe WrestleMania week is almost here! Are you revved? Me 2! And scared lol. I have to clear a bunch of posts out my backlog before we get to the fashion deluge that is WM week...gaaah! So it's lots of work for me..but lots of fun for you lucky ones ;). Hold on to your cloches, loves and strap in. It's gonna get caaaaa-raaayzaay.
A lot of the LBD's we see are sheaths, bodycon or otherwise pretty button-downed style, but this one from Lana has a bit more flow and movement to it, as a result of the georgette sleeves. I especially love the chic femininity of the long cuffs. The rounded neckline also gives off a softer vibe, as compared to a bolder V-shape. Lana enhanced that vibe with lace tights and then brough a bit of an edge to the look with black OTKs. I like the way the lace breaks up the black-on-black with texture. Maria wore this gooooorgeous sheath dress during a mid-March Impact episode. If you look fast, you see a typical ivory sheath. But ssly, let's just take a moment to fully appreciate this dress. Atop the ivory fabric is multi-colored embroidery in a beautiful scrolled floral design. And that is embellished with crystals. Ogh...so fab! Even though Maria's with TNA now, this dress is completely WM-worthy! Or prom-worthy ;). She finished it of with metallic gold single-sole heels, which are a perfect choice, as they reflect the warmth of the dress's color. This casual outfit from Rosa is a fairly basic pairing of a cute, red sleeveless tee and skinny jeans. What made it stand out for me, though, was her choice of snake print flats. That is how you do a statement flat, Fiercettes! It elevates the whole outfit. WWE just released their third photoshoot in a week (more on those coming soon!), so maybe the wheel is finally turning in that department. Prior to this week, it seemed like all the 'shoots were bottlenecked, even though the ladies kept releasing teaser shots. I finally gave up waiting for the Big Dub to cough up the goodies, so even though this snap of Eva looks like a 'shoot pic, I'm reviewing it. Ms. All Red Everything gave us a very garage-glam look with distressed skinny jeans paired with a fantastically studded leather jacket. Lest you think Paige is the Queen of leather jackets, Eva begs to differ. This one is smoking hot and brings plenty of attitude. The black monochrome outfit helps to ground all those studs, while her pointy toe textured-leather pumps bring the glam. This kind of look is where Eva's fashion sense really shines! If WWE has been bad about letting loose the 'shoots, TNA has been even worse. It's been like excavating an Egyptian tomb to get any kind of fashion at all out of the Impact crowd lately, outside of the ever-amazing Maria. Sigh. At least we have this find from a recent archaeological adventure: Dixie doing 70's as she does best, with an off-shoulder snake print top, black jeans and knee boots. She accented it with a multi-strand bead necklace. This look is classic Dixie and it works well - it's interesting and polished and touch sexy. Now that the warmer weather is here, have you got bikini bods on your mind? Whether its getting one or ogling one, the Big Dub has you covered with their latest collection of bikini'd divas, curated from the ladies' Instagram postings. We've added a couple of our own finds as well ...because...bikinis! Ready to get blasted? Blue is hot this year according to the divas, as no less than three of them rocked that color. Mandy showed off this breezy crosshatch string style. The color play of the hot pink piping is just fab! Nikki went for a glorious cobalt shade that is killer! Equally killer is the cut-out center, held together with slim horizontal straps. Oh. My. Naturally, she finished off the look in style with black leather sandals. She can even make a neck brace look hot. #IAmNotWorthyBows. I love the graduated dot styling of Eva Marie's classic white bikini. That pop-art detail lends a very mod vibe to the piece. With denim shorts and her red hair, this pic immediately makes me think of Independence Day! Summer hopped on the fringe trend with this goooooorgeous deep periwinkle blue top, paired with black string bottoms. Mixing and matching is just plain fun! I'm in love with her classy peeptoe wedges - completely magnificent silhouette! The oval cutouts on Brie's bikini are the first thing that make it stand out...va-va-vroom! How tantalizing are those? The second can't-miss-it detail is that mesmerizing bright emerald color! This shade has just come back on fashion's radar after a number of years away and its return is oh so welcome :). Rosa shows off a classic black bikini with a ring detail accent. You can never go wrong with black! It's alwaaaaaays chic.
